This is a very meaningful and beautiful image. Having the guru image with the yidam as one which is what we meditate daily. I believe many Lama Yeshe students still continue practicing Dorje Shugden and follow his instruction all the way. We can see the outcome of people break the samaya with their Guru and in this case with Lama Yeshe, very obvious the return of Lama Yeshe which is now Lama Osel is not returning to FPMT.

Why? Isn't this is a big question to ask for? FPMT is not a small Buddhist organization and Lama Yeshe a devoted Dorje Shugden practitioner make took his rebirth swiftly to come back but unfortunately, the students don't create the merits for him to return to FPMT. The students renounce his guru practice which is the same as renouncing his Guru. With such heavy broken samaya how can Lama Osel return?

There is every logic behind why Lama Osel unable to return. Let's think it over.

The image is beautiful and FPMT students are blessed to have such an image where their Guru and protector is one. I rejoice for whoever that did this artwork. It is such a shame to see FPMT go down like this. It used to be a good dharma centre when Lama Yeshe is around and it was a beautiful community of spiritual dharma brother and sisters.

Since Lama Yeshe passed away and the implementation of Dorje Shugden ban, the senior students of FPMT decided that they would abandon Dorje Shugden practice to be politically correct and on the Dalai Lama's side. I wonder if the senior students in FPMT read 50 Stanza on Guru Devotion at all. Since they broke their Samaya with their guru by abandoning the sacred practice, there will be no attainments of improvement in their spiritual practice.

The broken samaya can be seen clearly and the current incarnation of Lama Yeshe, Lama Osel has been manifesting signs such as straying away from dharma and FPMT. He prefers a secular life over monk hood and also shows signs that he is not interested in Dharma. If FPMT continues like this, they will soon lose their teacher and the organisation will not have lineage blessings from the gury.

Yes, this is a beautiful artwork of Lama Yeshe as one with Dorje Shugden whom he practiced fervently during his lifetime and had gained so much to leave the legacy that he did at his time of passing. The disciple must have been a devoted student with pure samaya to be able to create such a devotional piece to his Guru. It is such a shame that Lama Yeshe in his love for his students reincarnated so swiftly (Lama Osel) and in the form that will better serve them, to face such rejection to his teachings and practices. It is no wonder that Lama Osel decided to see secular life as teaching to them. Hopefully, they grasp the enormity of their actions before all is lost, especially before the passing of LZR, who is the connecting factor.

It is really heart-warming to know that there is still someone who did not give up Dorje Shugden practice and keep his commitment with Lama Yeshe. Lama Yeshe worked so hard to build Kopan Monastery with the assistance from Dorje Shugden but his students gave up the practice just to look good and so they can have an easy life.

Not only did they give up the practice, they also criticise how bad Dorje Shugden practice is forgetting how Dorje Shugden had helped them to manifest their Dharma centre. After Dagri Rinpoche's sex scandal is exposed, we can clearly see how corrupted and hypocritical FPMT is, they are slowly going downhill.

By giving up Dorje Shugden practice, they have broken their samaya with Lama Yeshe and also lost the blessings from the lama. They are starting to suffer from the consequence now, more negative consequence will come, they better be prepared for it.

Looking at how FPMT degenerated after they have abandoned Dorje Shugden practice, I wonder if Dorje Shugden practice really is bad for us? In their case, it seems like FPMT is better when they are still practising Dorje Shugden. I guess it must be the manifestation of the negative karma resulted from their broken samaya.

Lama Yeshe is the founder of FPMT and he is a renowned Dorje Shugden practitioner. After he passed into the clear light, Dorje Shugden ban was implemented and FPMT decided that they will abandon the practice. Hence, they broke their samaya with Lama Yeshe by stopping a practice that he gave them without requesting for it to be stopped.

The karma has come back to FPMT now as the new incarnation of Lama Yeshe is not showing interested in spiritual practice and he will probably leave FPMT very soon if they don't mend their samaya quick enough. This is the price of choosing samsaric benefits over one's teacher.

I found FPMT to be quite commercialised. Did you know they charge USD5000 for a course? This is a lot of money. If they are set up to spread and preserve Dharma, shouldn't they consider charging less? Not everyone can afford to pay so much for a class.

To give up the practice given to them by Lama Yeshe is a form of broken Samaya. If the Samaya is broken,
they are many things that we can't do because there is no more lama's blessing.

FPMT gave up Dorje Shugden practice so they can be politically correct and things will be easier for them. For their own comfort, they can betray their teacher and their spiritual practice. This is a very bad behaviour and example set for other spiritual practitioners.

Speaking of Lama Osel, did you know he has a website? https://one-big-love.com/?fbclid=IwAR2zkbLeT608P5H6SLkPZVQtJOVJ38x9l_LX2uFlrS37D9JXK4v95BSZfFM

Apparently, he has an alternative way of teaching... in the Land of Medicine Buddha... isn't that FPMT? This is what you get if you decide to go there for some teachings...

Lama Osel is more like a new-age instructor than a Buddhist master now. He is not really teaching Buddhism but meditation to the public. The students of FPMT have broken their Samaya with Lama Osel, that is why he is not going back to continue to turn the wheel of Dharma.

Maybe it is because he wants to protect people, knowing not many people will understand what guru devotion is, it is probably better not to have any spiritual student. Hence, Lama Osel turns to using new age way to teach people about our mind and be responsible to beings around us.

It is such a pity that in this current life, Lama Osel is not able to manifest as a great Buddhist teacher. Students in FPMT should really look into why they are not able to get their teacher back to the centre to teach. Lama Zopa is also getting older, he needs a successor to continue to manage and lead FPMT.
