I had a similar experience but luckily no accident. There is this stretch of highway that I always gets sleepy at a certain point and have to try really hard to keep my eyes open. This one day early morning about 3am, it was the same condition and when I almost reach my destination, I suddenly heard a really really loud shout. It was then I realised that I had actually fallen asleep and the car had travelled about 10metres. The moment I woke up I saw a huge splash of murky brown water on my windshield and slid over the top of my car. My hands automatically reached to turn on the wiper but then upon closer inspection, my windshield is not wet at all. I really am thankful to the protector whom I think saved me from something horrible. Nowadays I try not to travel at night. Wow, Ming Chan thanks for sharing your story with us.
