All Gelug lamas would have received teachings from Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche. This video shows the lineage lamas leading to Geshe Wangchuk a famous Dorje Shugden lineage master of the Kham area.

There are not many Gelug lamas and monks who have not been a student of Trijang Dorje Chang. These students were inspired and devoted to Kyabje Dorje Chang. Geshe Wangchuk’s enthusiasm and devotion to the Three Jewels shows through in his talks. There is also a scene of Gangchen Lama with Geshe Wangchuk in a car.

May Dorje Shugden’s practice spread far and wide through the works of this great lama.

His Holiness speaks about the issue of those who worship Dorje Shugden, who he refers to as a worldly spirit. He says that this spirit presents a danger to himself, the unity of Tibetan Buddhism and the Tibetan cause. He suggests that rather than taking refuge in spirits one should take refuge in the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.

The Dalai Lama now says, “it is up to the individual” to worship Dorje Shugden. Well, if what the Dalai Lama says is correct with regards to the fact that we should rely only in the Three Jewels, what is the Tibetan government doing relying on the unenlightened Protector Nechung? It is obvious that the Dalai Lama is purposely contradicting himself for a greater purpose.

With deep faith and conviction in Dorje Shugden we can practise his extensive, middling, or condensed sadhana. After completing a close retreat we can engage in peaceful, increasing, controlling, and wrathful actions and gradually achieve the supreme attainments. By engaging in these practices we can protect others by helping them to eliminate their obstacles and develop wisdom, to find the right conditions for practising Dharma, to fulfil their wishes, and to meet with success in their daily lives. Whenever we engage in any of these deeds with faith we are relying upon Dorje Shugden in deed.

There are many commentaries, rituals, and sadhanas in relation to Dorje Shugden which were composed by high Sakya and Gelugpa Lamas. For beings of this present age the late Trijang Dorjechang, who was the embodiment of Buddha Shakyamuni, Heruka, Atisha, and Je Tsongkhapa, wrote his great commentary to Infinite Aeons, the praise to Dorje Shugden composed by Tagpo Kelsang Khädrub Rinpoche. He also wrote many special rituals and yogas for gaining different attainments connected with Dorje Shugden.
