I think that whatever the Dalai Lama says, i don't have to necessarily agree with because he's not my root Guru. Whether he disagrees with his gurus or not and whatever is the resulting effects of his actions, he will be the one who will answer for it.

There is a suggestion that if the Dalai Lama has criticised his lineage Gurus, then he is breaking from the lineage, so does that mean that he is no longer a lineage lama so we do not have to follow what he says?

The only thing i know is that i should follow my Guru, who says I shouldn't criticise the Dalai Lama and do my practice well and continuously improve.

If the Dalai Lama can say his guru was wrong, then what's stopping from saying that the Dalai Lama can be wrong also?

Since he starts the 'trend' that we may say such a thing, then it can be reversed back upon him. Since he is the guru of many, those many can say he is wrong in banning the Dorje Shugden practice. Dalai Lama is wrong.

Makes sense?
