It reminder me of myself. I used to get really angry and as the saying goes, "set the house on fire". But, on reflection, I don't do that so much anymore and I don't get off and not calm down for a day. Just like you, I now calm down faster. That's one of the many benefits of propitiating Dorje Shugden and it need not be to any specific form of Dorje Shugden. As Dharma Protector he protects us so that we are better able to progress on our path. Thank you for your sharing. It reminder me of myself. I was a real hot headed person and I would hold on to my anger for a long time. Since saying the mantra and reciting it every time I want to "blow up" I get calm. In truth is, what I have learnt about Dorje Shugden on this website has given me deeper knowledge what it means to be compassionate and endure. It is the learning here that has given me the control over myself. I realize that every action and speech I utter can hurt people and that I should not do so.
