Gangchen Rinpoche innovated the angle of Dharma to fit the modern global society by delivering the Dharma with a stronger humanity tone. Speaking about world peace and holistic living opened the minds of a whole new group of students. Despite his “new” way of delivering the Dharma, core aspects remain authentic, hence attracting students who seek the wisdom and compassion teachings of Lord Buddha himself. Gangchen Rinpoche is a true Hero of Dharma who stands firm to uphold the lineage but also completely compassionate to deliver it in a manner that is “familiar” to modern global society.

Lama Gangchen Rinpoche has emerged both within the Buddhist world and also internationally as a figurehead of peace and kindness. Rinpoche’s works in the areas of healing and also in promoting world peace through Rinpoche’s diversed avenues of reaching out to people such as publications, music and alternative healing meditations.

Rinpoche has faced much challenges from the Tibetan community especially with the Dorje Shugden issue. But this has not stopped Rinpoche from bringing benefit to people on the whole. Rinpoche now serves as a leading role of senior Gelugpa lamas who nurtures younger lamas to shine the torch of Lama Tsongkhapa’s teachings everywhere.

Very informative article about H.H Gangchen Rinpoche. It is good to know that there these high lamas still exist and continuing turning the wheel of Dharma. To be such a great master to go againts the odds to uphold the Dorje Shugden practice is very admirable. Traced all the way back to be one of the 84 great Mahasidhas, trully a compassionate being to take rebirths countless times to benefit all sentioent beings. Thank you.

It is about time a tribute to Gangchen Rinpoche is made to recognise this great master who has been giving to all around the world. His blessings and healing abilities are well known. Just because he is a Dorje Shugden practitioner, he is one of the most wanted Lama by the Chinese government. But this did stop him from spreading world peace and Buddhism. THank you for posting this article and I love all the pictures.

Thank you for this wonderful article on H.H. Gangchen Rinpoche. I’ve always admired Rinpoche for his peacework. He is one of those great teachers and spiritual leaders who work incessantly for world peace. He is respected internationally and travels all over the world to promote inter-faith harmony. It is always a blessing to see his holy face, even though not in person. Therefore, I’m very grateful to the Admin of this website for providing information on Gangchen Rinpoche.
