The number of Tibetan in exile are decreasing and soon the number will hit zero and Tibetan leadership will have to find a new group of people that are willing to subject to their exploitation and still loyal to them. It is already unbelievable that Tibetan leadership still manage to exist even after they lost their country. They are the only government in the whole world that existed without a physical country.

Over the years, they have failed their promise to bring Tibetans back to Tibet over and over again. The Tibetans in exile are disappointed and start to fight for their future elsewhere. Many of them migrate overseas and many of them have better or successful lives than those who stayed back in India.

The old generation that escaped from Tibet is dying because it has been 60 years since they fled Tibet. Soon, the Tibetans that are fighting for Tibetan cause will be a generation that never even stepped foot in Tibet before. They are just a bunch of youngsters who are brainwashed by the Tibetan leadership to do their bidding including killing themselves. Soon, Tibetan leadership who exploits everything around them for their own benefit will run out of Tibetans to exploit because the world is moving on and it is foolish to think Tibetans will forever be the donkey that listens to every word they say.

The CTA will not get stronger but only weaker as time passes. It is amazing how they can survive for the past 60 years. People support their cause not because they really care about human rights but because they want to create problem and obstacle to China so China will not grow rapidly and become the most powerful country in the world.

The western power has always found China to be a threat to them. For the past centuries, the western power has colonised many Asian countries and exploited the local and natural resources to make themselves rich. If China becomes strong, it means the whole Asia region will become strong. The west will lose their bargaining power and they have to kowtow to China. This is something they don't want to.

Therefore, in the effort to jeopardise China, Tibet issue is the best tool the west can use to create trouble for China. The west has given a lot of money to the CTA hoping that they can continue to create trouble for China. The CTA does create some degree of trouble but not enough to create huge unrest in China. As the economy in the west is getting weaker now, they will not have more money to invest in the CTA. Very soon the CTA will become history.

This is an extremely good sign that Free Tibet movement is already declining and soon it will only be a stupid idea that can never be achieved. Now that China has already invested too much into Tibet, there is no chance for China to give Independent. It is far too late to fight for Tibet's independence because it has been 60 years already. Tibetan leadership should had put in much more effort in the earlier days.

Tibetans in Tibet are certainly having a better life compared to Tibetans who are in India right now. Chinese government treats the Tibetans in Tibet so well that they manage to eradicate poverty down to 7% and soon they will be able to help everybody to get out of poverty. Seem like Tibetans are in much better hands now compared to the time when Tibetan leadership is leading Tibet.

Soon, there will be no more Tibetan in exile for the Tibetan leadership to use and manipulate. they will have to close down and that will be the best scenario for everyone because the very existence of CTA is to harm and never to benefit the people around them. That is why they could not even bother to fight for Tibet’s independence. All they do is some surface work to look good but there is nothing inside.

Even though the Tibetans might be the luckiest refugees in the world, they are also the most unfortunate ones in the world. They are allowed to have their own government in India who is supposed to take care of their welfare but their government only exploit them. The CTA has no intention to give a better future to the Tibetans and they want the Tibetans to continue to remain as refugees so that the CTA can get free money from the donors.

For the past 60 years, the CTA has received millions and millions of dollars from the west but no one knows where did the money go. No other refugees in the world have received so much financial aid. Most of the refugees after a few years would have been accepted by different countries and given the citizenship but for the Tibetans, this is just a dream. The CTA does not want them to become a citizen of another country.

No one likes to remain as refugees or someone without an identity but the CTA does not care. Many Tibetans have realised how the CTA is using them, as a result, they migrate to overseas, go back to Tibet or just integrate and become the citizen of India. As more negative news about the CTA surfaces, they will lose more credibility and trust from the people. Sooner or later, the CTA will collapse, they might not even survive for the next 5 years!

CTA has not done anything beneficial to the Tibetans in exile community or Tibetans in Tibet for the past 60 years. They only create pain and suffering to the normal Tibetans while they are the only people who benefitted financially. The Tibetan leadership only care for themselves, this is the culture, it has been like this since in the old Tibet days.

For the Tibetans in the exile community, they have the first-hand experience with the CTA and it is not pleasant. 20 years ago, CTA imposed the Dorje Shugden ban. The ban did not bring Tibetans closer or more united, it actually creates so much tension in the Tibetan community. The ban also did not to improve the progress of the Tibet cause. In short, the ban only harms the Tibetan community than doing any good.

If CTA is a good government, they will evaluate the result of the ban and it is very clear to see the ban brings no benefit but harm. They will immediately lift the ban, resolve the conflict and unite the Tibetans. As long as they don't do that, more Tibetans will leave the exile community as they have completely lost their confidence in CTA.

The drop in numbers is not really a shocking news. The drop is totally reasonable because the Tibetans government has not been doing a good job ever since they set foot in India. It has been 60 years since China's invasion and CTA has not been able to make any significant progress on getting back their country. Tibetans are getting hopeless and desperate and many of them chose to abandon their government.

The old Tibetans will die and the young Tibetans are leaving India to foreign countries. Many young Tibetans had proven to the world that with the proper education and chance, they are able to excel in whatever they want to do. The reason why they are failing in India is because of their government are not giving them the chance and also the help.

