I have no doubt Dr Andrew Bennet will be stunned to learnt the truth of the religious prosecution amongst the Tibetans in exile by the Dalai Lama clique. If I may add the following to Dr Andrew:

We are concerned about the sustained and systematic repression inflicted on Tibetans in Exile for religious prosecution on Dorje Shugden. We call on you to ask Central Tibetan of Administration for specific and monitorable commitments to lift the religious ban on Dorje Shugden. These should include: freedom of religious practice and expression, association and assembly as well as full investigations into violence on persons practising Dorje Shugden. Let’s help Central Tibetan of Administration become a full fledge human rights Administration.

Its great that there is a new avenue for DS practioners to appeal for help to remove the DS Ban. Many have suffered for more then a decade. All this sufferings must come to an end . DS have helped so many even when there is a ban. Imagine how more beneficial it will be if there is no ban and all can seek DS's help .

In a recent interview (Dec 9th 2013) this is what Ambassador Bennet said,
he is deeply troubled about the Chinese government’s “egregious” treatment of religious minorities, and that he won’t hold his tongue despite growing trade ties between the two countries.

Since becoming Canada’s inaugural ambassador for religious freedom in February, Andrew Bennett has condemned attacks and restrictions on religious minorities in Egypt, Pakistan, Iran and Syria.

But Bennett pulled no punches on China in an interview Monday, saying he remains very worried about the Chinese government’s “unacceptable” treatment of Falun Gong practitioners as well as Buddhist Tibetans, Uighur Muslims and Christians.

If Ambassador Bennet is not pleased with the way the Chinese are treating the Falun Gong, he will be shocked to learn how the "victims" of China's oppression are treating their own people. In many ways, China has already eased off pressure on minority religion adherents but in the case of the Dorje Shugden persecutions, the CTA with the support of the Dalai Lama's Office are still relentless in their efforts to punish Shugdenpas as scapegoats for over half a century of failures.

Ambassador Bennet is a scholarly man and he needs to only look at the CTA's reasons for imposing the religious ban to see that they are baseless and hides instead a far more sinister objective that is to curb dissent against the Dalai Lama's still autocratic style.
