It is the motivation and intention derived from compassion that truly matters.  Even we not advance practitioners to be able to physically take the pain, it is the compassion that we generate that matters.  May not be able take away the physical pain but we may decided in helping to ease the mental pains with comforting compassion.

Practising compassion unconditionally can benefit others in many varied ways.
