CANDLELIGHT VIGIL FOR TIBET’S PANCHEN LAMA
« on: April 23, 2014, 04:28:58 AM »

25 years old! Wow. The picture everyone has in their heads of the Panchen Lama is still the rosy cheeked six year old that is the last picture we saw of the young boy.

I just wanted to post this up to remind everyone of this young boy's disappearance. I know everyone is very into the Chinese Panchen Lama because of the implicit endorsement by eminent masters such as HE Gangchen Lama, the 101st Ganden Tripa etc but i do hope that one day the mystery surrounding Gedun Choekyi Nyima will be revealed.

On Friday, April 25, a candlelight vigil will be held for Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, apolitical prisoner in China since 1995. Chinese government authorities abducted Tibet’s Panchen Lama, the second most revered spiritual leader in Tibetan tradition (after the Dalai Lama), when he was just six years old.
Tibetans and supporters will gather in Vancouver for a vigil to commemorate the 25th birthday of Gedhun Choekyi Nyima.
The world's youngest political prisoner, the Panchen Lama has been missing since he was 6 years old. He was last seen on May 17, 1995,whenChinese Governmentauthorities took him and his family into custody.
Vigil Details: Friday, April 25 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Consulate of China, 3380 Granville Street in Vancouver. For more details on the Panchen Lama, visit  www.freetibet.org/about/political-prisoners-panchen-lama.

What a ridiculous joke to call Gedhun Chokyi Nyima “the world's youngest political prisoner”. Only Canadians idiotified by Jewish propaganda would swallow such a ridiculous statement.

Indeed, the youngest political prisoners are the hundreds pf Palestinian children suffering torture and dying in Israeli prisons. This is the reality Jewish propaganda wants to cover with their “support” of  the “Tibetan cause”.

It was in February this year when Israel announced a pilot program that relies on written summons instead of arresting Palestinian children from their homes at night.
Tel Aviv announced the plan following repeated calls by the UN and human rights bodies to stop the night arrests of Palestinian children. The program was meant to stop ill-treatment of Palestinian children during arrests. However, the Palestinian section of an international NGO says the so-called alternative plan has failed to stem violence against Palestinian children. Defense for Children International-Palestine has reported cases in the West Bank where minors were promptly arrested, held without access to a lawyer or family, and ill-treated, after being summoned. Palestinian children are mainly arrested for taking part in demonstrations against the Israeli occupation and Tel Aviv’s aggressions against Palestinians. Some activists believe that the arrest of children is rejected regardless of however it is carried out. The Defense for Children International-Palestine says that 56 percent of Palestinian children detained in the West Bank last year were arrested from their homes in the middle of the night. It also says that during the same year, three in four Palestinian children detained by the Israeli military in the occupied West Bank endured physical violence during arrest, transfer or interrogation. According to the international juvenile justice standards, which Israel has obliged itself to implement, children should only be deprived of their liberty as a measure of last resort. According to the DCI, although the Israelis have ostensibly changed the policy of night raids, ill treatment and torture of minors have continued in the interrogation centres, a policy which is deemed illegal under international conventions.
