Dalai Lama says returning to China is better for Tibetans

Dalai Lama says returning to China is better for Tibetans

What will the Rangzen (Tibet Independence fighters) people who were fighting for Tibet’s freedom do now??? Have they wasted their time?

Suddenly the Dalai Lama keeps insisting he wants to be a part of China. How about all the tens of millions of dollars in money and so much time and resource poured into the Free Tibet movement for 57 years in exile. Is that all wasted? Is that all down the drain? Why is the Dalai Lama turning around 360 and basically backstabbing the Rangzen people?

If Dalai Lama returns to Tibet/China, then he is telling the world China is good for Tibetans and we Tibetans want to be a part of China. Is that correct? In other words the Dalai Lama is telling the world that Tibet is a part of China? After so many years of saying they want independence and that Tibet was a country eaten by China and now Dalai Lama is sending being part of China is good for Tibet to the world? Interesting!

How will India feel after hosting the Dalai Lama for so many years?
This one minute video shows the Dalai Lama August 2018 saying he feels Tibet should be a part of China!

The Dalai Lama also criticised Nehru for being self-centered, making it clear that he is pleasing the Chinese so that he can pave his way back to China. You can read it here http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/features/dalai-lama-blames-nehru-for-india-pakistan-partition/ Many Indians are disappointed and angry at him because he gave an impression that he is biting the hands that feed him. It is very unnecessary for him to poke his nose into India's politics. As a guest of India, he should not interfere with her internal affairs. As a monk, he shouldn't take part in any political activities. For the past 59 years, the Dalai Lama has never said a single bad word about India. The only logical explanation for his obnoxious behavior is him striking a deal with China for his return, criticising India is part of the package.

After 60 years of struggle and fighting for independence, there is still no result it is very clear the Free Tibet cause is definitely a failure. Maybe this is how the Dalai Lama feels, that the Free Tibet cause is not going to succeed. Therefore he changes his approach.

Instead of fighting for independence, the Dalai Lama now only wants autonomous recognition for Tibet. Maybe he knows Lobsang Sangay is too arrogant towards China, so he decided to do what he can to try to bring the Tibetans back to Tibet. It is simply unfair that the Tibetans in exile are still stateless and hope the Tibet Cause will succeed after 60 years of waiting.

I think the Dalai Lama knows the CTA will not be able to provide a future for the Tibetans in exile. With the increasing anger of the local Indians towards the Tibetans in exile, the CTA is still not taking any action. They are busy going around the world to ask for donations for their cause, they are not building a better relationship with China. So for the future of the Tibetans in exile, the Dalai Lama has to change his stance.

CTA is useless. Full stop. Theor biggest 'contribution' for Tibet is lost Tibet to China. There is nothing else about them. No achievement, extremely corrupted and stupid. Why would anyone put their life and hope on them? You know Lobsang Sangay campaign for Sikyong because he does not have what it takes to join US politics. He invested in Havard law as part of the plan to join CTA and twisted human rights for his own benefits. He is the most useless country leaders you can never imagine. Besides, he didn't even have a country to run, all he had to do is to take care of 80,000 Tibetans refugees. With trillions of donations from overseas, he has failed to provide anything for Tibetan refugees. But, he managed to clear his property mortgage in the US, travel on business class, enjoy fine dining and get a lot of favours from Dhardon Sharling apart from all other girls he had eyes on.

I bet all the tens and thousands of Rangzen support groups all over the world will feel very stupid and betrayed now. For 60years, they have been contributing to the Tibet Cause (Rangzen) financially and physically. They donated so much and raised a lot of funds to support the CTA to get their country back. They also went on protest all over the world to raise awareness globally on the force occupation of Tibet by China. There was so much effort and money went into this and now His Holiness the Dalai Lama just casually go online and tell the whole world that he decided that Tibet should go with China because it will be better for Tibetans.

If I was a Rangzen supporter, I would have thrown a fit. My effort for all these years are wasted and I fought for an empty cause. What a way of wasting other people's money and time. On top of that, CTA has full support financially and physically from all the Rangzen fighters from all over the world for 60 years and they accomplished nothing. Tibet is still under China. Their settlements are still very backward and the facilities are still not completed and run down. All the money had went into the pockets of those corrupted Tibetan leaders and their lavish 5-star trips around the world.

Rangzen has always been a fraud. The CTA and Dalai Lama can always say they have discarded the rangzen cause long ago. They have been talking about Umaylam and this has always been the main cause for Tibet. Those who insisted on rangzen do it based on their choice, supposedly, and it has been seen as going against His Holiness since then until recently, an audience was granted for the rangzen people including Jamyang Norbu. They had an hour-long session with His Holiness who was believed to advise them to continue their activities on rangzen in order to prove that Tibet was once a free nation. This is an important chip for the negotiation between His Holiness and the Chinese for his return to China soon.

Lobsang Sangay is not that stupid after all as he knows how to profit from the Tibetan plight. He has a very clear objective for himself, that is to make money for himself and so he can have a good life in the US. He is not interested to save Tibet and the Tibetans, he is more interested to make sure he will be ok after the CTA is closed down.

