Wow, truly a modern and beautiful thangka displaying in a modern and unprecedented place.  It brings tremendous blessing to whoever cast eyes on it.  By its power, it also blesses the area.  Such brilliant idea to bring Dorje Shugden to the busy location of Brooklyn, New York!

May many more of these thangkas cover the space on earth.

This is a creative portal to bring Manjushri to millions in NYC, the greater Metropolitan area of New York has 23.4 million people and the throngs of tourists who are attracted by the city that never sleeps. Dorje Shugden is well known to manifest much signs to those who are devoted, who knows perhaps Dorje Shugden may manifest miracles to New Yorkers.

New York being one of the capital of the worlds, it is a place for. modernity, democracy, capitalism and where the entire world's people come to work, live and thrive. Concepts as discrimination and bans are antithesis to what New York represents. Perhaps it is timely that Dorje Shugden has a spot in NYC. First mural in the US of A, all American cities have graffiti art, it is part and parcel of American culture. Let the creativity and divine art begin in the US with NYC.

NYC play host to the United Nations, the organisation that champions freedom, humanity, humanistic ideals, the statue of Liberty watches over this city. There is much in NYC that symbolises freedom of beliefs, its people come from all corners of the world, no one is banned from this or that belief, no one can control what people want to pray to.

Quote
New York State's Human Rights Law prohibits discrimination on the basis of "age, race, creed, color, national origin, sexual orientation, military status, sex or marital status" in employment, housing, education, credit, and access to public accommodations[1] The law was originally passed in 1945 as the Law Against Discrimination,[2] and was the first of its kind in the United States.[3] It is enforced by the New York State Division of Human Rights

This brings to mind can the CTA be brought and challenged in New York for their unenlightened policy of enforcing the ban?

This is a magnificent image of Dorje Shugden. Kudos to the hardworking team to think of this ingenious idea of having a mural of Dorje Shugden painted on a wall in a high traffic area. It is a gentle way to "promote" our protector to the public and also drawing the attention to the website that is full of information pertaining to Dorje Shugden.
In addition to the protests that aims to draw the attention of the world towards the illogical ban on DS practice, murals such as this would be another essential media to reach out to many people everywhere.

The idea of panting a Dorje Shugden's mural as a grafitti in New York is a superb idea, as it will encourage more people to do the same, not only in New York City but all over United States with laws that encourages and addresses human rights issues.

The grafitti is colourful, bright, fun, creative and unassuming. Great way to plant imprints both directly and indirectly in anyone's mind. Skillful means.

Dorje Shugden is manifesting skillfully in the form of murals. This mural at NYC is beautiful and will attract people's attention. The message to the World is loud, direct and clear - "Protector Dorje Shugden is here to stay and to benefit many." No one including His Holiness Dalai Lama and Central Tibetan Administration can stop him!

These are the benefits of creating and displaying Dorje Shugden murals in your cities shared by DS.com:

THE BENEFITS
Unlike regular paint work or decoration, murals can give artists a better opportunity to express their creative and artistic interpretations of an image. Some of the benefits of a nicely-done mural include:

Brightening the local environment. Murals are often colourful and make use of dead space that is otherwise plain and underutilised

Education and a provider of inspiration. Murals can be used to promote positive messages or, in our case, positive images

Promoting creativity. Murals can help to generate further exciting artistic expressions of a person’s thoughts, beliefs and opinions

Create lasting impressions on visitors. Because of their size and contemporary style, a mural with a catchy message can be effective advertising that sticks with the viewer

Effective message boards. Murals can be painted with text large enough for people to read from a distance. Their size captures your attention, whether or not you are interested in the subject

Murals like ours with a large Buddha image on the ground level can attract and bless people when they walk by. Due to their size, passersby cannot help but look at murals and when it is an image of the Buddha, it plants seeds of enlightenment in their minds

This is really cool! Lord Shugden on a mural and it’s in New York! Come on…….
It’s really rejoicing seeing Lord Shugden on such a big wall and so many people will get his blessing and so many people will recognize him and check this protector out and learn about him. The more people know him the more people will learn about the ban and definitely the more people will have a big question mark on why there is a ban on this practice with no solid or rational reason. The public is not stupid and able to check and understand the whole situation and when the world will start to question be it practitioner or not but this relate to religious freedom and human right!

We hope to see more Lord Shugden mural in all over the country and with this more people know how much suffering the practitioners have to endure and how violent CTA is by torturing their own people.

This is quite neat! It is kinda cartoonish but nevertheless, it looks intriguing. If I knew nothing about Tibetan Buddhism, I would think that Dorje Shugden was some kinda superhero here. Anyway, the mistaken identity of Dorje Shugden as a superhero is not a bad thing, really...

I think the best thing about this mural is the fact that it plants seeds of wrathful Manjushri in the minds of many who passes this mural. The second best thing is that the very visible website that people can gain access to know more about Dorje Shugden. Kudos to those who thought of this idea and perhaps, this was originally inspired by the street abstract rendition of Dorje Shugden painted a year ago. Nevertheless, it is still cool and hopefully it would inspire more like this one.

