Next Dalai Lama May Be Female
« on: March 19, 2014, 02:58:44 PM »
This is interesting! I agree with HHDL, I too believe that women are far more sensitive and compassionate compared to men. I remember some time ago, HHDL mentioned this before and I found this news dated back to September 2011. I wonder how will it be like to have a female Dalai Lama.

China reviles the Dalai Lama as a separatist, although the Nobel Peace Prize laureate insists he is only seeking increased autonomy for Tibet. Beijing has left little doubt that it intends to be deeply involved in choosing the next Dalai Lama. That concern has led the current Dalai Lama to contemplate ideas that break with the ancient system in which each dead Dalai Lama is reincarnated in the body of a male child.

China insists that religious law requires that the Dalai Lama’s reincarnation be born in a Tibetan area under Chinese control. However, the Dalai Lama has said his successor will be born in exile and has even floated the idea of choosing his own successor while still alive – perhaps even a woman.
China, though, isn’t likely to back down.

Dalai Lama: Women Better Leaders Because Of Potential For Compassion; Next Dalai Lama May Be Female

The Dalai Lama weighed in on the debate around women leadership and came out firmly on the side of the female.

Talking to reporters during a visit to Australia, the Buddhist leader was asked to weigh in on gender during a race for Prime Minister that has included charges of sexism.

Speaking generally, the Dalai Lama suggested that the crisis of suffering and inequality in the world requires a compassionate approach to leadership:

"In that respect, biologically, females have more potential... Females have more sensitivity about others' wellbeing. In my own case, my father, very short temper. On a few occasions I also got some beatings. But my mother was so wonderfully compassionate."
The exiled Tibeten Buddhist leader then applied the same logic to his eventual successor; reaffirming that a female Dalai Lama is possible.

"If the circumstances are such that a female Dalai Lama is more useful, then automatically a female Dalai Lama will come."

In whatever hell the current, evil dalai may take his uncontrolled and compulsive rebirth, as a male, female or hermaphrodite, to experience the results of his evil actions, including those of immediate retribution, such as causing schism within the Sangha, the next Dalai Lama, if any, will be the one so designated by China in consultation with the Panchen Lama, which is the best thing to happen anyway, so as to avoid the disastrous choices of corrupt politician-lamas, as in the case of the Muslim boy which became the current, evil ”dalai”.

The Dalai Lama's obsession with assuming a female role is hardly the outcome of any noble, anti-patriarchal attitude. This would be inconsistent with his tyrannic, control-freak, super-macho psychopathic profile.

Therefore, the Dalai Lama's transsexual compulsion would be better understood in the context of his split personality syndrom, also known as ”Jekyll and Hyde personality”.

Indeed, while to Western audiences the Dalai Lama shows the facade of the congenial supercool tolerant peaceful saint, to his unfortunate Tibetan subjects he shows the reality of his brutal intolerance.

As already argued elsewhere, this double personality disorder, usually resulting from early childhood sexual traumas, might be the result of the little Dalai's relationship with his sexually perverted early childhood tutor, the vow-breaking monk known as Reting.

Indeed, the Dalai Lama shows extreme tenderness to this debauched character Reting, only commensurate with the extreme hatred he nurtures towards his later tutors, Ling and Trijang Rinpoches, known for their purity of character and behavior.

It is well known that the depraved Reting, with whom the little Dalai might therefore have been involved in pederast pedophilic intercourse, was discharged from his duties, not only because of his reckless behavior, but also because of his traitorous collaboration with British colonizing agents.

Therefore, being suddenly deprived from his likely sexual assailant might have been a shock to the little Dalai. The identification between sexual assailant and victim is well known to and described by psychiatric science. As a result, the little Dalai deeply identified with Reting, and abhorred his new tutors Ling and Trijang Rinpoches.

Now, identifying with the perverted traitor Reting involves also identifying with his favored Western colonizer, while abhorring his virtuous tutors Ling and Trijang Rinpoches involves also rejecting their main protector practice of Dorje Shugden, together with their purity of not mixing Dharma with politics.

