For ordinary people like us, our dreams are from delusion minds but for high lamas, their dreams have meaning.

I will say that, most of us will be very happy when had a dream of our lamas but the most important thing is do not cling on to it, we can feel happy, sad or excited about it and we can enjoy, feel it but must let it go.. Don't attach and cling on to it then everything will be fine.

I have quite a lot of dreams of my Lama when I engage in retreats. I always take dreams to be an auspicious omen for the course of action or the path that I am threading but it is not necessarily a prediction of the future.

A good omen especially those that relate to our Lama is a good sign from our protector is happy with the development of our spiritual practice. There's nothing better than to make our Protector happy because he is Manjushri and imagine the merits of making Manjushri happy? It must be tremendous.
