But, what is he protecting? He protects, the stainless teachings of Lama Tsongkhapa. And, he protects our mind and creates conditions for us to get closer to dharma and practice the dharma. Therefore, if you had failed so completely in your business, then you would have been very troubled and been very busy trying to support you family that you would drift further away from dharma. Rejoice to hear of your good fortune and karma to receive Dorje Shugden's assistance. Yes, you are right, Dorje Shugden is supposed to protect us. But, what is he protecting?