And the result of such a conturbed childhood is in front of our eyes. A split, Jekyll and Hyde personality, which wants to please Westerners in every way and assume a female personality, reminiscent of likely passive pederastic experiences with Reting, while acting as the super-macho ruthless autocrat towards his Tibetan subjects, specially the followers of his later tutors Ling and Trijang Rinpoches, the ultimate targets of his hatred.

In this news article as posted earlier by Bambi, there are 78 quotes from the Dalai Lama. When I read those quotes I am learning and the words resonate with me. However, it would be good if I was ignorant of this Ban then I can take the words of wisdom at ease. But I cannot. There is much contradiction. Painfully so... I cannot help but feel such hypocrisy, please excuse my words.

If the 14th Dalai Lama was female, I am sure there would be no Ban! Yes there would be compassionate.

Personally I have no preference for the gender of the Dalai Lama. As with the Buddhas too, gender is never an issue. Each Buddha has all the complete qualities and attainments of an Enlightened mind. For the lay people, the Buddhas manifest in different forms with a specialised virtue to assist us to achieve that particular virtue.
If a female Dalai Lama is so called more compassionate, then she should allow the freedom to practice Dorje Shugden . She will remove all the sufferings DS practioners are going through now to preserve this sacred practice. The ban has to come down NOW !

Very true,His Holiness comments are usually spot on and go very deep.He also have a wonderful sense of humor. I will not say someone is more compassionate based on their gender.
Leadership through compassion brings peace and harmony .Bless His Holiness. With compassion, may the ban be lifted and end the sufferings of Dorje Shugden practitioners.

In whatever form HH The Dalai Lama so chooses to be born in, there is no debate that it will be in the best form to serve all sentient beings!

For those of you in here that likes to paint HH The Dalai Lama in bad light and to bad mouth a living Buddha, I pray you refrain as who are we to doubt, cuss, second guess or put down an enlightened being. Whatever HHDL's perceived actions, though I personally may not agree with it, I do know in some profound way in which I cannot comprehend, I can but trust and believe in his compassion!

I think it is not right to degrade the Dalai Lama in spite of how you may perceive him to be. If he is a real Bodhisattva / Mahasiddha engaging in higher acts that we may not understand, you are creating negative karma. If he is just an ordinary practitioner who has committed grave sins, we should not berate him either especially if we hold Bodhisattva vows.

In the Bodhisattva vows, we have a vow (in the secondary vows) that prohibits us from insulting those who have committed heinous crimes. Even if we do not hold Bodhisattva vows, we should aspire to act accordingly. I know the Dalai Lama's ban on Dorje Shugden angers you and that is understandable but it would better to attack his view and ban versus him as a person. That's how I would direct it and I am sure Dorje Shugden and our Lama, would want us to act.

We can say whatever we want but Dalai Lama can choose where to rebirth, and when to rebirth. It is pointless to dictate that reincarnation will happen only in Tibet by law. What is this so called law? This is like saying gravity will only work in Tibet and nowhere else. Each one of us will meet our death when the time comes. What is China today will be a different China tomorrow. Nothing will be gain by continuously targeting Dalai Lama as the 'enemy'. If Dalai Lama doesn't return what will you do since there is no more 'enemy'? Are you going look for a new 'enemy' in order for your life to be meaningful and fun? Life is all about enemies?

The next Dalai Lama will be male.
The next Dalai Lama will be female.

What does it matter if the next Dalai Lama will be female?
We need to see the qualities of that person. Would a female be more compassionate than a male? Generally it is felt that the female would be more compassionate but that doesn't mean that a male cannot be.

Well ... the current Dalai Lama is a male and is he not a male and compassionate too?

Agreed. But this you have to tell to the evil dalai, the only one who is degrading himself through his disgraceful behavior, no matter how he may perceive himself.

Quote
If he is a real Bodhisattva / Mahasiddha engaging in higher acts that we may not understand, you are creating negative karma.

But since the acts of the evil dalai are clearly understandable as the acts of a perfidious criminal, it is only the evil dalai creating negative karma, not those understanding such acts.

