The accusation against Dorje Shugden being evil and harmful to Tibetan cause are unfounded and baseless. They are but propoganda by CTA/Tibetan leaderships to cover up their mistakes of advancing the Tibetan cause and providing for their people. It is the most shameful segregation and antipathy towards the own people; literally toying the reputation of Dorje Shugden, an enlightened Dharmapala and masking it all under the good name of Dalai Lama. The shameful actions by the CTA have to be stopped before they cause further damage and suffering to Tibetans at large and bringing Buddhism to degeneration.

Thank you for revealing the truth.

Over the 20 years, there are too much sufferings for the Tibetan monks and also its people. Discrimination, segregration and violence have created too much bad karma and they keep multiplying. I hope, HH Dalai Lama can overturn the situation and lift the ban immediately. No matter what caused the HH Dalai Lama to raise the ban, I do not think it is fair to be paid off by the peoples’ tears and blood.

The Dalai Lama needs to acknowledge who really saved his life and set a good example for the rest of his community and people. Gratitude is the basis of all attainments and unfortunately His Holiness has forgotten how to show gratitude to the teachers who gave him his knowledge, and the deity who gave him his life.

Lobsang Yeshe is right to question the validity of the Dalai Lama’s prohibition of the Dorje Shugden practise especially when it was the protector who helped him escape from Tibet. Nevertheless, the Dalai Lama has always attributed his escape to Palden Lhamo. The question is why? Assuming that Shugden was instrumental to the Dalai Lama’s escape, why would he curb the growth of this beneficial practice? None of the reasons for and against the Dalai Lama and Dorje Shugden make any sense. Does the ban make Shugden’s practice more potent, relevant and easily accepted by the public at large? As much as the Dalai Lama is a leader in exile, Dorje Shugden is a protector in exile. Therefore, why did the Dalai Lama personally ostracize a Buddhist protector putting him in the same position as he is in?

Can we say that the Dalai Lama has cut off a limb from his body, threw it into the ground so that it would sprout and grow a new tree bearing new fruits attracting new admirers and followers?

Something to think about, isn’t it?

“does this revealation really make sense, on one hand you say that trijang rinpoche knowing about the benefits that his holiness the dalai lama would bring to world and dharma he gave the thangka, on the other hand you are saying his holiness is doing harm to the dharma. either your lama trijang is not an enlightened being for having trained and believed in h h the dalai lama or you people are not being true about everything or are being lied about everything.”
Who cares anymore about this dalia lama but a group of misguided self serving protagonist . Common sense is a foundation of Buddhism~ As this man serves himself in his desperate attempt to rewrite history that he could never have committed the murder of a Wisdom Buddha.

I was under the impression that it was the Nechung oracle who was consulted on the time and date to leave Tibet. It is of course possible that this happened through Shugden but that it was Nechung who advised has been the offical story well before any dispute over Shugden broke out in exile and before anyone would have cause to change the story. This information relies on the testimony of a few monks who have been banned from a monastery and should therefore be investigated much more thoroughly before any conclusion is drawn.
Also the thanka that has always been traditionally carried everywhere by the Dalai Lamas throughout their history is that of Palden Lhamo – perhaps he was carrying two thankas but again where is the evidence. We must all learn to think for ourselves and fully investigate before drawing any dramatic conclusions.

Dear Tenpa,

This article does indeed make sense as it clarifies an important aspect of history. Trijang Rinpoche is an enlightened being proven by much history, most importantly his recognized reincarnation is back.

I do not believe that there is any attempt here to provide any untrue information. Trijang Rinpoche has predicted this current situation and has said never to lose faith in Dalai Lama.

Therefore there is much deeper truth on this Ban. It is not as it seems. I choose to see this as a special collaboration to keep the practice alive.

If Dorje Shugden is an evil spirit and can harm HHDL, why?? Did Dorje Shugden save HHDL when HHDL escaped from Tibet.

And why?? There are many high lamas are still relying on Dorje Shugden and promoting Dorje Shugden to their students.

The growth and success of many BIG DHARMA CENTERS WORLD WIDE LARGELY DEPENDED ON DORJE SHUGDEN.
