With due respect to Dalai Lama, you are the symbol of compassion and wisdom but I was disappointed on your speech by using the “fear factor” to stop ordinary people like us from practicing Dharmapala Dorje Shugden. Personally I demand a better and clearer reason why I should follow your instruction?

Hmmmm I think the choice of words has a part to play in our perception of this issue. If the video had been titled “manipulated” instead of “preying”, I feel it would be a more accurate representation of the Dalai Lamas actions. Because there are so many inconsistencies with the Dalai Lamas behaviour and words.
I do think the Dalai Lama is manipulating the Tibetans fear factor, but I can also separate intent from method – his method is manipulation, and his intent (for me) is to sort out the wheat from the chaff, and the real practitioners from the ones who sadly go with whichever lama has the biggest name.