Of course not.  No one can stop an enlightened protector of our time who is swift and powerful, not even the Dalai Lama or CTA.  Dorje Shugden is here to stay and spread to benefit many and this is only the beginning.  The time has begun, the Dorje Shugden Renaissance is here.

Such a simplistic and creative idea, it makes it easy on the eyes for the younger generation who are curious and at the same time bless those walk past it everyday planting the seeds into their minds that they may one day come close to the dharma. I like how ds.com has continuously push the limits to spread Dorje Shugden worldwide and its catching on quickly with the old and the new practitioners. I think those who would be drawn to it and are curious of the mural would be brought to the sight and soon too be hooked on Dorje Shugden. It would bring more awareness to the public of the current and past situation of the ban and the violence and unfairness towards those who practice ds. Thank you ds.com for continuously spreading Dorje Shugden throughout the world.

This is indeed a very rejoicing news.

This mural in New York is not a mere piece of art or an advertisement, its appearance represents a new milestone for Dorje Shugden followers.

The movement of bringing the ban down has now coming out into mainstream and is catching the attention of the general public. It is becoming a common issue for the people of New York. It can no longer be viewed as an internal matter among Tibetans in exile.

This issue touched on the basic human rights, a baseless discrimination and unjustified actions by CTA towards DS practitioners.

Oh Wow!! Right in the middle of the city where lots of people will pass by and lots of dharma seeds will be planted. So blessed the city of Brooklyn to have this artist display his work of art. The depiction and colours does really suit the art scene. Brilliant idea from Dorjeshugden.com.

More and more people will be aware of the injustice being done by the ban and fasten the uplifting of the ban so that less people will suffer.

I love this painting! The smiley look appeals to many people who are unfamiliar with the traditional wrathful demeanour of Lord Shugden. So many people rely on His practice for happiness, peace of mind, wealth, protection, just to name a few. And Brooklyn like other cities have many unhappy and lost souls that would really benefit from it. Wonderful!

I do hope that more and more will connect with Dorje Shugden now and in the future.
Be through this website, or through mural paintings, or be even through the debated ban and its implications.
To gaze upon Dorje Shugden brings about great merit, to participate in anything that makes people gaze at Him brings loads of merits too.
Such a great thing to come across Enlightenment, such a great thing to help others come across it.

Guess what country has the highest murder rate in the world???

It is timely to have Dorje Shugden coming out in the open in America to bring peace and dharmic way of life to the Americans.  Hope Dorje Shugden will show them the way to eternal happiness by severing their ignorance with his keris.  What Americans need most is Dorje Shugden who is swift and powerful during this degenerate time.  Pray more murals like this one will captivate and introduce Americans to Dharma.

How can the Dalai Lama and CTA deny the world of this great and efficacious protector during this time when it is needed most?

The Huffington Post  | by  Charlotte Alfred

Everyone wants to live in a safe neighborhood. In many parts of the world, however, that's a luxury some people just don't have.

A new report released by the U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime on Thursday serves as a stark reminder of how drastically murder rates vary from country to country. The Global Study on Homicide 2013 found that nearly half a million people were intentionally murdered in 2012, and killings were largely concentrated in two regions: the Americas and Africa.

UNODC defines homicide as " an unlawful death purposefully inflicted on a person by another person," not directly related to an armed conflict. The data is collected from each country's law enforcement or health authorities, or where this is not available, from World Health Organization estimates.

According to the study, almost half of the 437,000 murders took place in countries with just 11 per cent of the global population. In 2012, the Americas overtook Africa as the region with the highest rate of killings.

Sadly, the concentration of deadly violence in specific parts of the globe is nothing new. Murder rates in the Americas have remained high for decades, around five to eight times higher than Europe and Asia since the 1950s, according to the report.

Tellingly, the U.N. notes that the Americas have a vastly lower conviction rate for murder, at 24 per cent, compared to 48 per cent in Asia and 81 per cent in Europe.

Wow another fantastic idea from dorjeshugden.com!.

This mural is located around the busy area in New York and those who pass by will be blessed by Dorje Shugden. For those who go into the website they will be able to learn and understand more about Dorje Shugden and will not be as ignorant as the CTA who until now deny the truth about Dorje Shugden.

I thank the team behind dorjeshugden.com for always coming up with new ways to reach out to the mass so that more people will be able to benefit from this Sacred Protector.

this version of DS mural appeals to all walks of life due to the cartoon-ish feature, very peaceful and happy. it is a good start to introduce Dorje Shugden to the westerners, and to those who never come across Buddhist Protector. very good move by using wall mural to introduce DS to the westerner and create the affinity with Dorje Shugden.

This is so pretty! Glad to know that there are so many people out there doing whatever they can to promote Dorje Shugden, to lift the ban. Lord Dorje Shugden has helped so many people including my friends and myself, I have seen many miracles that have been happening around me, to my family and friends. May this holy practise benefit billions of people.
