His mind transformation resulting in great speech and actions through all his works proves him to be a higly attained Buddhist practitioner and hence rightfully respected by ALL ! It is a great honour for all to have an insight into his life ! Thank you ds.com for sharing his story. HE Choden Rinpoche’s life story is very inspiring. That is amazing, and without any Dharma texts to follow due to chinese oppression. That is really something. With just the simple sincere motivation of practicing Dharma whilst completely renouncing the eight worldly concerns, he spent 19 years in solitary retreat, meditating in a tiny dark and airless room, with nothing but a rosary. Not only that, he was also doing this retreat all the time in bed. Furthermore, he had also learnt to pray without moving his lips! He did the entire retreat, which revolved around meditation on the stages of the Path to Enlightenment ( Lamrim), Tantra and mantra recitation, by just using his mind( his amazing memory and visualization powers)!