The actions of Lobsang Sangay demonstrate clearly he is only interested in making himself rich and comfortable. He siphoned millions of dollars from the CTA, when the public requested him to clarify, he refused to address the issue. The Dalai Lam keeps saying he wants the Middle Way Approach but instead of making a good connection with China, Lobsang Sangay is touring around the world to condemn China. It is as if he wants to make sure the Middle Way approach fails.

The Tibetans in exile and the Dalai Lama are being used as the money-making tool for the CTA. The CTA needs the refugees status to win sympathy from the west for money. The Dalai Lama is a very successful brand name for the CTA to get donation too. It is sad to know that the only winner at the end of the day is the CTA.

What you say is all very true and I agree Drolma. So tell me, Dalai Lama is Chenrezig, doesn't he know all this about the hypocrite evil Sangay? So why does he allow this to go on? Why allow someone to cheat the people? His people?

That is an interesting way of looking at it. The Dalai Lama allowing or even encouraging Rangzen movement to continue in order for the world to remember Tibet as a free country, which then becomes a bargaining chip in negotiation with China. It could work i guess but then this will be based on China "worrying" how the world views her and that she becomes disadvantage by their views. With China's current status of being top in terms of economic and political power, China is skillfully winning countries after countries in their favour with their generosity. So I think China has the upper hand in negotiation and Rangzen is just simply a total lost cause.

Going back to China is definitely a better option for the Tibetans. There is so much opportunity in China, Tibetans can work in the government sector or private sector, they have the choice. They don't have to be someone's relative to get a job in the government sector. However, they must have the qualification to do the job.

Unlike in India, to get a job in the CTA, you must have a connection in the CTA, qualification is not necessary. This is the reason why the Tibetan community in India is not progressing. Free Tibet movement does not give any result, Tibetans are still refugees in India. No one knows for sure if the Tibet cause will ever succeed.

After waiting for so long, many Tibetans have given up on the CTA. They want to move on with their lives. Migrating overseas, becoming the Indian citizen or going back to China are their options. Looking at how China is getting stronger every day, it makes a lot of sense to go back to China for a better future and a better life.

It is a no brainer to know that going back to China is a better option for the Tibetans in exile. Just look at what had the Tibetan government achieved for the Tibetans in India for the past 60 years? The settlements looked the same and Tibetans are still living as if they are returning to Tibet the next year. It is just stagnant and nothing is happening.

Many Tibetans knows that their future in India will be the same if they do not escape from the clutches of their governemnt. That is why, many Tibetans have migrated overseas to fight for a better future. Those who are staying back in India are starting to convert to be Indian citizens and move out of Tibetan settlements. Some of them even choose to go back to Tibet to be under the Chinese.

If His Holiness the Dalai Lama said that going back to Tibet is the best for Tibetans then all Tibetans should go back to Tibet and join China. What His Holiness said is true because look at how China developed Tibet. Tibet is so good right now and almost no poverty. Tibetans should listen to what their god-king says and leave their bad government in India.

If it could work, rangzen people will not be segregated in exile or forced into exile in the West. Logically speaking, why would China even want the biggest enemies back to cause more troubles? The Dalai Lama just mentioned recently that the next Dalai Lama might be an Indian and he might have his last breath in India. The Dalai Lama does not see the hope of returning to China now. He has been telling the Tibetans for years that they will all return to Tibet and in recent years he will return before he passed on. It seems like the Dalai Lama does not have clairvoyance and whatever he has said were all inaccurate like the Nechung oracle. Sad.

Tibetans should just listen to His Holiness the Dalai Lama because what he said is the best for Tibetans right now. Tibet cause is no longer viable and His Holiness clearly explains that Rangzen is not his approach anymore and they should work towards Umaylam. It is a very big giveaway that independence for Tibet is not possible and the best they can do is to get into China's good books and hope that China will allow them to go back to Tibet.

China has been initiating the effort to bring Tibetans back to Tibet and Tibetans in India should jump at this opportunity because it means a brighter future for them. There is no future in the Tibetan camps in India and they will not go anywhere under that kind of leadership. Since CTA do not fight for them, they will have to fight for themselves.

The Dalai Lama has been self-contradicting stance on several issues, don't you notice that? Not only about the Tibetan cause, but also about the next Dalai Lama, the China Panchen Lama, the Dorje Shugden ban and so on. How can such an intelligent person like Him to make so many self-contradicting statements? The only possible reason is he is planning for something that is not suitable to be made public yet.

If you are not blind, it is not hard to see how much Tibet has developed and progressed in the past 20 years. Tibetans in Tibet have a better living environment and condition than those Tibetans in India. The Dalai Lama loves the Tibetans, that is why he is asking them to return to Tibet. He knows the CTA is useless and they will not be able to give the Tibetans a better future. If the CTA is reliable, the Dalai Lama would not have sent Samdhong Rinpoche to China to meet with some Chinese officials.
