Whether he disagrees with his gurus or not and whatever is the resulting effects of his actions, he will be the one who will answer for it. There is a suggestion that if the Dalai Lama has criticised his lineage Gurus, then he is breaking from the lineage, so does that mean that he is no longer a lineage lama so we do not have to follow what he says? The only thing i know is that i should follow my Guru, who says I shouldn't criticise the Dalai Lama and do my practice well and continuously improve. Since he starts the 'trend' that we may say such a thing, then it can be reversed back upon him. Since he is the guru of many, those many can say he is wrong in banning the Dorje Shugden practice.
