Wow wow! Now the Dalai Lama said Tibet will not seek independence from China! And, H.H said it is decided since 2008!  How exciting this news is...

Below is the news
Dalai Lama says no to independence, yes to cultural preservation
The Dalai Lama spoke to youth leaders from around the world at United States Institute of Peace, in India

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The Dalai Lama said Tibet will not seek independence but asked the Chinese government to respect Tibetan cultural traditions, at the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) youth leaders’ dialogue in India, reported the Voice of America (VOA) Chinese, according to CNA.

The Dalai Lama said Tibet had decided not to seek independence from China since 2008, as living in harmony is the better option. He also noted that, in reality, independence is just a political phrase, CNA reported him as saying.

The Dalai Lama said at the event on Oct. 23-24 that since Tibet exists within China’ borders, it is therefore part of China from a political perspective. He added that since China’s constitution refers to Tibetan areas in China, all Tibetans in China have a right to preserve their own culture and language.

The Dalai Lama said the situation of some Chinese hardliners attempting to eliminate Tibetan culture and language is changing. Also, he added, many Chinese people have started to show an interest in Tibetan culture, CNA reported.

_______________

In this article, it is clearly stated that H.H Dalai Lama have not supported on Tibet Independence since 2008. How weird, and why did CTA goes against H.H Dalai Lama and still use "Free Tibet" as propaganda to tell the world that Tibet has to be freed from China?
Also in the article, It is said that Chinese People show interest in Tibetan culture. If the China government would like to eliminate Tibetan culture, why would and how would the Chinese people still shown interest to know more about Tibetan culture?

I think as times goes by, lies created by CTA is getting more ridiculous, thus, we can see that many countries is no longer support CTA. When Dalai Lama gone, what will happened to CTA? Or what will happened to the Tibetan refugees in India? CTA, many of them have backup plan, some of them are even the citizen of the other countries, at the end, who suffered the most- nonetheless, the Tibetan refugees in exile. Hope these people see their situation and awake and no longer been puppet of CTA to use by CTA to get more fund and fill their own pocket.

It's sad that only Dalai Lama will not seek independence. CTA, on the other hand, keeps irritating the Chinese and obviously they don't want to return to Tibet. CTA knows that once they return to Tibet, they can't do anything and will be controlled by the Chinses. CTA would rather sacrifice Dalai Lama and Tibetans wish to go back to Tibet.

In order for Dalai Lama to return to Tibetan, Dalai Lama has to approach the Chinese by himself with his Ladrang. No hope with CTA and it is time to change the people that only looking after their own interest.

The Dalai Lama has always wanted the Middle Way approach. He said under the Chinese ruling, Tibet is now getting more prosperity. The Chinese government provides funding and invested a lot in Tibet to stimulate the economy in Tibet and to improve the quality of life in Tibet. The Dalai Lama also encourages Tibetans to go back to China. But the CTA does not listen to the Dalai Lama, they are still talking about independence and they go against the wish of the Dalai Lama. The CTA wants Tibetans to continue to be stateless so they can continue to use Tibetan plight to make more money for themselves.

So why has the CTA not follow the Dalai Lama's advice? Is the CTA against the Dalai Lama? So the CTA does not listen to the Dalai Lama? So what is the CTA good for besides asking the world to donate to their cause and using the Dalai Lama's name for it?

I heard the Dalai Lama is sick and wants to return to China desperately but why does the CTA do nothing but create conflict and puch China away from dealing with them? Have not learnt that the only way to handle things with China is to at least stop annoying them? But I guess they don't want to work with China and hence that is why they will never get what they want.

The CTA will not go for the Middle way approach. Why? If there is no more Tibet issue, the CTA will not have anything to victimise themselves in order to get free money from the public. The Tibetan plight has been the best money making tool for the CTA. Because of the Tibet issue, the CTA did not have to work hard for money for the past 60 years.
