You guys HAVE to see this article. You know how the CTA have always claimed that it was Nechung who saved the Dalai Lamas life? When we know it really wasnt him, and if the government had listened to Nechung, the Dalai Lama wouldve stayed in Tibet and died with the Communist invasion??? Well, a Sera Monastery abbot's main attendant has written an affidavit which states that it was DORJE SHUGDEN who advised the Dalai Lama to leave Tibet AND protected His Holiness and his entourage... and get this - the affidavit is signed and VERIFIED by Sera Mey Monastery.
Hmmmmmm damaging much?

We have always known that the CTA have no qualms whatsoever about lying. Later, the Dalai Lama's own personal translator Thupten Jimpa was caught for his blatant lies [see: http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/features/thubten-jinpa-prostrates-to-his-gurus-throne/ (http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/features/thubten-jinpa-prostrates-to-his-gurus-throne/). And now the sickening trail of deceit leads directly to the Dalai Lama's front door and this is the most disappointing of all.
When I read the statements by Changtso Lobsang Yeshe I asked myself how reliable his statements might be. But it occurred to me that, for the Changtso of Kensur Ngawang Dakpa Rinpoche to pull off this lie so publicly, he would have to enlist the help of so many people including Trijang Rinpoche, the Kensur himself, Ratoe Chowar Rinpoche, the Panglung oracle (and the other monks present) and so many others. It would have been impractical or even possible. But for the Dalai Lama's office and the CTA to lie, they just need to make unsubstantiated statements on His Holiness's website. It is an easy one to decide.
The evidence is clear - Dorje Shugden was not merely consulted on that one, albeit all-important occasion but was in fact a "long-consulted" Dharma Protector. And what is more, had Dorje Shugden's earlier advice been obeyed, perhaps the Tibetan people's unfortunate and present circumstances could have been averted.
To lie on this scale is not only foolish but shows serious ingratitude to so many who sacrificed themselves and readily put themselves at risk to see to the Dalai Lama's safe exit out of Tibet. It is an insult to so many people, including highly esteemed monks, and a slap to their faces for being loyal and devoted to the Dalai Lama. But then again, as we have seen, for these people, devotion is only an optional thing, not a creed they live by.
The Tibetan people should now take note that Dorje Shugden has never failed in his divinations nor refused to help the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan people and since the 1970's when the Dalai Lama and his coterie began distancing themselves from Dorje Shugden, they have denied themselves precisely the calibre of divine assistance they have needed. Instead they relied on Nechung who has been proven wrong on so many instances. Therefore it should not be surprising that today the Tibetans are still no where close to returning to their homeland.
If the Dalai Lama's office and the CTA can lie about something so important, and if the divine assistance of an enlightened Protector can be swept under a rug, then nothing is sacred to them. Is it any wonder why with all the Buddha's and holy beings' powers the Tibetans have yet to be successful in their cause? It has nothing to do with Dorje Shugden "malevolence" but everything to do with their collective negative karma for so seriously disparaging the Three Jewels by the ban and all the unsavoury acts done in its name.
It is such a crying shame that what is supposed to be a holy institution of the Dharma such as the Dalai Lama's office engages in such dishonor. By that even a great foundation of Dharma truth (or once was) that is Sera Mey Monastery is turned into a pillar holding up lies. If anyone is destroying the Dharma it is not the Chinese but these very people.
Is it not time for the Tibetan people to collectively take action?

I find that the accounts here is more realistic even though here the miraculously power of Dorje Shugden is mentioned frequently here. The advises sound like coming from a head strategist in the intelligence department. We can never be sure what accounts are real and what are fabricated by those who wrote it. However there are solid backing written in black and white. Vajratruth mentioned a very solid point that to lie with all the parties involved is near impossible.
One interesting point I see is that Dorje Shugden has the wisdom of defending against 'barbarians' who are hellbent on removing people who are deemed 'enemies' with military might much like in the art of war. He ordered the setting up of a base camp at South of Lhasa because he foreseen that Dalai Lama would be pursued by China's army when Dalai Lama escape. A base camp with military presence can fortify and support the escape route. Since many people are consulting Dorje Shugden for his advise, by his instruction, those who consulted Dorje Shugden went there and thus reinforcement was provided. Also during that era there is no electronic communication the protector provides the means to relay the message quickly. By following this second instruction the Tibetan culture, religion and people were saved.
What about the first instruction? It is to engage a battle with China. However the battle didn't happen because those who agreed to participate don't follow through. From the account Dalai Lama came back from his pilgrimage and the situation became bleak. One would have thought why does Dorje Shugden, an enlightened being, inciting war? However recalled that the Atisha story that he cannot return to India as he promised because a war broke out at the borders of the country. In the same way if a battle broke out Dalai Lama would have a solid excuse not to return to Tibet while he was on a pilgrimage trip to India. The takeover of Tibet is going to happen in whatever way. It is just that China was seeking the most effective way to accomplish their agenda. How would one take over the other quickly? By removing the leader running the country, of course. War can happen as well. It is another method of taking control and power but expending more resources. In this instance, the advise was the Tibet has to start the battle themselves.
Dorje Shugden via the Panglung Oracle advises for Tibet to engage in a battle with China, whilst the Dalai Lama is away. By doing so, it will resolve Tibet’s situation. Here it is not elaborated how can it be resolved. If the battle did happen how would it end? Could it be a start for the Tibetans to becoming independent just like what was happening around the world during that period? Was Dorje Shugden thinking on the same line? The Tibetans would have been crushed because China has a greater military might and that the Tibetans would have ended up in India as well in the end? Or others would come to the Tibetans' rescue? Or China would be more restrained?

