Dear friends, Please read the message we recieved along with two pictures. I just had to post it here. Imagine. In far away Singapore, people are downloading, printing and distributing brochures and Shugden graphic novels (comics). We have all this available on the home page so people can do this. It's available for download for free. We thank our Dharma friends in the Exotic East for spreading Dorje Shugden.

"At Ngee Ann City "Jade Buddha for Universal Peace" event hosted by Amitabha Buddhist Centre which is a part of FPMT.
They have about 10 monks from Kopan Monastery here together with their resident Lama Khen Rinpoche Geshe Thubten Chonyi who is going to stay in Singapore for about 8months.
They have Tara, Dzambala and Buddha Sakyamuni section for people to make offering, a Kuan Yin sand Mandala, souvenir booth.
Shugden brochures and Shugden comic books are at their book section. People were taking the brochure and keeping it after reading. Quite popular. Two comic books were taken by 2 different families as well."

This is great news. A lot of people are distributing the DS brochures everywhere. This will create a lot of awareness to lots and lots of people! Now in Singapore and in a Buddhist event where the whole purpose is to spread Buddhism. Thank you to the person who are distributing there. And there's no harm having the DS comics side by side with Dalai Lama's book. Both are also to spread Buddhism.

This is great news, I rejoice.
The sincerity and tirelss effort of many of our DS practitioners helping to spread DS lineage and to educate people through many different ways such as distributing brochures and comic books in this buddhist exhibition in Singapore will help to create a pool of merit field for theban to be lifted!
I hope FPMT members won't faint when they see the DS brouchers and comic book! ;D Infact if they happen tp pick up one, all the better, knowledge is powerful and the information will lead them to search for more facts and truth and reduce any misunderstanding.

Thank you for sharing this news about Singapore. It's amazing to see how this website translates into action - i.e. how the admin/owners of this site created the tools to promote Dorje Shugden and then people who come to this site implement the tools. I feel that we are a global village now. Each of us in our different countries can each do something aside from reading the great discussions on here of course. I rejoice for the Singaporeans who not just do stuff but also share about it!
I do hope the FPMT members will take a read of the information on dorjeshugden.com. There are so many gems here to give a different perspective. At best, FPMT members may return to Dorje Shugden, the precious Protector practice of their very founder, Lama Yeshe. At the very least if a few people can read something which will make them change their minds about Dorje Shugden and they realise he is not evil, then something positive would have come of it.
I am eagerly looking forward to seeing more reports around the world of Dorje Shugden brochures and materials! Please do share!

Hi Guys,
FYI, The DS materials were somehow "implanted" inside and somehow when some of my friends were there and it could be removed quickly. This is an false information that the DS brochere is welcomed by the HHDL folks.

Another front has opened in fighting the ban, and as WB said correctly the site gives people the 'weapons' to fight the lifting of the ban. The way it is fought is no harm comes to the everyone involved, except harm to the ban and the lies that it sits on.

Previously, there is a group of Talibans came and spread anti-DS info via pamlets and spreading that the Buddha relics are false and now their own group of people(HHDL) came and display the same Buddha and His disciples relics. These talibans must be self slapping for their own mistakes??? ::)

This is great news to rejoice! There are more and more Dorje Shugden practitioners spreading DS everywhere. It’s wonderful that the Singaporeans DS practitioners are spreading DS there. It will be great if DS practitioners of different countries download, print and distribute and share these DS items as well. It will create more awareness and more people will be able to learn the truth about Dorje Shudgden.
Let’s put in our combined effort and spread Dorje Shugden so that the ban can be lifted soon!

I do not know whether it is a good idea to secretly plant DS materials at the places where these folks do not welcome and if discovered by them. These materials will most probably end up in the bin and these HHDL folks are very entrenched and staunch.
Again I feel that the impact of implanting materials would not be significant enough and waste of resources, unless someone who is extremely eloquent who is willing to explain the controversy of DS by bringing the light though the media.

Hey, it is not important whether these DS brochures were secretly or openly placed every where. Even if they were removed, the person that removed them would have had imprints of DS planted in their minds.
The main thing is DS is spreading like wild fire in this region. This speaks volume !

Lightning who among us do not have the characteristics of the 3 pots? Contaminated, upside down, and pot with a hole. And yet with the three pots fully with us we have started engaging the buddha dharma. Seeing a buddha's line drawing plants innumerable seeds of enlightenment in the minds of the perceiver, what about seeing the image of Dorje Shugden? There are much people out there who are fresh and new to the DS issue as opposed to those that are not hence distributing such items has more positives than negatives.
So what new idea will you come up with to share Dorje Shugden to the world that is innovative do share your thoughts.

