It is said that during the Kaliyuga period, the level of degeneration is such that we will not be able to perceive the Buddha or His teachings, even if he was standing before us. This distance created is not by the Buddha but by our karma, which are the fruits of the actions of our body, speech and mind. I do think Dorje Shugden is so important for people who are struggling with their lives and have little resources or opportunity to better themselves. Dorje Shugden is able to alleviate those people who have little hope to give them some way of bettering themselves and it is a spark for the downtrodden and those without hope.
