Dorje Shugden although widely practiced within the Gelugs of today, He assists anyone sincere, Gelug or not, Buddhist or not. Sachen Kunga Lodro is the forefather of the current Sakya Trizin. So whatever the current Sakya Throne holder wishes to express or not, it is important to take confidence in Sachen Kunga Lodro.