According to scripture, it is wiser to mention the spreading of buddha dharma through DS instead if ds per se. in this manner, one is not contaminating buddha dharma in a divisive way. any buddhist sects that flourishes is a bliss for all as it benefits sentience. be oneness away from jealousy amongst sects. According ro shurangama sutra, each and every sect promotes its practice free from prejudice. in singapore becareful not to be manipulated by political motives... :D

The brochures and well designed and enough to give the right information for any newcomer, these are very handy in all sorts of situation and very beneficial to carry this wherever we go to share with others this amazing practise.
Lets have compassion and share Dorje Shugden with many many people, they will be lead to Manjushri's practise and path.

This website has neat download available for good materials to be distributed, and in many languages too.
The more we do this, the more causes we create for the ban to dissipate.

These exhibition would attract all walks of life especially those who are new and wants to learn more about Buddhism. Those people who placed the comic books and the brochures for people to take would have done it discreetly. People who happily take the comic books will have DS imprints in their mind stream. And when the time is right, their karma will open and ready to receive DS. This may happen many many lifetimes ahead but to know that it started from this very exhibition, is very gratifying.
Thank you to those who risked their lives to place the items without being caught!!! How lucky the Singaporeans!

I understand your thinking in this but I would like to let you know a few things regarding the nature of spreading our lord protector Dorje Shugden.
As you've mentioned many times that there were a bunch of 'talibans' outside a DS centre or exhibition in Singapore furiouslly spreading the misconception of Dorje Shugden to people causing a great impact on the centre. Are you going to let that happen again by accepting that this 'talibans' win? Are you gonna rest or are you gonna work tirelessly in correcting the misconception of your lord Protector?
We should find means and ways regardless. Let our means be peaceful! Like in this case, sincere devotees went into the crowd n slit in these wonderful brochures. Most of the volunteers there do not belong to the centre, they were recruited last minute (I know this for a fact most of them don't even know what's going on there and then, they're just on the bandwagon for fun!). So it is okay to do so. We didn't furnish ourselves as Shugden Talibans and raided the Jade Buddha expo, did we? LOL

People who are not in the know (who are the greater minority)
Why deprive the people who are not in the know from the blessings of Dorje Shugden?

What a great way to plan imprint to "the greater minority people who are not in the know"
These people will take the brochures and start their spiritual journey. They will learn more from the website and read more about the lineage and understand the practice better. Most important is they know that how this great protector able to them and others.
If they are not interested it's still a great knowledge for them as when the ban lifted they will hear about this protector again and their imprint will be triggered. If not now it will be for future.
Great work again from the people that work tirelessly to benefits the world out there.

This is so sneaky, it's wonderful! What a great way to spread lord Ds and this will definitely help positively in making Dorje Shugden go global and preserving our practice.
Yes the majority who doesn't really know or care about the silly ban is far far greater then those who do. And what can those PRO Dalai Lama people really do? Freedom of religion is our human right and no one should or can tell anyone what they practice is wrong. Hence let the good news be told and may they be benefited from our beloved protector!!!

It may look sneaky but out of good motivation it is not. This is a great idea and example for us all to follow. Whoever who did this should inspire us to do the same wherever we are.
It's the very least we can do for our protector who has helped us throughout our difficulties and practice. If we have benefited from DS and we should want others to experience the same benefits too. I should definitely start by getting some brochures which has been provided so freely to be printed and start distributing in various strategic places my own country! ;D

I like what Harry Nephew and Tenzin K said, as long as our motivation is to spread the worship of Dorje Shugden to benefit majority of people who do not know, then we should just be governed by our motivation and continue to do so.
My appreciation to those great initiative individuals who did so much in Singapore. More cities should be so benefitted.

Of course I do not want the "Talibans" to win and they have been using scaring tactics to ward off people from the exhibitions and Buddhist ceremony. Whereby we and these Buddhists group are more concerned of spreading Buddhism to reach sentient beings.
I do not know whether it is a good idea, as it is sneaky,(I do not want to elaborate further...)
But to spread correct information by educating the public about Buddhism, is considered a good cause.
What I am concerned about that will this give them the reasons to start their "Taliban operations" again?
Some of us who are not involved will get caught in such crossfire.
The ideal thing to do is that you sell your products and I sell mine, let's not cross each other line.
Same like you guys, I also hope that the authentic Lord Atisha Teachings, Lord Je Tsong Kha teachings and Gelug Protector Dorje Shugden will flourish, reach and benefiting the sentient beings. _/|\_

I really and truly rejoice that DS materials were available at the event. Who cares how they got there as long as they benefited those people there? I only wish there will be such activities where I stay.

