Through this Enthronement prayers article, i learned that Dorje Shugden can be a Yidam because of His enlightened nature. Also, enthronement is important for us to invite Dorje Shugden into our daily life. 👍😍

Thank you dorjeshugden.com for the explanation making the Enthronement prayer more meaningful. Inviting Protector Dorje Shugden to remain with us to help us overcome obstacles to our dharma practise. Dorje Shugden, being such an enlightened Protector who could be propitiated as a Yidam, is so compassionate that he humbled himself so… “Dorje Shugden is entreated to accomplish whatever purpose that the practitioner requests”. Just as out of Guru devotion and compassion for us to be able to receive the precious teachings of Je Tsongkapa, Dorje Shugden (Duldzin Drakpa Gyeltsen) made the promise to Nechung and then gave his life to fulfil his promise (Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen). Enthroning him in our hearts is absolutely the right way to go for our Dharma practise.

Pabhongkha Rinpoche gave many teachings that has created the foundation of the gelug lineage in today’s world. There are many texts which he authored and composed, and this one is no different. People all around the world study the Lamrim, therefore it gives credibility to this text which he wrote as well. If people study the Lamrim, but doubt the Melodious Drum Victorious in All Directions, then they are basically doubting the credibility of the Lamrim as well.

It is evident from this that Dorje Shugden is more than an enligtened protector.

From the long Dorje Shugden Kangsol composed by Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche, we can know that DS is an enlighten being, which is equal of a Buddha-Yidam, therefore whatever the practitioner offered and pray, we are praying to a Buddha.

The CTA has been non-stop numerously putting down DS and his practitioner. If ones making offerings to a Buddha, then they will collects merits, then if one putting down DS, that person will too collect demerits, cos then taking rebirth in the 3 lowers.

Thank you for the explanation. It does makes my prayers more meaningful and I understand what I am doing. This is very powerful because it helps me seal in the merits which I have accumulated from my practice of Dorje Shugden.

Also to ask Dorje Shugden to remove all my obstacles so that my life could be smoother and be successful in everything I do. With the prayer done sincerely, I’m sure my wish will be granted.

Thank you for sharing the importance and knowledge on enthronement so that we learn how to consecrates statues, images as well as to request Dorje Shugden to stay and to bless a location.

From the enthronement prayer, Dorje Shugden is
1. A fully enlightened monarch and the protector deity who bestows all common and uncommon attainments.
2. Embodying the three refuges – Buddha, Dharma and Sangha
3. Is praised as being equal to the tantric deities as well as a Yidam.
With the above qualities or praises, if Dorje Shugden is a spirit, I am sure he could not last until 300 + years as he would have been “killed” by the three jewels that protect us from spirits when we take refuge in them.

Pabongka Rinpoche is a very high lama with great knowledge. He has taught the Lamrim which is being treated like the bible in the Tibetan school of Buddhism, and He is also the one who composed this enthronement text for Dorje Shugden.

How can such a high master be wrong about the Dorje Shugden practice? If his Lamrim is being used as reference, it only make sense that Dorje Shugden is unmistakeable enlighten Dharma Protector.