Besides, those such as you, justifying, legitimizing, and even sanctifying such criminal acts, under the cover of their perpetrator being a ”bodhisattva” or a ”mahasiddha”, are surely sharing such negative karma.

Quote
If he is just an ordinary practitioner who has committed grave sins, we should not berate him either especially if we hold Bodhisattva vows.

Understanding the evil nature of the actions of the evil dalai, and of those justifying, legitimizing, and even sanctifying them, is no berating.

However, justifying, legitimizing, and even sanctifying evil actions, under the cover of their being perpetrated by a ”bodhisattva” or a ”mahasiddha”, is surely breaking not only root bodhisattva vows, such as forsaking the holy Dharma, but also the refuge vows, the very root of the Buddhist path, such as taking refuge in the Dharma.

Quote
In the Bodhisattva vows, we have a vow (in the secondary vows) that prohibits us from insulting those who have committed heinous crimes.

Forget about ”insulting”, ”berating”, and so forth. Such things are only in your imagination. Here we are just investigating, analyzing, and understanding the acts of the evil dalai, together with his twisted, schizophrenic character, on the basis of facts and logic.

Your insistence on claiming that those who are just investigating, analyzing, and understanding the acts of the evil dalai are ”insulting” or ”berating” the pernicious criminal suggests that your actual intent is just to cover those acts with baseless accusations, probably out of some deep seated accomplicity with such acts.

Quote
Even if we do not hold Bodhisattva vows, we should aspire to act accordingly.

What are you waiting then? Instead of pompously judging of the behavior of others, why don't you look at your own behavior, and ask yourself why are you trying to cover a criminal?

Quote
I know the Dalai Lama's ban on Dorje Shugden angers you

It's the other way round. Investigating, analyzing, and understanding the evil actions, and the twisted character, of the evil dalai, is a source of immense peace of mind. Anger is only the result of lack of understanding, which by the way might explain your own uncontrolled anger against my serene, logical analysis.

Quote
and that is understandable

Understanding what does exist is a foolish pastime. Try to understand your own anger.

Quote
but it would better to attack his view and ban versus him as a person.

One cannot dissociate a criminal behavior from the personality of the criminal. They must be understood together, or they are not understood at all. Behavior itself is part of the personality, that which they call ”compositional factors”, itself directly related to the other four aggregates. There is no ”personality” beyond just that.

But since you see a ”personality” outside behavior and so forth, it is clear that your own accomplicity with the crimes of the evil dalai, and thus your anger at my logical analyses, is the direct outcome of your own view of a personality beyond the aggregates, the so-called ”view of the transitory collection”, the root and thus the most harmful among the so-called ”five wrong views”.

There is no evil dalai beyond his evil actions and his other four evil aggregates.

Quote
That's how I would direct it and I am sure Dorje Shugden and our Lama, would want us to act.

Then you are surely wrong, as both Dorje Shugden and our Lamas want us to act in accordance with the Dharma.

If the Dalai Lama is to be reborn as a female, then it would ideally fit the image form of Avalokitesvara for the Chinese. Then we would look forward to the expansion of nunnery all over the world, promote more sangha who are female, write and publish books for the female audience, be able to relate more to female issues and emotions and finally award female sangha into FULL ordination in robes, that is not yet approved by the male dominant sangha community.

Jspitanga, you know very well the teachings say unless we are a Buddha we cannot say who or what is an emanation of Buddha. So your comment here appears to have fallen to an extreme. However, you do appear to be relating to the DL strictly from the point of view of worldly conventions, have clearly done your homework on who this person really is according to such conventions, and make spot on comments. Your seemingly crass speech and insults should be welcomed here so we can learn about our own consciousness. I have found it very refreshing, thank you.

As for another DL, who in their right mind would want another DL after this shit!

We don't need another politically recognized and appointed pope of Buddhism, but rather to devote ourselves to realizing the teachings of the many valid lineage Gurus whose authority such a pope has attempted to usurp.
