When interviewed Geshe La Kelsang Gyatso say that all religion are like Bodhisattva who is ever ready to help any being in trouble. He found the Christian Religion have similarity to Buddhism which is to love, help and be good. But initially you can learn about other religion and search for the one that suits you. Then when you finally have found and decided you should stick to that faith and learn more from the same Guru that you have chosen. Do not hop from one centre to another. Instead of benefitting you will create confusion for yourself and in the end you do not learn anything but confused yourself.
