Press Release

?DALAI LAMA AND HIS FOLLOWERS ?BEEF UP ATTACK ON DORJE SHUGDEN?? FOLLOWERS

1. By attacking physically and trying to eliminate the followers of Dorje Shugden.

2. By bribing and convincing people to not follow Dorje Shugden.

3. Trying to divide Shugden followers and get them to infiltrate and divide by spreading rumors. For one example, in Tibet Autonomous Region, Tengsheng District Sertsa-shang village Shugden follower Kunchok Thargyal, 22, on September 28, 2014 afternoon was on a mountain gathering dung   for his firewood. When he was returning from his work the three men met him in a remote area and attacked him. He was stabbed multiple times.  They stoned and stabbed him many times. They assumed he was dead. Fortunately he survived and is now in critical condition in a Lhasa hospital fighting for his life.?The team leader and perpetrator is directly linked and connected to the Dalai Lama and his organization in India.  His monk name is Nawang Tenlay.  His lay name was Dawa Tendruk.  He was trained in Drepung Loseyling, Lohpa Khangtsen in South India the monastery where Dalai Lama gave the first statement ostracizing and banning all religious and material pertaining to Dorje Shugden.  Also he promoted religious persecution and segregation. Two other young Tibetans, Oyo Tsering and Wopa contributed to the attack, following the direction of Nawang Tenlay.

This is the picture of Kunchok Thargay in Lhasa hospital fighting for his life
Local authorities seemed not too concerned with the attacking and murdering of Shugden followers.  They even ordered the victim’s family to not mention it was about religious conflict and also not talking to higher authorities.  They were perhaps trying to protect the Dalai Lama’s image.?After a few days the perpetrators were arrested and held by local police with minimum security.  Even they could go outside and party and celebrate with local friends and visit with other Dalai Lama followers.?One of the Dorje Shugden followers Thamchoe Nyema, who lives in Boston, Massachusetts, was previously one of the Dorje Shugden community members.  All of a sudden he was infiltrating the community and he called an old friend and said the Dalai Lama would give him support to buy a house in Nepal or help with a monastery in Mongolia.  He offered house and money and assistance with all these things if he abandoned support of the Dorje Shugden group.  He starts conversations with old friends and creates gossip and rumor among Shugden followers and secretly records the conversations.  He then posts this material on YouTube as Boston Real Tibetan Talk.  It was very well met and funded.?Westerners and Tibetan donors give money to the Dalai Lama and his organization give money for this good cause. The Dalai Lama uses the money to eliminate and suppress and harass other Tibetans.?Please support and join the protest against these actions at Vancouver, Canada Birmingham, Alabama, New Jersey, Boston, Massachusetts, and New York City.   This is organized by the International Shugden Community.

This is so typical and predictable by the anti Dorje Shugden people, when they cannot win arguments online or on social media they resort to violence. How can any such actions accord with buddhism?

To coerce others to one's position through guile and bribery is certainly another low that CTA and its people have sunk deeper to. It is quite despicable that they are resorting to violence and bribery up to this extent. What the buddha mentioned 2600 years ago is so precise buddhism is destroyed from within. If any of these actions is deemed buddhist in nature I think many buddhist will choose agnosticism. We need to be more vigilant and report all threats that is being perpetrated by CTA.

These perpetrators are utterly insane and have wrong views.  Such despicable act by the Dalai Lama followers must be condenmed!  It is barbaric and extremely brutal!  Have the followers of the Dalai Lama become Talibanists Buddhists?

I have tweeted and FB this news and I hope all my friends will join me to tweet and share to bring awareness to the world of the suffering Shugden Buddhists have to face because of the Dalai Lama's ban.  The twitter and FB will serve us well and fast.

It breaks my heart to see this picture of Kunchok Thargay in Lhasa hospital fighting for his life.  I appeal everyone to pray and dedicate to his swift recovery.  May he be well, may Lord Dorje Shugden take good care of him.

i don't understand which part of Buddhism that would encourage the practitioners to incite violence and cause others to suffer. If we based on this fact alone, we should conclude that the CTA is spreading the distorted buddhism, and therefore CTA should be outcast?

The ban/discrimination MUST BE STOPPED!

Violent act of the CTA and followers of Dalai Lama is not the act of compassion. It caused a lot of suffering and pain on the Dorje Shudgen practitioners. Only uncivilised people or animals will use violent to resolve problems. Civilised people will use peaceful way to do it, like what Dalai Lama has said :

“Non-violence means dialogue, using our language, the human language. Dialogue means compromise; respecting each other’s rights; in the spirit of reconciliation there is a real solution to conflict and disagreement. There is no hundred percent winner, no hundred percent loser—not that way but half-and-half. That is the practical way, the only way.”

All these violent acts have to be stopped and Dalai Lama is the one to stop it. If need to have a dialogue for this, please do so. Solve the problem using the human way and live daily life with lots of love, compassion and respect.

Lift the BAN.

Buddhism had never advocated violence, killing, bribery, divisive speech, schism, and wrong views to name a few such negative effects arising from the ban on Dorje Shugden!  It is despicable for the Dalai Lama followers to resort to such acts of violence and negativities! These three Tibetans who had attacked Kunchok Thargay had lost their conscience and had been misguided by the ban on Dorje Shugden.  How could Dalai Lama and the Central Tibetan Administration still remain unaffected by these crimes and the enormous harms and sufferings that the Tibetan Dorje Shugden followers had experienced since the advent of the ban? Do Dalai Lama and CTA wish to witness more injuries, bloodsheds and deaths of innocent Tibetans who merely want religious freedom? Please lift the ban NOW! Let the Tibetan Dorje Shugden followers live a normal and peaceful lives free from the ban.

