At that time, Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche was the chariot driver Chandra who escorted Buddha Shakyamuni out of the palace to renounce and seek spiritual enlightenment. Later, Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche became a Junior tutor of HH the 14th Dalai Lama. Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche received most of the teachings from HH Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche, then he transmitted most of these teachings to HH 14th Dalai Lama. By looking at Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche’s past lives, Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche is a great master in spreading the dharma significantly.
