I wonder if it is some form of teaching in the inconsistency, teaching us not to be attached to our expectation. And now to add to the fray, we have to face CTA's self serving politics that brought so much abuse and sufferings to Shugden practitioners. And they expect China to view them favourably, to trust them with autonomy of Tibet? They can't even be fair to their own people who practise enlightened Dorje Shugden, how can China trust them to practise according to the policy of China, freedom to religious practise including Dorje Shugden. The way I see it, the Dalai Lama and CTA need to be in concert on the status of their demand (CTA had been demanding "Free Tibet" whilst the Dalai Lama says autonomy). And importantly, lift the ban on Dorje Shugden practise and restore all rights of the Shugden practitioners. Change CTA to be people centric rather that self serving policies and be transparent on the financials which are all from donations/sponsorships of foreign countries and individuals. They will need to stop antagonising China and start developing friendly attitude towards China. And be consistent in their actions while China observes. Will they be able to?