Okay everybody, I think I have had some sort of misunderstanding here, and please have some patience with me as I cannot keep all the Gelugpa lamas names strait (I was looking at the glossary and that did help) but I thought we already knew that the Dalai Lama was relying on Dorje Shugden's oracle when he got out of Tibet? I understand that sometimes the office of the Dalai Lama may claim things in whatever political fashion suits them at the time, but is there some new person that wasn't mentioned before that is affirming that it was in fact Dorje Shugden that got the Dalai Lama out of Tibet? Forgive me--- I did read all of the English parts of the article before someone says "I wish you guys would read the articles..."

I don’t think you misunderstood anything and yes, it was Dorje Shugden who saved the Dalai Lama’s life and provided both the divine and organizational means for the Dalai Lama to escape unharmed, carrying the Tibetan people’s hopes and legacy, not to mention the Buddhist heritage out to India, safely. This itself is completely the opposite action for one who is accused of wanting to harm the Dalai Lama and Tibetans.
The point of this new article as I see it, is that Dorje Shugden’s prominence in helping the Dalai Lama now has concrete proof and it is not merely hearsay, unlike the unsubstantiated arguments against the Protector. And while those of us who are familiar with the Bodhicitta of the Protector, and those of us who trust our Gurus may not need proof, there are those who have obeyed the ban blindly, who should now look at facts. They have been horribly misled and have in fact not only denied themselves the very Protector they need during these times, they may also have joined in disparaging a Buddha. These people need to know the truth so that they can correct their mistakes. And the evidence does not come from just any where but from extremely credible sources with names and details of events.
We see that Dorje Shugden had the clairvoyance to plan even a couple of years ahead of 1959 and we see how the Protector literally formed the regiment that would secure the safe passage for the Dalai Lama to escape. We see from the literature how such accomplished masters consulted with Dorje Shugden indicating their absolute trust and we see how accurate the Protector has been all along. Contrast this with the Protector the Tibetan government have chosen to take advice from
In between the lines, we must also see how maligned a great Protector has been.
Lobsang Yeshe’s affidavit which has been verified by Sera Mey is singularly sufficient to topple the arguments against Shugden, the justifications for the ban and the false accusations that he is merely a demon wishing harm upon the Dalai Lama. This written testimony which cannot be refuted proves that that everything said about Dorje Shugden in supporting the ban were malicious lies! This is the smoking gun if you like.
Those who believed in the reasons for the ban must now see if they can reconcile the proven actions of a great Protector against the accusations leveled against him. If they cannot, then someone must have been telling lies. And how can Lobsang Yeshe lie and why would he conjure up such material, EVEN BEFORE the ban was imposed as the evidence predates any opposition to Dorje Shugden. Are those things we read in the affidavit the actions of a sinister spirit who wants to harm the Tibetans? Or are those actions indicative of a very power enlightened Protector?

Yes, the truth is undeniably out.There are documents and there is an affidavit. Dorje Shugden alone, and no other, engineered the safe escape of HH Dalai Lama from Tibet to India, with such precision of timing. There was even a base camp at Lhoka in the south,created following his instructions.. Furthermore,in this camp, a band of warriors,the Chushi Gangdruk , was formed and trained two years ahead of the Dalai Lama's escape to India. This was the band that ensured the Dalai Lama's safe passage out of Tibet into India. The escape route was even divined by Dorje Shugden!
In the face of this undeniable truth, the monks and warriors involved in the Dalai Lama's great escape, must surely weep at the injustice of it all. The only Protector, who had saved the Dalai Lama and who saw him to safety,is now condemned as a spirit ,a demon. On top of it they must now make a difficult choice between their beloved Protector and their beloved Spiritual Head.Many of them would rather be dead than having to make this difficult choice.

