HH Dalai Lama denied visa to visit South Africa
« on: September 07, 2017, 02:36:06 AM »
South Africa has joined the list of other countries which view HH Dalai Lama's government in exile's demand for Tibet's independence as an affront to China's sovereignty.

"THE Dalai Lama has again cancelled a trip to South Africa because he had not been assured of a visa, and the government says it now considers the matter closed."

"The Dalai Lama’s Tibetan representative in South Africa Nangsa Choedon said the Department of International Relations and Co-operation’s deputy director-general for Asia and the Middle East Anil Sooklal had called them twice this week to say the spiritual leader would not be granted a visa."

Another loss of face for HH Dalai Lama. What does the CTA do to HH and his reputation? It is a shame to the CTA that they put him into such a position.

Not only that the Dalai Lama is not welcomed anymore, the Tibetans themselves are Chinese citizens now in many countries. The CTA has corrupted the good name of the Dalai Lama and of Tibet. 60 years have passed by and this is the result.