Towards the end of the video, His Holiness Dalai Lama mentions that it seems the Dorje Shugden practice is growing in America, England, various countries in Europe, Taiwan, Singapore and China.
Very interesting he makes that remark because the ban makes the Shugden practice grow bigger and spread further.

I am most excited about this news of DORJE SHUGDEN in Singapore especially in Amitabha Buddhist Centre which is affiliated to FPMT. It is WONDERFUL that Singaporeans have good karma with Dorje Shugden as they readily accepted the protector.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama is abreast of news when He mentioned that the Dorje Shugden practice is growing in the west and in Taiwan, Singapore and China. How true it is. HHDL said this during the recent Kalachakra event in Inda. This really amazed many people including Tibetans themselves and people who oppose the practice.
It clearly shows that the fire of Dorje Shugden is ravaging on strongly and swiftly around the globe. LONG LIVE DORJE SHUGDEN!

Great news great news! The invisible DS elves are at it again ;D kudos to the DS elves behind the intriguing design of the brochures and dynamic presentation of the story of DS in the form of an exciting comic book, and clever placement of these "propaganda" materials... all these are key in attracting the masses and increasing awareness of DS. Even if they forget or disregard what they saw or even have -ve thoughts of it, the imprints or little seeds are there.. and that is the LEAST that can be done to connect people to Dharma. Do not underestimate the power of a little Dharma seed... e.g. the story of how a man, who in his previous life was a fly on a poop which floated around a stupa could still have the seed to gain arhatship in that lifetime!

I am also doing distribution in where I live on a regular basis, the materials on the website is really useful, easy carry and distribute. I usually leave the materials on a book shelf or cafe for people to read. As more people practice and more publicity DS gets, the ban will be lifted very soon. :)

I rejoice with all that is happening in Singapore... I too have some pictures to share from my recent visit to Singapore too. It has been quite a while since I last went to Singapore but am happy I did as there were certainly a few "sights" to behold... We should all certainly play an active role in spreading Dorje Shugden in any and every possible peaceful way!

Apparently in this video, HH Dalai Lama mentioned there was an increase of people practicing Dorje Shugden in Asia countries such as Hong Kong, Taiwan but especially in Singapore@ Too bad he spoke in Tibetan. I would love to know the direct translation.
Anyways, looking at all this pictures, I believe it's true. Can you imagine that all the materials provided by this website which is so easily provided for people to download and distribute has contributed to this? Perhaps, ds.com is one of the major factor of the increase of Dorje Shugden's practice. That would be amazing isn't it? The power of the world wide web. If Obama can become president of America because of the web, so can Dorje Shugden ;D

That's good news! Even His Holiness mentioned about it. I am actually quite surprised that Dorje Shugden's practices or rather practitioners who distributed these free materials are growing! I remembered months ago I saw a thread on the forum that there are centers in Singapore who are strongly against Dorje Shugden. Now even His Holiness is talking about it. It showed that the Shugden movement is sprouting in every parts of the world!
Actually, these distributions really helped a lot of people understand more, so they will do research and find out more. I mean they are smart adult, they can think. One book, one brochure won't change their mind about the ban but they will read up more, learn up more and understand more. They will be able to make a stand on the ban issue. It is one way to educate the people about the truth. Hence, more people will know the truth and not pressing Shugden practitioners down.
On a spiritual level, so many will see the image of Dorje Shugden, planted an imprint in their minds, get blessing, get connected with dharma. And when the positive karma ripens, they will be able to practice dharma and benefit people around. So more people distribute the material like brochures, pictures, comic books or pendants, more people will get connected with Dorje Shugden and dharma.

This is really a good news to rejoice. How fortunate are this Singaporeans being blessed by Dorje Shugden, they must have such good merits.
I find the way that these wonderful DS warriors planting DS everywhere is so happening. Every material that's being picked up or removed has planted DS seed in their mind. When the time 'is right', it'll blossom and grow.
It is even more interesting to know that these warriors had stirred and and rippled a 'calm lake' and this is definitely creating a lot of curiosity amongst people. This will lead to people wanting to find out more and learn about DS and hence the growth. Isn't this wonderful!!!! Yeah................
On the other hand, are you doing your part in spreading DS? Any small contribution and effort will contribute towards creating the causes for the ban to be lifted soon. Long live DS warriors!!!!

This is fantastic news! Lord Dorje Shugden is manifesting everywhere! Its actually a very good idea that people are downloading and printing our brochures and comics to be given away. And putting them in book stores, places where people hang out to read and hangout, book fairs, etc. are fantastic. Thank you for making these items available for us! Ooooh... May more people download and do the same in other countries!

