Unveiling of Buddha draws Tibetan Faithfuls and Tourists

Tashilhunpo Monastery in Xigaze the seat of Panchen Lamas who strongly proliferates the practice of Dorje Shugden witnessed a huge crowd of ten of thousands followers at their unveiling of Buddha Thangka recently.   This is another stronghold of Shugden practitioners in Tibet besides Chatreng which recently had 400,000 steadfast Shugden followers turning up at the the Monlam Festival in Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche’s Sampheling Monastery in Chatreng, Tibet.

Tens of thousands of Gelug School Buddhist believers will attend the activity, during which they pray for auspices while worshipping three large-scale Thangkas portraying discrete Buddhas.
