The Bhutan Affair
« on: May 15, 2018, 07:18:31 PM »
Yup, the unsubstantiated post by so-called Nyingma practitioner Sonam Dorje actually reeks of CTA’s schismatic schemes. http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/the-bhutan-affair/

Typical of CTA to weaponize religion and now even trying to pit another school, Nyingma against DS practitioners. Luckily, many can now see through their scheming ways. The telling signs are as summarised in the article, some of which reproduced below;

Quote
Sonam Dorje ended his posting by calling upon all Bhutanese people to be careful of people who are Shugden practitioners.

What observers have found puzzling about this post is that even at first glance, there are strong reasons to believe that the letter and Facebook post are fake. This is because:

The letter is not written on a monastery’s official letterhead, especially when it is supposed to be an official notice. This is against convention and in some cases, regulations.

There is no mention of which monastery the letter is from and the pictures posted do not show any buildings. This is left as a mystery, making the accusations flimsy.

The letter is written following the rules of Tibetan grammar. If it was written by a Bhutanese, the style of grammar would be Bhutanese and not Tibetan. Hence there is a very strong likelihood that the author of the letter is Tibetan.

The notice is a picture, not a scan of the original document which would have provided for greater authenticity.

There is no signature, only a name. If the issue was so important, how come the monastery refused to endorse it with their letterhead, or even the abbot’s signature and seal? This again does not lend any authenticity to the post’s claims.

Hence the letter could have been written by anyone but the question is, what was this person’s motivation to do so?

Quote
Incredibly, the letter’s narrow-minded author does not realize what a contradiction it is to call himself a pure Nyingma practitioner yet project such extreme hatred towards millions of Dorje Shugden practitioners.

The fact is that the Gelug, Nyingma, Kagyu and Sakya schools are all valid traditions of Buddhism, and real practitioners of any one of these schools will practice the Buddha’s teachings on compassion and wisdom.

None of these schools espouse hate or schism, so why would a so-called “pure” Nyingma practitioner proudly declare how they “really hate” someone? No real Nyingma practitioner will hate anyone and similarly, no real Gelug practitioner will ever believe that a real Nyingma practitioner can hate anyone. How can the sun hate the moon, when both occupy the same sky?

Come on, CTA should stop underestimating people especially Nyingma practitioners. After all, anyone can see that “A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms”.

Gone are the days where Tibetans and many blindly believe E-V-E-R-Y word that the CTA had to say about anything, especially the Shugden controversy. It is getting cleary each day that Dorje Shugden is being used as a scapegoat to cover the fact that the CTA has achieved nothing and will most like not achieve anything regardless. The Tibetans are now seen exposing and protesting against the CTA, finally, a breath of democracy among the smoke of corruptions and bribe.

How incredibly stupid can one get --- oh I forgot... the CTA can and they hire those who can as well! Amazing! If your Buddhism or if your real religion encourages you to "hate" any and to "discriminate" another then I would propose you better not call yourself spiritual or you better change your religion because that is just very very wrong and the opposite of whatever good religion teaches which is about peace, love, tolerance, and harmony. It is like shooting yourself in the foot. How can someone who teaches love and compassion but hate?

The goes to show the CTA are not Buddhist but a bunch of very narrow-minded corrupt politicians who is just out there to make some money for themselves. They are not even there for their people. Seriously Tibetans in exile need a new government/administration if they wish to survive.