This is definitely a great article that would be beneficial to many. It has shown the details of the situation and what was the true story of how the Dalai Lama has escaped from Lhasa. It is just unbelievable that there are such information that is not being disclosed till now. I am really happy that the article is being written on this website. - Dorje Shugden via the Panglung Oracle advises for Tibet to engage in a battle with China, whilst the Dalai Lama is away. By doing so, it will resolve Tibet’s situation.
- Andruk Gompo Tashi meets with the representatives from 3 Tibetan provinces. They unanimously agree to attack, and to make the necessary preparations.
- The first attack with the Chinese is scheduled to be on the 15th day of the 12th month (according to the Tibetan calendar) at Dromo-Shar-Sima, Tibet.
- One week prior to the planned attack, Andruk Gompo Tashi sends a messenger to seek audience with Changtso Lobsang Yeshe (main attendant to Khenpo Ngawang Dakpa Rinpoche).
- Lobsang Yeshe learns about the scheduled attack. There is also a request from Andruk Gompo Tashi for monks from Sera Mey monastery to be part of the Chushi Gangdruk. Changtso Lobsang Yeshe agrees.
- The plan entailed for Sera monks to meet with other Tibetan laymen at the Potala Palace on the 15th day of the 12th month. Arms would then be provided, and the battle will ensue.
- On the 15th day of the 12th month, the attack does not occur.
- On the 23rd day of the 12th month, Andruk Gompo Tashi informs Changtso Lobsang Yeshe that he himself does not know why the attack has not yet taken place. A new date for the attacked is scheduled: 25th day of the 12th month.
- On the 25th day of the 12th month, the battle again does not take place due to disagreements between the local businessmen who initially agreed with the attack. The attack is again put on hold.
- His Holiness the Dalai Lama, his 2 tutors and retinue returns to Tibet from India.
- Amdruk Gompo Tashi consults Dorje Shugden via the Panglung Oracle. The oracle said that the failure to carry out the initial advice was very bad. Now, a new base camp should be formed at the South of Lhasa, at Lhoka-Chaksta Drikung Thang, as soon as possible. Failure to do so, and all would be lost.
Can you imagine the protector allowing a battle, encouraging a fight and instructed for it to happen to save the whole of Tibet! Yet the few silly Tibetan businessmen did not listen and could not put aside their differences to follow instruction. If only they had done so, perhaps Tibet would not have been lost today!
Yes Dorje Shugden ask them to go for battle... this may sound absurd and how can DS ask of this, but if you think of the bigger picture and the amount of lives which could be saved - the whole country vs a few Tibetans who would have to be sacrificed for the sake of all vs losing the whole country and so many monks and nuns perished, it is obvious that the lesser of the two evils is picked.
This is the kind of protector we have, that has the wisdom and skillful means that is omniscience if only we listened. If they had gone to battle and shaken up the Chinese camp, they could have avoided the whole war cos at that time, Mao was not that strong yet, there political problems within and they would probably see as too much hassle to set more Chinese camps. Moreover the Chinese were not use to Tibet's harsh himalayan weather and environment, they would experience altitude sickness, their nose would bleed. It would take them years to acclimatize. So they would not have bothered in this sense... if the went to battle in the first place.
So in reality, Tibet was lost because of TIBETANS!!!! Not anybody else's fault but the Tibetans themselves. And Dorje Shugden even gave them instructions on how the could have saved the situation and so many lives would have been saved. Can you beat that?!

Now the world and the crazy pro Dalai Lama camp people may say the affidavit is a fake or that why should anyone believe Lobsang Yeshe? Besides the obvious points that Vajratruth stated, here is another.
Now if Lobsang Yeshe is cooking up and telling us some BS story, it would mean that Trijang Rinpoche is a liar right? So if someone as huge as Trijang Rinpoche is a liar, then it would obviously caused Trijang Rinpoche students and sponsor to not trust Trijang Rinpoche, it would ruined His reputation and so many things would be at stake. Basically Rinpoche's entire livelihood.
So why would Trijang Rinpoche and all the high Lamas and Lobsang Yeshe lie to cause themselves more suffering? Why would they lie and get themselves to be on the "HIT" list to be wiped out? What for, might as well be on the Dalai Lama camp and get more supporters, why should they risk their reputation and life for? We must use our heads and look at the real facts not just follow blindly whatever is said.
But I am still so curious why does someone who is Chenrezig do something so horrible, who betrays the very protector that helped him and his people? Because His Holiness is alive and managed to escape safely to India, all the other sects Lamas, Sakya, Nyingma, Kagyu was given the chance to re-established themselves. So in other words, all the other schools of Buddhism was also indirectly saved by Dorje Shugden. It is so strange that His Holiness can do this, there is no logical explanation... which moves so many who respects His Holiness to think it can only be to spread Dorje Shugden wider through bad publicity.

