There must have been numerous times when the Protector has helped me without my knowledge. The fact that I am still on the Vajrayana path, when my delusions are so strong, is due to the help of my Protector, Lord Dorje Shugden.
And this is the greatest help any one can get – to be kept on the path until we are out of samsara. On an outward level, I recall an incident in 2008. I was talking on my cell phone, while walking down the street near my home. The briefcase I was carrying contained everything that was essential for work, including my brand new laptop, my most prized treasure!
I remember feeling as if someone tapped me on my shoulder and before I knew it, my briefcase had been snatched by a man on his bike. It all happened so quickly. Needless to say, I was very upset. But after awhile, I realised how lucky it was that I was not the slightest bit hurt in any way and had escaped unscathed! There have been numerous incidents, reported in the media, of how people around the city were not just victims of snatch theft but were dragged along in a tug-of-war, hit, pushed or even clubbed to death.
I am grateful to my Protector and wish many more people can receive his blessings.

Thanks Yuri for your sharing how Dorje Shugden has helped you. With the experienced you have gone through, you may benefit lots of people by sharing it.
Well, I do have great experiences with DS too! He has helped me and my love ones went through so much of difficulties and obstacles. Thinking back, without Dorje Shugden’s helped and guidance, I might have run away or commit suicide.

Yes, I agree with you, the best gift from our enlightened Protector would be for us to stay on the Vajrayana path as tremendous merits are needed to stay true to our Guru and Protector. Also you are very lucky to remain unscathed after that snatch theft incidents. Its had been in the news of how horrific some of the injuries were to other snatch theft victims. Some even died whilst in coma. Thank you Yuri for your sharing and may you always be blessed by the powerful Protector Dorje Shugden.

Isn’t there a Chinese saying “money can be replaced”? Well, you only lost your laptop and work essentials which can be replaced, only hope that you didn’t have sensitive information in your laptop.
You still have the health and conditions to practice dharma, so you are lucky. And, glad that you show your appreciation for Dorje Shugden’s assistance.