Now that China had transformed Tibet so much, it is actually not so bad for them to go back to Tibet after all. Soon, when Tibetans in exile are all gone, CTA will have to close down. That is the best thing ever to happened to the CTA because they are just a nuisance to the Tibetans. They are not helping their own people at all and keep creating problems for them for their own benefit. It is better for CTA to not exist at all.

You are right! China has invested so much into Tibet to improve the lives of the people there. Life is now so much easier and the possibilities of ownership are the norm. Feudalism under the Tibetan Leaders is contrary to what Tibetans are enjoying under China's rule. It is really not surprising anymore that the refugees in camps are getting lesser and lesser, as more migrate to other countries and lesser Tibetans are leaving China. Who in their right mind would go into poverty rather than remain in the richness of China?

The fact that the population of Tibetan refugees in India is dwindling shows that there is no real future for Tibetans who wish to remain the refugees. In fact, by remaining refugees, they became just objects for the CTA to parade to the sponsors to attract more donation.

The Tibetans should make a choice either to go back to China or assimilate with the local population should they wish to live outside China. By doing so, they can at least move on with their lives with dignity.

The drop of the Tibetans in the exile community is a clear indication that:

1. Tibetans have lost their hope in the CTA and they have moved on to migrate to other countries, became Indian citizens or they have returned to Tibet.
2. Tibetans in Tibet knows that life in Tibet is much better than in India now, they are not so stupid to give up their comfortable lives to come to suffer in India.
3. The Dalai Lama has lost his political influence on the Tibetans.  People may still respect him as a high lama but not in secular matters.

As the number of Tibetans is dropping, the CTA will soon lose its function as the leadership because there will be not enough people to manage. When this happens, the CTA will have to dissolve and no one will suffer anymore.

Soon there will be no Tibetans for the Tibetan government to rule over and they will have to close down. It will not be long considering the amount of Tibetans leaving India to Tibet or foreign countries. Tibetans are able to see that it will be better for them to leave their government. Tibet has been great under the ruling of China and Tibetans there has stop escaping to India. They see the benefit of staying back in Tibet and the bad condition that they will have to face in India. Tibetans are also leaving for foreign countries and a lot of them are already successful in building up a new life. There is really no point in staying with the Tibetan government because there will be nothing for them in the end.

In fact the Tibetans have made their choice. The drastic drop in the number of refugees is a big proof. With less and less Tibetans coming from Tibet, and more and more Tibetans migrating out, what is there still left for the CTA? What are they still fighting for?  What fake promises can they give now to cheat on their own people? Tibetans might be innocent, but they are not stupid. The number is a big disapproval to the CTA and it's irreversible.

The article below speaks about Tibetans who have returned to Tibet on their own. They returned to the motherland and happy to be monitored by the Chinese. These Tibetans are known as 'returnees' and are said to have an advantage over those who remain in India or those who have never left Tibet. This is a very good incentive scheme given by the Chinese.

What struck me was there was no mention of the Dalai Lama which clearly shows that the new generation is just looking for careers and livelihoods.

Excerpt:

Quote
"Akam has partnered with three friends to set up a restaurant and is doing well for himself. He doesn’t regret leaving India, where, according to him, opportunities for Tibetans are limited.

The reverse is also true. Many young people head to India in hope of a better life, but are bitterly disappointed like a 20- something man -- we will call him Gyantse – I met in Dharamsala in 2015.

Gyantse was a receptionist at a hotel and also an assistant to a travel agent. Money was poor but there was little he could do. He had dropped out of the Tibetan Transit School (TTS) in Dharamsala, set up to help the young make the transition and pick up livelihood skills".

Seriously, who still want to believe in CTA? For the past 60 years they failed to deliver any result. The Tibetans are still refugees and their future is very uncertain. Not only that, the CTA is very corrupted, they siphoned the money that was meant for the Tibetans and they always fight among themselves for petty issues. They don't really care about the welfare of the Tibetans.

If we look at the Tibetans in Tibet, their lives are so much better than those in India. They are not discriminated against by their government and they enjoy the same rights as other Chinese citizens. As long as they are hardworking, there are plenty of opportunities for them to improve their lives.

Since the CTA  is so incapable and many have lost their hope in the CTA, it is not surprising to see the declining number of Tibetans in India. Many Tibetans borrow a large amount of money just to migrate overseas, it is more hopeful when they don't have to rely on the CTA. Tibetans in Tibet are not as naive as before, they also realise the Chinese government can give them more than what CTA can provide. Sooner or late, CTA will have to be dissolved.

It is true that many young people traveled to India hoping to get a better life there but what they get instead are disappointments, poverty, and more hardships. There are books written about this and one of them will be "Two more years" by Tendar Tsering that clearly tell us his hardship and his let down when he traveled to India hoping to get a better life and education.

There is so much of disappointment in the situation in India that a lot of them diverted their path to foreign countries instead. They rather risk their lives in another country than staying with their own government which they are familiar with. That speaks volumes about what is the situation in India.

Other than that, there are many examples of successful Tibetans who manage to make it overseas. It is a proven fact that Tibetans are better off elsewhere than couped up in the Tibetan settlements in India. This is the reason why the number of Tibetans are decreasing drastically over the years and CTA is not doing anything to retain them other than imposing harsher rules and regulation to stop them from leaving. Soon, there will be no Tibetans in Exile for them to govern over and they will have to close down.