Nice brochures! I rejoice for such creative idea of designing such nice brochures. It has to be very attractive in order to catch attention and people who found it to invite it home and start Shugden practice! This practice is beneficial for them and will be able to help many people in the land of singapore which are mostly Buddhists.
I found the explanation in the brochures are very clear and promotes help to clear obstacles to start with. This will be the main "attraction" as worldly demands are usually sells! This will make the worldly attached people to invite home and start practice Shugden so as to protect their families and clear their whatsoever personal problems. With Lord Shugden helping them and fast, this will make them believe in Shugden as it has shown results to many of us. This will make them devoted to Shugden and in turn spread it to their friends and families.
One just have to imagine the power of this method! I will download and print these out too to enable me to collect the merits of spreading Shugden practice!

The Singaporeans are very aggressive in spreading Dorje Shugden. It's never a waste to give away Shugden materials. Just seeing the image of Shugden plants seeds of Manjushri in the person's mind stream. If the person reads the materials, there is a chance that the person will practise.
What I like about the Singaporeans is that they do not sit and have an intellectual debate because nothing happends after that. They actually try all creative ways of promoting Shugden. Even HHDL noticed a surge of practitioners in Singapore as seen in the video clip of his recent talk. So what the Singaporeans are doing is creating results! Kudos!
My friends and I are also doing similar activites in my country. I hope all Shugden practioners do the same in your respective countries because based on results, it works.

Wow! The Singaporeans sure are a lucky lot. They must have so much merits that it is so easy for them to be able to obtain dharma materials so easily. Here, we are still downloading your brouchures, print them on our printers and we distribute them in our neighbourhood after folding them. We only hope to introduce Dorje Shugden to more people. May the day will come soon when we are able to hold a big prayer festival to Dorje Shugden and have more people blessed by DS. Till then, we will continue to do this in our small little ways.

Let's all of us emulate what the Singaporeans are doing! So many of us from different regions can do the same. Distribute the brochures, comics in your own town or city. It will be so exciting getting a group together and going distributing DS brochures and it can be a fun weekly activity. I thank this website for providing such materials that can be downloaded and can be printed easily and it is high quality. Imagine the impact this activity will have if everyone in the world is doing the same!

When i see all this posted picture i felt extremely happy, happy that many people around the world doing the same things as i am in my city. I am happy every time i noticed got people keep all materials of Dorje Shugden after distributed comic book or brochure or cards. I am happy people even just see dorje shugden image one time in their current life will help them. If they pick up brochure or comic book to read and chant dorje shugden mantra this even will help them tremendously in their current and future life. Rejoice singaporean got merit to connect with dorje shugden.

What a great idea to spread DS to the mass. We should all follow this example and take the first step by starting within our local community. What a great way to get your friends and neighbors together to engage in such a wonderful work. May we together help to spread DS.

Like the Dalai Lama has said, there has been a resurgence in the practice of Dorje Shugden especially in the east, Taiwan, China and Singapore. One of the reasons the Dalai Lama is saying this may be because the hardworking people behind this DS website are out there in Singapore distributing materials like brochures, comic books etc to people and create awareness. They are breaking boundaries to ensure that the ban is lifted soon enough so that people are free to practice their religious freedom.
We in the west should take heed from them and also do the same here. Then it will benefit lots more people. So that it will become a world phenomenon. Don't you all think so? One brochure being distributed means one life is being saved. We can do more.
This reminds me of a story which I heard some time ago. Here is the short version.
A boy was walking down the beach when he saw a lot of star fishes washed ashore. He then started picking up one star fish and throws it back to sea. He kept on doing this until a man approached him and asked him on what he was doing. He replied, "saving the starfishes". I agree with you, Galen. We should not think that we can only do little so it will not have any effect. Nothing is created overnight. Just like this website started small now it has snowballed so big. It takes a lot of hard work, patience and determination to make it grow. So let us be like the boy walking down the beach; let us play our part so that the ban can be lifted soon.

We in the west should take heed from them and also do the same here. Then it will benefit lots more people. So that it will become a world phenomenon. Don't you all think so? One brochure being distributed means one life is being saved. We can do more.
This is indeed very true Galen... It also reminds me of this quote:
"For evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing!"
If we all did our part however "little" we think it is, fret not as all these little parts will add up to a larger picture and that is the ultimate goal we are after. The BIG picture! After all, as long as we do our best and push ourselves to this inevitable goal, the ban WILL be lifted and Our King, The Protector of Our Time will claim his rightful place in helping us achieve our maximum spiritual goals.