Thank you for this article. What is new to me was that Dorje Shugden gave explicit instructions on how to save Tibet from the Chinese (by going to war when the Daial Lama was in India), yet the Tibetans did not follow the instructions, hence Tibet fell. I do wonder if Tibet did not fall, whether Buddhism would be so pervasive in the world today, whether the Dalai Lama would have the prominence he enjoys now on an international level. I wonder if Dorje Shugden would be so maligned. But i guess there is no point wondering because things are the way they are today because of what happened in the past and we can't change the past.
I do find it interesting that a Buddha of Wisdom would advocate a war... despite the ends. It makes Dorje Shugden rather Machiavellian, though i guess with faith, we should think that the Buddhas can never be wrong.
Re Dorje Shugden advising the Dalai Lama to leave Tibet in 1959, i think most of us who are Dorje Shugden practitioners believe that as gospel, though there is no concrete proof until now, with this affidavit. For me, that proof is what is important because it will hopefully change people's minds regarding the Dorje Shugden issue.
What is curious is how people will react when they realise that the Dalai Lama has been lying all this time about who actually saved him. That it was Dorje Shugden and not Nechung. Will people also start to believe that the thangka that the Dalai Lama carried with him as protection on this journey was of Dorje Shugden, and not Palden Lhamo?
Will people start to believe that Dorje Shugden is a Buddha and not a Demon? Will the Dalai Lama finally, under force of evidence, admit that Dorje Shugden saved his life?

This article really gives me a great picture of how compassionate the great protector helps the Dalai Lama escape. Advice after advice from the protector since 1956 until the loss of Tibet in 1959 which also led the escape of the Dalai Lama, I still cannot see how people could still claim that Lord Shugden is the spirit. This protector has been requested for advice by so many high Lama and even the Dalai Lama himself, how could people claim of Lord Shugden will harm the Dalai Lama?
Thanks to the Sermey Changzoe Lobsang Yeshe for his valuable statement with the sealed from Pomra Khangtsen. The advice from Lord Shugden for the escape not only save the Dalai Lama but this also preserves the Tibetan Buddhism lineages, culture and tradition. With this escape, Tibetan Buddhism and Lord Shugden practices has traveled worldwide to benefit many. Thanks for this great article again, even though I have read about the escape before but this articles with all the information attached does give me strong energy that how lucky I have had believe in Lord Shugden and the practices.

I think my problem here is that I really get confused about who which attendant is in the Gelugpa lineage. So, I think this was a verifiable source, that was also somehow verified by one of the Sera monestaries.
That is helpful; however, I was under the impression that we already had proof of this from other high lamas and monks?
I am asking so that I can get this into streamlined and logical arguements when discussing this with other people; I already have faith in Dorje Shugden, thanks to Dorje Shugden himself and having met some really amazing Shugden lamas.

This is sure a very interesting article. Finally there is real evidence for this historical event. I like the way this article is written with a lot of appendices to guide people who are not very familiar with the names and event.
I like what vajratruth said.. it is about the real proof and not hearsay.. I remembered vividly when I went to Serpom Monastery in India where I visited the old monks who traveled to India with HH Dalai Lama in 1959, when the old monks talked about the event, they can't stop but cry because they are really puzzled why HH Dalai Lama would say something bad about Dorje Shugden because it is Dorje Shugden who helped HH Dalai with the escape.
I hope with this evidence, more truth about Dorje Shugden will be revealed and the ban will be lifted!!

Truth and justice must be brought together, so that whatever is the truth may be powerful, and whatever is powerful may be just. The ban has to be lifted, the deception will die a natural death as the truth of Lord Dorje Shugden is powerful and justice shall prevail. The whole wide world shall come to know the truth. This is explosive with proof of evidence. Oh my Buddha! Where will CTA hide their faces!??

Well, I say, for sure Tibet would not have been lost.
And today, we see Tibet (Tibetan culture) and religion has made a come-back even and especially so in Tibet, as predicted by Dorje Shugden.
So here we had an entire country that is lost at first, then suffered from efforts of cultural annihilation, we had a diaspora of lamas, we had a religion on its knees, we had a clearly desperate situation.
Yet, today the Tibetan Buddhism has flourished in the world and has come back in China.
And the Tibetan Culture has "houses of Tibet" in many countries, and it is making a strong come-back in China itself, with the support from the Chinese Government (nothing less!).
This even after the worse could have been envisioned: the loss of a religion and the loss of a culture.
So I say, let's get a clear understanding of how powerful Dorje Shugden can be, for he saved an entire religion and an entire country from the forces that were in motion to annihilate them.
So I say, if Dorje Shugden can save a whole country and a whole religion, let's imagine what he can do for us!
How can he help us?
I think simply, we create the causes for Dorje Shugden to help us if we follow our spiritual path with resilience, with consistency, with devotion, with effort and this regardless of what our spiritual path is, may it be Buddhist or of any other religion.

From the truth, I can also experience how powerful Dorje Shugden is. If without him, HH Dalai Lama would not be able to escape safely to India. Prime Minister of India, His Excellency Jawaharlal Nehru bestowed 24 tracts of land because of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. That was also the reason for Tibetan people in India able to preserve their cultural and religious heritage. That was also why the Tibetan Buddhism could still be preserved until now. If without Dorje Shugden, I may not meet my Guru and learn the beautiful Tibetan Buddhism. I would not able to learn about Lama Tsongkhapa and be blessed by him.
Therefore, Dorje Shugden is definitely not a spirits. In additions, he is so powerful that he can help to preserve the whole Tibetan religion. I’m truly grateful to be able to be connected with him.

