Yes, it is too obvious to NOT tell that the Dalai Lama's words are hard to believe. He changes his mind nowadays faster than the weather and we are talking about serious political movements that affect people. Anyway, you should notice he has toned down a lot and is much quieter. He should be resting more and focus on retreat rather than making irrelevant statements since he has already retired from the political role in the CTA.

The Dalai Lama has been self-contradicting stance on several issues, don't you notice that? Not only about the Tibetan cause, but also about the next Dalai Lama, the China Panchen Lama, the Dorje Shugden ban and so on. How can such an intelligent person like Him to make so many self-contradicting statements? The only possible reason is he is planning for something that is not suitable to be made public yet.

It is true that the Dalai Lama changes his mind faster than lightning! Why is that so? Why a person who has so much wisdom is manifesting so many mistakes in recent years? He was not like this before, he was so well respected and he even won the Nobel World Peace Price.

There was this bigger picture theory. It is said that even though the Dalai Lama and Dorje Shugden might appear to be against each other, they are actually working together to bring Dorje Shugden practice to the world and to preserve Buddhist teachings. It actually sounds logical. If it was not because of the ban, the Chinese government will not give so much support to Dorje Shugden lamas and monasteries to continue to spread and give Dharma teachings. It is very important to preserve Buddhism in China because the majority of the Buddhists are in China.

I think the Dalai Lama keeps manifesting mistakes and making himself look unreliable is to prepare to lift the Dorje Shugden ban. Because if he is making so mistakes, his view on the true nature of Dorje Shugden can be a mistake also. One day, he will turn around and say he has made a mistake, Dorje Shugden, in fact, is an emanation of Manjushri and he is an enlightened protector we can rely on.

Look like Dalai Lama realized that only China can allow him to go back to his homeland. No point to irk or create any trouble but just befriend with them. What was the past just let go and everyone needs to move on. 60 years in India doesn't serve Tibetan any good, in fact, their situation is getting worst. Look at the bigger picture here. Preserve the monastery knowledge, culture and tradition of Tibet is important and focus on that. After all that we preserve here is for the future generation and is our duty to make sure it is preserved.

Unfortunately, the Tibetan government does not think like that. They are still hoping one day they are able to get an Independent Tibet back from China which is clearly impossible. They went around the world and trying to raise awareness and gather support from the western countries to join them on their fight against China.

However, China now is one of the most powerful countries in the world and the western countries are eager to get onto their good books to get some benefits from their enormous economy. Hence, it is obvious that getting benefits from China outweighs the benefits that they can get from siding with Tibetans. There is nothing the Tibetans can give those western countries aside some delusion for them to think that they are actually going against China and it is effective.

The Tibetan leadership should wake up from their dreams already. There is no use for them to be stuck in 1959 and forever living in that mode. Many Tibetans had chosen to leave Tibetan settlement to fight for a better future and they are willing to do that.
