Without the ban, my attention would not have drawn to to Droje Shugden and I would not have known about Dorje Shugden. Maybe that's why the ban seem so illogical and the Dalai Lama used to give illogical reasons like Dorje Shugden will harm his life. The Dalai Lama is the emanation of Chenrezig, and enlightened being. How can an enlightened being be harmed by anyone. This ban has also made me do a bit more reading than I would otherwise have as I kept looking for the real reasons for the ban. And so I learned that much more than i otherwise would have. So, I think in a way, I have to thank the ban for my discovering about Dorje Shugden.