When asked by his disciple when is the beginning of Dharma-ending age, Guru Rinpoche replied; “When the Iron Birds(1) are flying in the sky and the Iron Horses(1) are running on the roads, we know that dharma-ending age has arrived. At this time, Tibetan Buddhism shall flourish globally. When the iron bird flies and the horses run on wheels, the Tibetan people will be scattered like ants across the world, and the Dharma will come to the land of the red men (Western Countries).
This is an interesting prophecy by Guru Rinpoche made 1000 years ago. I suppose when Dorje Shugden gave the option to attack the Chinese in 1957 probably knew for certain the chances that the Tibetan businessman would facilitate the attack would be slim very slim.

This is a solid proof that HH the 14th Dalai Lama relied on and trusted Dorje Shugden to save his life. If His Holiness trusted DS then, there is no reason for him not to trust the Great Protector Dorje Shugden anymore.
The ban is just another manifestation of His Holiness' Great Compassion to make DS practice well-known to the world and thus benefit millions of beings... his makes this so real that even the mighty China authority is now supporting the DS practitioners thinking they are against HH the Dalai Lama...

I would like to draw attention here to Dorje Shugden's unwavering focus on fulfilling his promise of protecting Je Tsongkhapa's teachings, for which reason he had arisen as a Protector.
In the last weeks before the fall of Tibet to the Chinese, he had tried to save Tibet from falling, in a thorough, systematic and careful manner. He first had the league of Chushi Gangdruk warriors formed. Then, when the Dalai Lama and his two teachers had gone to India, and a window of opportunity had opened, he planned for the battle with the Chinese , by the Chushi Gangdruk, together with monks from Sera Mey,at Dromo - Shar-Sima. Unfortunately his advice was not carried out after a couple of postponements of the date of the battle. By then, the Dalai Lama had returned and the window was closed.
Then,without any waste of time , he set in motion, the second course of action, which saw the Dalai Lama's safe passage into India.
We saw Dorje Shugden saving Tibet from the clutches of China, during the 13th Dalai Lama's tenure of office. On that occasion, he had advised the 13th Dalai Lama to accumulate vast merits via the repair of the two great stupas. The Dalai Lama had promptly followed the advise. A tax was levied and the proceeds used to repair the two stupas. The happy result was that the invasion by the Chinese was staved of fbecause of internal problems.
Thus has Dorje Shugden unwaveringly protected the teachings of Je Tsongkhapa. Even when Tibet was about to fall to the Chinese , he had the Dalai Lama, the great repository of the teachings, saved so that he could spread the teachings to the world from India.

Could it be that His Holiness wants to promote the protector in the "Hollywood" way? After all in these degenerate times, controversy sells. What better way to draw attention to the King than having a controversy? We all know the HHDL is none other than Avalokitesvara and as such everything he does is from spontaneous compassion. From our side, he manifested the unreasonableness but lets examine the results. The protector practice has never been practiced as widely as now. We should rejoice.
At the same time, we just keep our Guru Devotion intact, do our utmost to promote the protector, act in virtuous ways and basically create the cause for the ban to be lifted.
What this site has been doing is perhaps one of the best way to promote the protector. We should keep up the support of this site and share all the articles via social media. It reaches millions in seconds. The protector cannot be stopped.
The truth is the truth and will always prevail. Just needed our karmic conditions to ripen.

This shows that a head of state such as Nehru considers the Dalai Lama, a young monk as an equal head of state.
Ensues that the Tibetan community in exile is also given a large extent of land that will be used to base the Tibetan Community in exile.
This is VERY IMPORTANT. Why? Because if the Tibetan community had not received land to base the community on, it would have dispersed throughout India (and the world), it would have been assimilated and it would have been very difficult to gather the Tibetans in exile together, harder and harder starting from the second generation.
And the Tibetan culture in exile would have vanished.
Yet today, more than 50 years later, Dharamsala remains a world-known Tibetan city, even though in India.
I can’t help but to think that Dorje Shugden had something to do with the land offered by the Indian Government...

It is news to me to know that Dorje Shugden actually gave more instructions on how to prevent Tibetans from losing Tibet. I feel it is their own wrong doing that they did not follow instructions of Dorje Shugden that caused Tibet to fall into the hands of China. And even then, i always think it is meant to be that way? It is always hard to answer if Tibetan Buddhism would flourish even further to the rest of the world if Tibetan Lamas did not leave Tibet. At the expense of the 600,000 Tibetan population, millions outside of Tibet benefited.

