Let's join forces
« on: March 09, 2014, 06:13:04 PM »
One of ISC's member kindly sent the admin this picture. As we all know, DS.com made a contribution to the latest Washington protest so that the ISC can provide some snacks and hot drinks for their participants. It is really amazing to see them prepare so much within just a few days before the demonstration.

We also received a thank you note from them: "Thank you to DS.com for the snacks! We started at 5.30am and it was so cold! But everyone was so happy regardless - as you can see from the FB photos."

Truly rejoice that with our small donation, the demonstrators can feel a little bit more comfortable, most importantly, we want to show our gratitude to the members of ISC for their continuous effort in bringing down the ban and we're glad that our feeling of gratitude can manifest in this manner.

In the earlier 4 day demonstrations, we heard that the weather was so hot in California that some of the ISC members suffered mild sun burns for standing out there for such long hours! They also chanted for hours after hours. Such firm determination, it is for sure an act of pure Guru Devotion towards their teacher Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

May we all work hard together to bring the ban down as soon as possible!

They have to tolerate the cold and hot weather while here we are sitting in the comfort of our homes watching the demonstration from Youtube videos. Without their effort people would not be aware the ban is still on going and much care less. It is very inspiring to see them braving themselves in direct sight of security personnels.

From my impression demonstration usually are anger some but I cannot sense any anger when the cameras get close up to the demonstrators. In fact they seems to be chanting happily? Even the spokesperson for Shugden group is explaining things in a calmly and confident manner.

This is fabulous news! It is always good to know that Dharma brothers and sisters of our same lineage are helping one another and rejoicing in positive action and care. There is always a way to show you care in action. No one is telepathic haha or at least even if they are they won't show it. It's just genuine human kindness and warmth if we really mean what we say that we love and care for our protector and lineage. Thank you Ds.com for showing us great examples of Dharma in action as always.

It is beautiful to see so many devoted to their Guru Geshela and our lineage through this protest, i rejoice for that, those who can help should go out there and help. Those who are good in technology but do not have the funds to do it, should do what they can by spreading the news. Like this we all work hand in hand to bring this awareness out to the world in regards to this "illegal" ban on "human rights". Not just for Dorje Shugden, I believe it speaks also for all religion and faiths. No one has the right to tell us what we pray to is right or wrong, spirit or not is NOT THE POINT. And it has nothing to do with politics here, just simple HUMAN RIGHTS that's being abused here.

This is wonderful news! By joining forces, more people will be able aware of what's going on and that in this modern day and time, people are still deprived of their rights to practice their own faith.

Thanks to DS.com for supporting the devoted practitioners who braved the cold and hot weather to protest. May the ban be lifted soon! May there be religious freedom!

[Besides having to tolerate the extreme weather, I was told that many of the protestors flew in from all over the world at their own expense. Such is the devotion of the Shugden practitioners. Shugdenpas do not believe in violence hence the peaceful demonstration. Unlike the methods used by the anti-Shugden group. @Q u made a very interesting point, that if all parties who are opposing and working hard to oppose the ban then the ban can come down faster. Yeah i feel excited to know different elements of the Gelugpa faith working in tandem and cooperate, then Je Tsongkhapa's tradition will be blazing across the world and galaxy in the future.

And the demonstrations kudos to the ISC, well organised and not giving a negative image to what they are doing rejoice in the organiser. in 2008 it was a different world then, due to Dorje Shugden blessing seems like many things are changing towards Dorje Shugden and the demonstration this is nice silver lining.

I am really happy to hear that DS.com has made a contribution to the Washington protest.
The people in the protest are out there protesting peacefully for  the Dorje Shugden Ban to be lifted, since it is cold there we can help by giving out hot drinks and snacks for the people, because after all we are all part of the same religion so why not assist them?

Thank you DS.com for putting an effort to aid the people pressuring the Dalai Lama to end the ban.

DS.com has always moeved to help wherever they could to make a difference be it contribution for peaceful protects or with dissemination of information. Though this post is 2 years old, it does bit detract from the fact that they did help to make the protectors a bit warmer and comfortable during the protects.

Thanks again.

Thank you to all the kind souls at DS.com. Your team have always put in such great efforts to bring down the ban on Dorje Shugden practice. I share the gratitude of many practitioners around the world in your perseverance in facing many false accusations thrown at your organization. Through your dissemination of information and facts, we are confident that we are not doing our practice blindly. Please continue on until the ban is lifted, so that the hatred and discrimination towards the marginalized Shugdenpas is eradicated.

It is nice to read and be reminded of the various contributions by the dedicated team of DS.com in addition to their primary contribution in the objective dissemination of information and facts about Dorje Shugden. Despite the trials and tribulations that the team have to face, they rolled with the punches and forge on until today premised upon the goal of carrying on the lineage, and providing information and inspiration for those with an affinity to Dharmapala Dorje Shugden. Again, a big thank you and to echo what Tenzin Malgyur said, "please continue on until the ban is lifted".

First and foremost, thank you DS.com for making a contribution towards the participants of the Washington protest so that the ISC can provide them with hot drinks and snacks.

While most of us around the world are warm and comfy in our own homes, these participants are out in the freezing Washington weather as well as burning hot weather in California  to fight for the rights of not just for themselves but for all Shugden practitioners so that the ban on the practice of Dorje Shugden can quickly be lifted.

Thank you Q for sharing!
