The CTA is coming from a very secular point of view heavy with politics in an environment where they need not really govern a country but get international monetary aid i.e. free money. The continuation of this horrible ban, despite the Dalai Lama's softening of his stance on it and his saying that Dorje Shugden cannot harm him and anyone is free to practice, is a result of this greed and self-interest. It is very sad that Tibetan leadershiip has degenerated to such a degree and sad too, that the lay Tibetans are unable to put reason rather than pure fanatical loyalty to the situation. He has helped countless people and always create favourable conditions for them to concentrate on their spiritual path. I had experienced the same too. Having enough to meet expenses when really needed. Propitiating his practice only brings benefits and I had not had any harm other than my own karma. It is indeed illogical for the Tibetan-In-Exile government (CTA) to place the ban on Dorje Shugden and his practice as he is an Enlightened Protector who arose willingly to protect Lama Tsongkapa's precious teachings. How could the governing leaders believe Dorje Sugden should be blamed for the lost of their country due to their own fault. If Dorje Shugden had no helped the Dalai Lama to escape, he and many other attained Lamas could have been imprisoned or killed. It was due to his advice and help that the world had the fortune to receive the sacred lineage teachings from these attained Lamas. CTA must lift the ban instead of creating chaos so people can benefit and all Tibetans united for the dialogue with China. That's the Dalai Lama's wishes.