Your website has provided me with much knowledge, strength, understanding and determination that when I am questioned by other people on why I practise Dorje Shugden, I am able to counter their ignorance with my knowledge, truth and facts. That aside, this article is truly mind blowing.. what more can the CTA or the crew of HHDL say to refute the fact that Dorje Shugden was indeed the one behind the greatest journey in Tibetan, no.. the world’s history. If it was not for Dorje Shugden, Tibet and all that’s associated with it, would have perished. The global fame of His Holiness today, his milllions of followers, the millions of lives he has touched, his extremely powerful influence in the world, his upholding of Tibetan Buddhism, his nobel peace prize award has all come about because of Dorje Shugden, who gave him the biggest gift – HH’s life for him to dedicate to serving others.
Such is the power and clairvoyance of Dorje Shugden that even way before there was any hint of threats to His Holiness’s life to the common mind, Dorje Shugden had already paved the way for the great escape by first forming the guerrilla group, Chushi Gangdruk, and then by securing the base camp in the South of Lhasa, at Lhoka-Chaksta Drikung Thang. Dorje Shugden even stressed that failure to do so would result in all being lost therefore it was imperative that this was carried out and done. Little did anyone know that this was to be the ONLY escape route that was safe for HH and his entire entourage to successfully escape through.

Why does the accounts from Lobsang Yeshe go in line so closely as to what Trijang Rinpoche has written in his biography The Illusory Play, when both were not physically together. Why would all the high lamas lie? What benefit would they get? Why has the two key lamas who are fundamental to the upholding of Tibetan Buddhism; Kyabje Pabongkha Rinpoche & Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche, who wrote the modern day Lamrim for our enlightenment, promote the practise of Dorje Shugden so heavily? Why are their incarnations back to continue the practises of their previous lives? Because these lamas have reincarnated back, and so has HH with his line of incarnations, it shows that they all must have done or are doing something right to all be able to keep their respective line of incarnations. Who knows whether HH will reincarnate back after this 14th incarnation, but we definitely know that Trijang Rinpoche and Pabongkha Rinpoche has!

Now, I hope those who have been criticising Dorje Shugden and calling him a "spirit" and those who mistreat Shugden practitioners will stop doing so immediately. On the side of Shugden practitioners, you are vindicated! There is no need for revenge because this is not the way Buddhists should act. Now is the time for reconciliation and forgiveness. It is just unbelievable that there are such information that is not being disclosed till now. I am really happy that the article is being written on this website. I agree with Rinchen that this is is a great article and one that tells the truth about H.H. the Dalai Lama's escape from Tibet. There are enough details to support the author's claims that it was Dorje Shugden who engineered His Holiness's escape and used his miracle powers to protect and guide the group out of Tibet to India. Lord Shugden knew exactly which route should be taken that would be safe. Because of the Protector, the Tibetan community was able to stay in land provided by the Indian Government and continue to practice their language and culture. His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche predicted that one day, the Dharma will flourish in Tibet again. I think the truth is slowly unfolding and people will come to understand who Dorje Shugden is and what this powerful Protector can do.

Dorje Shugden is the best Protector ever! Through His compassion and love, He never stop giving advice and help to all those that came to Him. Even with all the lies and hurtful accusations that are being said about Him. To me that truly show how Great He is! Full of wisdom and compassion no matter what! It is really hurtful that He is being called a demon! How can a Great Buddha, and emanation of the Great Bodhisattva Manjushri be a demon? If He is, then please refer to the facts that clearly shows the opposite! Many of us know that this is not the only post that shows how HHDL escaped Tibet, but also in links that was mentioned in Appendix V. With so many of these posts and facts, there is no doubt that how HHDL left Tibet.
I especially LOVE the part where Dorje Shugden instructed
Changtso of Gyalthang Kharchen Rinpoche (main attendant of Gyalthang Kharchen) to immediately go to Lhoka-Chaksta Drikung Thang, even if he only has 5 or 6 supporters. Dorje Shugden promises to provide them with help if this is carried out.
Following the oracle’s advice, Changtso of Gyalthang Kharchen Rinpoche sets up a base camp at Lhoka-Chaksta Drikung Thang. Subsequently, every time the oracle is consulted, He would tell the person to immediately go to the base camp.
The number of supporters at Lhoka-Chaksta Drikung Thang grows, and a full regiment is formed.
It was so well planned!!How Dorje Shugden instructed the base camp to be build and 'wait' for HHDL and entourage to arrive and escort them out of Tibet.
And also when HHDL went to India to 'build' a relationship with the Prime Minister. Because of the close relationship, 'Tibet' managed to settle there and bloom once again far and wide. Although Tibet is lost, but look on the bright side, we would not be here now if not that. Tibetan Buddhism would not have spread far and wide! Dorje Shugden's practice would not have spread to the height that it is now.
I rejoice that Lobsang Yeshe affidavit is made public to the world and now more people know about the truth. How HHDL made it out of Tibet through Dorje Shugden's divine advice and clairvoyance.

