16th Karmapa publicly PRAISED King Dorje Shugden in 1976
« on: May 17, 2018, 03:05:35 AM »
We know that the 17th Karmapa has public stated that the then 5th Dalai Lama murdered Karma Kagyu Tulkus and destroyed both their lineages and monasteries.

Were you also aware that the 16th Karmapa was publicly PRO Dorje Shugden?

Here is my link to the story about the 17th Karmapa and what he said at the Kagyu Monlam in 2018.

On March 12, 2016 Tsem Tulku wrote an article about how the 16th Karmapa was PRO Dorje Shugden.

It was titled "The Prophecy of the 16th Karmapa".

His article states that as far back as 1976 the 16th Karmapa had publicly praised King Dorje Shugden.

Here are quotes from Tsem Tulku's article.

In 1976, His Holiness the 16th Karmapa Rangjung Rigpe Dorje graced the opening of Urgyen Rinpoche’s new monastery called Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling in Nepal and gave a prophetic proclamation. This Nyingma monastery was built on a farmland just north of the ancient and legendary Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu...This monastery was built under the guidance and direction of the 16th Karmapa....According to an account in Kyabje Dagom Rinpoche’s collected works (sungbum), the Karmapa came across a statue of Dorje Drolo during an inspection of the new monastery. Dorje Drolo is a wrathful emanation of Guru Rinpoche. This particular image was pressing down upon a smaller figure of a monk with a round hat, under his feet, that resembled the Dharma protector Dorje Shugden. The Karmapa stood in the presence of the statue for a while and then pointed at the statue and asked, “Who is the person that ask for this statue to be made? This isn’t Nyingma nor Sakya, certainly not Gelug and not Kagyu either. I didn’t ask for it to be made! This is not one of the deities you can rely on…”

“Although the time is a little early, in the future you will definitely need to rely on this deity (Dorje Shugden).”– His Holiness 16th Karmapa

The Karmapa was speaking to a line of abbots and masters but nobody came forward to own up. So, the Karmapa ordered for the statue to be removed immediately. A man came up with an axe and a shovel to remove the image. The Lamas who were present would definitely remember this incident and in the account, a seventy-five year old man from Chamdo by the name of Samcho had witnessed this.

This prophecy by His Holiness Karmapa is an unusual one because he had no known history or prior relations to the practice of Dorje Shugden. The Karmapa himself is the head of Karma Kagyu and there is no known history between the Karma Kagyu and the practice of Dorje Shugden either. The prophecy could be indicating that when the political issues surrounding the practice ceases to be, there will be future growth and proliferation of Dorje Shugden’s practice. Karmapa was known for his powerful clairvoyance. When he made such a prediction, it will come true. The 16th Karmapa and the current one has never made one negative comment about Dorje Shugden ever.

The original and authentic depictions of Dorje Drolo, the wrathful emanation of Guru Rinpoche, did not have him stepping on a monk who is suppose to be Dorje Shugden. The phenomena of portraying Dorje Shugden under Dorje Drolo is a something concocted and offensive to many people. This does not create religious harmony.

Two pages from Kyabje Dagom Rinpoche's sungbum (collected works) in which there is an account of His Holiness 16th Karmapa's visit to the monastery and his prophecy concerning the practice of Dorje Shugden.

Here is a link to Tsem Tulku's article.

Neither of the two current 17th Karmapa's have ever publicly made statements against Dorje Shugden.

For them to do this would go against their previous incarnation's public prophesy praising Dorje Shugden and his future activities.

If they had of stated that the 16th Karmapa was wrong in praising Dorje Shugden then they would be stating that he could also have made other errors in his teachings.

If the 16th Karmapa could make errors in his teaching and prophecies then they also have to admit that they too could make errors.

This never happen with either of the two 17th Karmapas.

This is why you have never heard them say anything against Dorje Shugden.

There is a story of how the 14th Dalai Lama tried to pressure his choice as the 17th Karmapa to publicly condemn King Dorje Shugden.

When confronted by the Dalai Lama and his evil request the 17th Karmapa refused him.

He stated that it would go against what he as the previous 16th Karmapa prophesied about King Dorje Shugden.

If the 16th Karmapa was now wrong about Dorje Shugden he could also have been wrong about all the Tulkus he had recognized and enthroned.

He the 17th Karmapa could be wrong about all the Tulkus he had recognized and enthroned.

The Dalai Lama never tried to ask the other 17th Karmapa that was chosen by H.E. Sharmapa Rinpoche to publicly condemn Dorje Shugden.

We all know of the public hatred that Sharmapa Rinpoche had for the Dalai Lama and his interference in their choosing of their very own Karmapa.

In the strange and evil world of the 14th Dalai Lama he considers the 16th and both 17th Karmapa's
totally wrong in their views about King Dorje Shugden.

We must all thank the 16th Karmapa and both 17th Karmapas for their PRO Dorje Shugden stance.

We must thank all of them for having the courage to stand up against the evil 14th Dalai Lama.
