Thus is Kyabje Dagom Rinpoche, the twelfth incarnation of the lineage of Dagom Rinpoches, a highly qualified and accomplished master of the Gelugpa lineage.

In turn, he has given sutra and tantra transmissions to over 100,000 disciples in countries in Asia (like India – particularly Ladakh, Nepal, Mongolia and Singapore), in USA, in Canada as well as in many European countries. In his teachings and transmissions, he has given focus to Je Tsongkhapa’s ‘Lamrim’ or ‘Stages of the Path to Enlightenment’. Also, for a month and twenty-seven days, from March to May, 1990, he gave the profound oral instructions of Pabongka Rinpoche’s ‘Liberation in the Palm of Your Hand’ to 780 people, including ordained and lay people. He has taught great incarnate young masters like Kyabje Trijang Choktrul Rinpoche, Kyabje Chogtrul Zong Rinpoche and Gangchen Chogtrul Rinpoche.

He has established centers in Nepal, India and USA. In USA, he established the well-known Dagom Gaden Tensung Ling Center in Bloomington in 1996. He has a very close connection with the people of Zanskar(India) and has established the Lhasa Monlam festival there.

All this while, Kyabje Dagom Rinpoche has given teachings and advice and established centers, with an unwaveringly pure motivation of preserving and spreading the pure Dharma of Je Tsongkhapa and the Gelugpa lineage, for the happiness of all beings. Hence, it is inevitable that he is a devoted practitioner of the great compassionate supramundane Dharma Protector, Dorje Shugden. Dharmapala Dorje Shugden had arisen as a Dharma Protector for the sole purpose of protecting and spreading the Dharma teachings of the second Buddha, Je Tsongkhapa, especially his unexcelled and clear teachings on Nargajuna’s Middle Way, for the benefit of all beings.