Yes a friend downloaded that youtube video of HHDL at Kalachakra and showed me too. HHDL specifically mentioned it is growing in those countries especially Singapore . Hopefully the people at ABC will be educated by the DS comic books. Singaporeans are intellectual and advanced people. Those who know who DS truly is will flock to the practice. So the ignorant ones needs to be educated.
I am most excited about this news of DORJE SHUGDEN in Singapore especially in Amitabha Buddhist Centre which is affiliated to FPMT. It is WONDERFUL that Singaporeans have good karma with Dorje Shugden as they readily accepted the protector.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama is abreast of news when He mentioned that the Dorje Shugden practice is growing in the west and in Taiwan, Singapore and China. How true it is. HHDL said this during the recent Kalachakra event in Inda. This really amazed many people including Tibetans themselves and people who oppose the practice.
It clearly shows that the fire of Dorje Shugden is ravaging on strongly and swiftly around the globe. LONG LIVE DORJE SHUGDEN!

It is really a joy to see DS spreading 'ITS Wings' in Singapore blessing the people there. Despite the anti DS move, which looks like has started to loose its 'steam', many are being blessed by DS, thanks to the tireless efforts of the DS Warriors.
For every DS seeds planted, it is creating causes for the DS ban to be lifted. The DS warriors are working very hard towards this mission.
May their effort bear fruits and the lift of the ban come very soon.

I congratulate hardworking dharma friends from the far east for spreading DS teaching in Singapore. I foresee that it will take root in Singapore and spread across to all the South East Asian countries like wild fire as Dorje Shugden is the protector of our time and generation. Many people will receive Dorje Shugden blessing and Lama Tsongkhapa's teaching will flourish forever more.
This is really so exciting and looking forward to see more Dorje Shugden centres sprouting in this region. The next time I visit Singapore I hope to visit them.

As far as I am aware of, Shugden practioners are not concentrated in that part of ASIA 5 years ago. But since DL can actually mentioned SINGAPORE in his teachings or rather speech, it must be a significant group of Shugden practioners.

Hi Thaimonk, For your kind information, all dorje shugden thankas were removed from year 2008 onwards due to transition from Gelugpa to Kadhampa lineage. We no longer worship Dorje Shugden due to following the path of the past Kadhampa masters, but we do acknowledged that Dorje shugden is recognized by the Great Gelugpa lineage masters such as like Trijang Rinpoche, Pa Bong kha Rinpoche etc.

No offense to you. I have friends who work for Serkong Tritul Rinpoche in Taiwan. These are the same friends who work for building Serkong Monastery in Nepal. They said, Serkong Tritul Rinpoche and Jamseng Rinpoche publicly say they don't practice. But in private they practice.
Serkong Tritul Rinpoche also contact the Dorje Shugden oracle in Taiwan for questions even recently.
Also Serkong Tritul Rinpoche is still sending money and sponsorship to Shar Gaden Monastery.
So openly the thangkas have been removed and publicly they announce they don't practice, but privately Serkong Tritul Rinpoche is very devoted to Shugden. This is for sure due to much pressure.
Same as Kejok Rinpoche who publicly announced he 'gave up' Shugden, but he practices in the privacy of his room in Australia. That is why you never see Kejok Rinpoche, Jamseng Rinpoche or Serkong Tritul Rinpoche ever joining with the Dalai Lama at public events.
Serkong Tritul and Jamseng Rinpoches are good lamas with strong Guru Devotion to their lamas and their lineage. All their practices come from Gelug and Gaden, so their name is Kadampa to disassociate from CTA but their practices are all core Gelug practices. They will not simply abandon the practice of their protector except they recieved alot of pressures from other centres, press and organizations in Taiwan. These lamas have no choice but to go underground for now. You will see later, when the ban is done, they will emerge openly again as practicing.
Geshe Kelsang is also New Kadampa. But just because he is has labelled himself as Kadampa does not mean you cannot practice Shugden or Shugden cannot be included. All Geshe Kelsang's practices are core Gelug practices of which some stem originally from Kadam lineage. Vajra Yogini is from Sakya, Six yogas of Naropa from Kagyu, Thought Transformation teachings (lojong) from Kadampa masters. And etc, etc. Gelug is the combination of all lineages. Lama Tsongakapa is extra special in this way he extracted the most effective teachings from his 40 teachers of all existent sects during his time and combined it into what we call as Gelug.
I do not mean disrespect to you, but Serkong Tritul Rinpoche and Jamseng Rinpoche are both practicing Shugden privately and sincerely up till now. This is from confirmed sources from close people working for them in Taiwan and Nepal.