I agree with DS Star that,taking away all the cloak of deception and lies, this affidavit is solid proof that HH Dalai Lama had turned to, and relied on, Dorje Shugden to save him. In a life-threatening crisis, he turned to Dorje Shugden. The implications of this are vast, especially when we have also been told that Nechung had actually advised the Dalai Lama to stay back in Tibet. The Dalai Lama could have listened to Nechung if he had trusted him more. The fact that he chose to listen to Dorje Shugden's advice showed that he trusted Dorje Shugden more.
The thing is, we have been reading about how Nechung has always been relied on for matters of the state by the Dalai Lama. Yet , lately, we have been hearing about the many times that Nechung had given advice, which could have led, as in this case, to a tragic and disastrous consequence of immeasurable magnitude. For if the Dalai Lama had listened to Nechung's advice, he would have perished in the bombing of the Potala shortly after he left Lhasa in his flight from Tibet to India.
The time is closing in for Shugden to take the place of Nechung as the latter exits.

Thanks for highlighting a very important fact that the first Prime Minister of India can empathize with the circumstances of the people in Tibet. Why? India was ruled by British empire and got their independence after fighting for their freedom.
I doubt that politically the Tibetans are a threat to the Indians because size along the Tibetans are very few. If Dalai Lama is wanted by China it would create tension between the relationship between India and China if India take them in. What does Nehru gain from allowing the Tibetan refugees to settle down in India?

Well, looks like the truth is emerging slowly and surely from below the surface. And this document is a strong evidence that Dorje Shugden is really the one who saved the Dalai Lama's life and guided the Dalai Lama and his entourage safely in their escape to India.
It is convincing in the sense that Changtso Lobsang Yeshe was the main attendant to the abbot of Sera Mey Monastery and he was the link between Dorje Shugden (via the Oracle) and the abbot. Changtso Lobsang Yeshe was also present in the audience where Dorje Shugden gave instructions on the escape route to be taken out of China.
From this, it is so clear that Dorje Shugden saved not only the Dalai Lama's life, but also the great teachers teaching the doctrines of Tibetan Buddhism, it's culture and the future generation of Tibetans. It can be said that Dorje Shugden saved Tibet, should the group have not left Tibet, it's for sure Tibet together with its culture and people would have perished from this world.

I truly agree with what you have said! How can Doje Shugden be a spirit/demon when clearly He has helped many through time for so long. What benefit does He get out of helping all those people?
If Dorje Shugden is a spirit, why would He even help HHDL and entourage out of Tibet? Why would He even give so many advice and instructions?
And the best part is, why nobody is saying that the affidavit is false and what was reported is not true? Why? I believe they cant because it the truth!
Even in Trijang Rinpoche's autobiography, many facts were presented and said. Such a High Lama like Trijang Rinpoche does not need to make false accusations! What benefit does He get? Trijang Rinpoche is HHDL' s tutor therefore if He is lying, wont HHDL say something or defend Himself?

Oh dear. From the point you have mentioned, it does appear as if Dorje Shugden was setting the Tibetans up to fail. The Tibetans were arrogant and kept very much to themselves. They detached themselves away from the rest of the world and declined joining the United Nations. If they had been part of the United Nations, they would have received assistant and support when China launched the attack towards Tibet.
Perhaps, Vajrayana Buddhism was meant to go international as the key to preserving Vajrayana Buddhism for the near future where it is needed most. Vajrayana Buddhism had mostly died out in India by the 13th century. At the same time, manifested in Tibet where they were preserved until the Chinese invaded Tibet.
Thanks to the generosity and graciousness of His Excellency Jawaharlal Nehru, the Prime Minister of India who bestowed 24 tracts of land unto His Holiness the Dalai Lama when he entered exile into India, Vajrayana Buddhism has found its way to the world again. The 24 Tibetan Settlements that we know of today was establised by the Tibetan people in exile to preserve their cultural and religious heritage.

Samara keeper, I have the same questions in my mind too as I wonder why His Holiness the Dalai Lama would not want to reveal the fact that it was Dorje Shugden who guided Dalai Lama and his entourage safely to India. However, I have the greatest respect to HHDL, and I am convinced that His Holiness is ever compassionate and what he is doing is purely for the benefit of all beings.
As it is getting more obvious now that Nechung have been giving advices that are not accurate, I am sure more people are getting the real picture of Dorje Shugden instead of being mislead by the CTA.

2 points I gathered from this article which I can apply to my practice:-
1. When consulting divination and advice from the oracle, we should always follow instructions to the tea.
The status of the oracles are defined by the deity they took trance of. We are not talking about ANY oracle here but an oracle (the Panglung oracle) who took trance of an Enlightened Protector such as Dorje Shugden. During trance sessions to consult for divination, the DS oracles were invited by the monasteries like how they would invite a High Lama to the throne which is placed in front of the monastery's main altar. Upon the arrival of the oracle, music and instruments will be played. Everyone in the monastery will rise. Abbots and high ranking monks will make offerings to Dorje Shugden via the oracle.
These are the signs of the oracle's status this article is talking about here.
If war has been carried out as per DS's instructions via the oracle, it would have been made difficult for the Chinese to invade Tibet. Due to disharmony and disregarding the advice, Tibet has fallen in the hands of the Chinese. In our everyday life, we should always be harmonious and be at peace with everyone around us.

