You were very "lucky" to have meet the Protector Dorje Shugden through the Oracle. Imagine meeting and receiving the advice from the Buddha himself. How powerful is that? It really shows how deep we are mired in Samsara that we think we can choose to bend the advice of the Buddha to our convenience. I would certainly agree that the Protector had been there all along creating conditions for you to finally be in the Dharma. How wonderful that you have the support of your wife.