This act of violence is getting out of hand and these anti-Shugden bunch are becoming more daring due to they are using a ban as an excuse to hurt or even commit such a act which was forbidden in any form of religion which is murder. Just because Dalai Lama is banning the practice, doesn't mean that one can use this excuse for license to kill. It is so sinful for them to this and moreover they claimed and call themselves a Buddhist practitioners.

There have always been violence against Dorje Shugden practitioners since the beginning of the ban.  To end the violence is to lift the ban so there be peace and there is no doubt about this.

Watch this video how violence are associated with the Shugden ban : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvPbXYTW5pw&list=UUNCM1cy2mdcZLcUIIyMzbbQ

It is a shame that the Dalai Lama followers are behaving in this barbaric manner. Would any Buddhist behave in this manner? Are they following his teachings to practice compassion. They have bowed so low and resorted to violence and bribery to solve the problems and prove they are right. This is such negative and sinful act which is contradictory to Buddha's teachings. The Dalai Lama should put a stop to this before more DS practitioners are abused and killed. LIFT THE BAN!

"American police break up bouts of violence against protestors by Dalai Lama supporters asking for religious freedom. Tibetans paid by the CTA to incite opposition in order to counter the peaceful protests of the Shugden worshippers. The kindly police officer shouts “What’s this suppose to be? I’m not playing knock it off.” It was only with the interception of the police could the violent Dalai Lama supporters stopped.

His Holiness Dalai Lama recently began a teaching tour of North America as part of his endeavor to promote peace, love and compassion encapsulated at the core of Buddhist teaching. But did his talks have those results? The tour led His Holiness to Vancouver, Birmingham, Boston and New York City, where lawful protests against the Dorje Shugden ban took place outside the teaching venues. During these peaceful protests by people asking for the ban against Shugden to be lifted, bouts of violence erupted yet again between protesters airing their right of freedom of speech and supporters of the ban, which infringes on everyone’s indelible right to religious freedom.

Violence is turning out to be a common occurrence at these protests, as the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) continues to incite Tibetans who attend His Holiness’ teachings to vehemently adhere to policies of religious discrimination against the lawfully present and peaceful protestors. It has come to light that the CTA are themselves supporting these violent outbursts by paying pro-CTA supporters to attend these events. The CTA’s policies betray a complete lack of democratic ideology and is reminiscent of a backward government bent on suppressing its own people, to secure its power upon the religious sphere.

Rather than transforming their minds after attending His Holiness’ teachings on compassion and kindness, the perpetrators of violence show their vulgarity by attacking and making rude hand gestures towards protestors in support of the CTA. Why is the Dalai Lama not asking his followers to refrain from vulgarity, violence and public disorderly conduct? As long as the discriminatory ban against Shugden remains intact, both the protests and the violence against protestors are set to continue, dividing practitioners of the same lineage and increasing in intensity. When the CTA or Tibetan Leadership state that this ban creates no discrimination or division within the Tibetan community, this starkly contrasts what can be clearly seen at these protests. The ban has created a divide within the Tibetan community, one that is marred by outright discrimination, violence and vulgarity. The divide within the Tibetan community is worsening and the Dalai Lama can stop this with a single statement, that the ban is lifted. Freedom to worship without discrimination restored.

We appeal to those who have attended the teachings, and will attend teachings in the future to take the precious Buddhist teachings to heart and not follow the politically motivated and archaic rule of the CTA, but to practice compassion and kindness. Write in to the Central Tibetan Administration for the illegal ban against Dorje Shugden to be lifted now."

One after another violence to the Shugden practitioners. The CTA are not practicing any compassion or peace as taught by His Holiness Dalai Lama.
We really need someone like dorjeshugden.com that can reveal what’s happening and the truth to the world so that more people will be aware of how much sufferings and discrimination towards the Shudgen practitioners. The ban needs to be ended soon.
I sincerely request dorjeshugden.com to continue with the website and forum so that we can together be the cause to end the ban and spread the teachings of Manjushri.

"Buddha preaches love and compassion. If the Buddha is there, he will protect the Muslims whom the Buddhists are attacking," said by Dalai Lama during one of his visit to Northern India. What is the essence of this speech where, Dalai Lama as a Spiritual Leader of Tibet is unable to maintain harmony and good relations amongst his own fellow countrymen!! The CTA is at a desperate stage and in order to achieve absolute power and in control of the ban of DS, they have no other choice/s but to kill and harm those aggressive DS practitioners . Please stop all this violence, ever since the ban imposed, DS practitioners have already experienced tremendous suffering, unpleasantness and unhappiness. Hatred, anger, violence and aggression never solve problem!!

This is one of the reasons why the ban must be lifted, to stop innocent people from being hurt or killed. I rejoice tremendously with the latest news that the Admin behind dorjeshugden.com decided to keep it open after receiving many appreciation letters and support from so many Shugdenpas and lamas, the latest being the letter from Kyabje Trijang Choktrul Rinpoche.

Thanks for highlighting this issue. It is nothing new but the intent is murderous. We cannot stop being critical and against these actions. The authorities, CTA, did not voice their stand on these matters says how much their devotion to ethics and principles. How can we be sure that this or that practice suddenly becomes 'bad' out of the wimp what CTA think or 'voted'? One cannot be safe under the rule of such a mentality. A government that support violence is no government.

If Mahatma Gandhi can work so hard for India with non-violence, if Nelson Mandela can accept his jail term of 27 years for his South Africa and work with non-violence eventually and Aung San Suu Kyi can put up with 20 years of house arrest for freedom in Myanmar with non-violence, can not the Tibetans especially the students and followers of the Dalai Lama, a Nobel Peace prize winner for Peace, advocate non-violence as well? Why is it that the secular leaders cn advocate non-violence but a spiritual leader not say anything against violence? OM MANI PEDME HUM