2. We should put full TRUST look upon Dorje Shugden as an Enlightened protector and not some common protector who can help us with our spiritual path.
Dorje Shugden has single-handedly saved the whole culture and Vajrayana Buddhism. Without DS's foresight and clairvoyance, all of Vajrayana Buddhism along with the erudite masters and monks may have been lost. DS has foresight and clairvoyance because of DS's past incarnations such as Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen, Panchen Sonam Drakpa, Duldzin Drakpa Gyeltsen had clairvoyance.
Many Mongolian royalties were loyal supporters of HHDL and has made vast amounts of offerings. When HHDL fled Tibet, he must have left billions of treasures and sacred text behind in the Potala Palace. This shows how much trust HHDL have on Dorje Shugden to leave everything behind and put the fate of his life to DS. We too can surrender our little treasures and fate to DS to bring us to a better place in our future lives.

As has been said, Guru Rinpoche's prediction of the fall of Tibet, when "the Tibetan people would be scattered like ants across the world", has come to pass.

There was Nehru to welcome the Dalai Lama and give the Tibetan people a sizeable tract of land.
Furthermore, as predicted by Guru Rinpoche,Tibetan Buddhism went global with the great Lamas spreading it to the four corners. This in term seems to have been brought about by the ban. The ban caused these great masters to flee where the arm of the CTA would not reach them, and bring Tibetan Buddhism to wherever they went.

I must say, we all know that Dorje Shugden was the one behind all these advice that eventually lead HH Dalai Lama safely out of Tibet, but we also really owe India for their generosity for allowing the Tibetan refuges to reside in their country... just imagine if India did not openly welcome the Tibetans at that time, we probably would not have Tibetan Buddhism in the world today...
It is extremely annoying to see the Dalai Lama's CTA operated website twisting the truth for their convenience... Isn't it a severe crime to alter history? No wonder the Tibetans are no where close to getting their country back if their 'government' can't even get their history right... not to mention if they had to lie, they can't even do it skillfully.

Well, looks like the truth is emerging slowly and surely from below the surface. And this document is a strong evidence that Dorje Shugden is really the one who saved the Dalai Lama's life and guided the Dalai Lama and his entourage safely in their escape to India.
It is convincing in the sense that Changtso Lobsang Yeshe was the main attendant to the abbot of Sera Mey Monastery and he was the link between Dorje Shugden (via the Oracle) and the abbot. Changtso Lobsang Yeshe was also present in the audience where Dorje Shugden gave instructions on the escape route to be taken out of China.
From this, it is so clear that Dorje Shugden saved not only the Dalai Lama's life, but also the great teachers teaching the doctrines of Tibetan Buddhism, it's culture and the future generation of Tibetans. It can be said that Dorje Shugden saved Tibet, should the group have not left Tibet, it's for sure Tibet together with its culture and people would have perished from this world.
Not only is Dorje Shugden's advise saved Dalai Lama and the Tibetan people, he also saved CTA. CTA has no reason not to practice Dharma when they have been saved by Dorje Shugden. They are given the opportunity, a second chance, to practice Dharma away from home. As Dalai Lama has given so many Lamrim teaching that one must not cause harm to others sentient beings, that includes Dorje Shugden practitioners.

What is sad and unfortunate is how the Dalai Lama officially denies that it was Gyalchen Dorje Shugden who saved him.
Today on the Dalai Lama's official website he claimed explicitly it was the Nechung Oracle who advised him to escape Tibet. As you correctly pointed out, Nechung in fact gave the advice for the Dalai Lama to remain.

One winter day of 1959 (March 10), General Zhang Chenwu of Communist China extended a seemingly innocent invitation to the Tibetan leader to attend a theatrical show by a Chinese dance troupe. When the invitation was repeated with new conditions that no Tibetan soldiers were to accompany the Dalai Lama and that his bodyguards be unarmed, an acute anxiety befell the Lhasa population. Soon a crowd of tens of thousands of Tibetans gathered around the Norbulingka Palace, determined to thwart any threat to their young leader's life and preventing His Holiness from going.
On 17 March 1959 during a consultation with the Nechung Oracle, His Holiness was given an explicit instruction to leave the country. The Oracle's decision was further confirmed when a divinity performed by His Holiness produced the same answer, even though the odds against making a successful break seemed terrifyingly high.
A few minutes before ten o'clock His Holiness, disguised as a common soldier, slipped past the massive throng of people along with a small escort and proceeded towards the Kyichu river, where he was joined by the rest of the entourage, including some of his immediate family members".

This is not the first time Nechung had given the wrong advice and in fact, Nechung gave the wrong medicine to the 13th Dalai Lama which killed him. And yet here we are, the Dalai Lama and his government still completely trusting a subdued spirit that has erred countless times, and turning their backs on Manjushri.
