International Tibetan Shugden Community response to CTA’S

I wonder what will Dr Lobsang Sangay say about this and does he have more money to do another documentary? Yes a counter to the CTA trying to further inflict more harm, hate, discrimination, segregation and basically more bull to confuse the already confused Tibetans! You guys really tear your people a part for your own benefit. How silly to see short term!

If so why not use the money to help Tibetans who are suffering from the fire instead of asking for more foreign funds? We know now where the funds are spent!

The motivation of the CTA is very odd and suspicious. If they are really motivated to help the Tibetans in exile, they would be putting the Dorje Shugden ban behind them when the Dalai Lama said that Dorje Shugden cannot harm his life and by inference cannot harm the Tibetan cause.

By inference too there is a lot of vested interest here as they are the only people who will benefit from the ban and a divided community. The old adage of "divide and conquer" really is being upheld here. The Karma Kagyu has 2 17th Karmapa.

If the CTA is really interested in returning to Tibet, they would unite the Tibetans as the people are only strong if they speak with one voice. And, why would the secular body get involved with the spiritual?

Grandmapele, it looks very clear to me that the CTA is certainly not interested to return home to Tibet. At the rate that they are going about and the matters that they are putting their time, effort and money on, the prospect of them ever returning to Tibet seems very bleak. Why would they even want to return when they are leading a comfortable and good life in-exile? Too bad for those naive Tibetans who have placed all their trust on these leaders to get Tibet back from China. What about all the lies and hatred that have been told to them to divide the Tibetans apart? May the sponsors see that their funds were being used to inflict harm, hatred and discrimination.

What you say makes clear sense. Yes why would your government create segregation and further problems amongst Tibetans IF their wish and goal is to return to Tibet. You are already so few after leaving Tibet, why would you divide yourselves further and without solidarity, there is no way you can raise your voice as one Tibet. So it is clear that CTA DO NOT wish to return or have a free Tibet or autonomy, I think they just use Tibet and sadly to say, Dalai Lama as a tool to gave pity and funds from the west, it has become a business for them. What else?

Look if Dalai Lama wants middle way and autonomy, at the rate the CTA is going and what they are doing, antagonising China is NOT going to get them anywhere. It did not get them far for the past 50 years, and it will not get them anywhere now. They can keep on harping. And within the Tibetans you can divide again rangzen and umaylam, one group wants total Independence from China and another to be autonomy (supposedly CTA and Dalai clique) so there you go, Tibetans divided in to 3 categories: Dorje Shugden, Free Tibet Rangzen & Middle Way Umaylam... Great CTA!

The sad truth as it appears is money. The Tibetans have lost their country and are now dependent on the kindness of India and many other countries who support them. They should find ways to make peace with China and support the Tibetans who are in Tibet. Instead, they create a documentary against Dorje Shugden.

Is this really your biggest problem? I think they somehow got lost. Fighting their own people and creating such a deep division in between families, communities, monasteries is really the wrong way to get Tibet back.

Well I hope the ban on Dorje Shugden will be lifted soon! Tibet and the world need Dorje Shugden badly!

After 60 years in exile, CTA is no closer to even gaining a foot hold back into Tibet. Living the life of "Refugee" status had been very, very comfortable (even lucrative) to CTA and their cronies. Being victims and making the Dalai Lama a victim is their profession now. Of course they can't be seen as failures to their people or they may lose their "votes" so they place a ban on Dorje Shugden practice.

Firstly, with one stroke of banning Dorje Shugden as a 'devil' practice, they effectively eliminated dominant high Lamas that may threaten the Dalai Lama's rule, within the Gelug tradition. These high Lamas were making headways into the world and gaining popularity with many students and supporters. And they are not likely to give up Dorje Shugden practices due to their pure Guru Devotion and samaya with their Guru.

Secondly, since CTA failed with the Tibetan cause, they needed to be seen "successful" with something and so the ban on Dorje Shugden to boost their delusional ego. The Tibetans-in-exile coming from a feudal system where the Dalai Lama is highly revered and now in India, as the de-facto "King"/Religious Leader, most placed their hopes on him to bring them back to Tibet. So CTA used the reverence of the Dalai Lama to garner support for themselves against the Shugden practitioners, deflecting the attention away from the Tibetan cause. I think the ban itself may not be as effective but when CTA purposefully linked Dorje Shugden with China then it garnered the attention they wanted. Its amazing how low CTA would go to secure their power, by pitting their own people against each other, by bringing sufferings onto the Shugden Lamas, monks and practitioners and by intentionally inciting the creation of negative karma.

It is heartening to watch the video as Tibetans Shugden practitioners bravely stand up to voice out against the lies of CTA. May the world swiftly realise the pain and sufferings that the Shugden practitioners, especially Tibetans, had to go through. I admire how they endured such sufferings due to their strong spirituality and devotion to their Guru. On the other hand, it was the Dalai Lama's followers who stood out to be vulgar, abusive and totally opposite of the Dalai Lama's teachings of kindness, tolerance and compassion. Om Benza Wiki Bitana Soha, may compassionate Dorje Shugden lift their veil of ignorance and delusion.

It is definitely encouraging that more and more, including Tibetans are boldly speaking up against CTA’s false and misleading information about Dorje Shugden. Credible media platforms, including DS.com, private materials like blogs and websites, as well as video teachings such as the comprehensive “Dorje Shugden: My Side of the Story” by H.E. the 25th Tsem Rinpoche have been and will continue to be instrumental in shedding light on the truth behind the Dorje Shugden controversy but having more voice and support especially from Tibetans themselves will definitely help the cause.

In addition, more videos openly and objectively countering the allegations made in CTA’s ‘documentary’ have recently been released by some students of H.E. the 25th Tsem Rinpoche. Personally, I particularly like how they logically dissected the hollow and contradictory allegations towards Dorje Shugden practitioners by CTA and thereafter proceeded to debunk all the false allegations with logic inference and supporting evidence. I agree with @Celia that it is indeed very encouraging to see more and more people are standing up and speak up to refute the lies by CTA. I strongly believe that high ranking officers like Lobsang Sangye made these kind of videos for their personal political benefits and not for the benefits of Tibetans in Exile. How can ppl like Longsang Sangye literally lies about the Dorje Shugden ban? How can they literally lie that there is no ban?

Why not just lift the ban and unite all Tibetans already?

The real evil in the ban comes from only one person and that is the Dalai Lama.

Everyone points a finger at the CTA and says they are the real evil one behind the ban. I read this over and over again and I just don't see the logic and common sense behind everyone blaming the CTA and total silence about the Dalai Lama the true author of this ban.

The CTA are only puppets to the truly evil one and that is the Dalai Lama.

If the Dalai Lama ordered the ban to end today the CTA would fold theirs hands together and YES DALAI LAMA.

Does anyone believe that they would disobey the Dalai Lama's orders and against his wishes continue with the ban against Dorge Shugden?

NO!!!!

So please lets lay the blame at the feet of the 14th Dalai Lama for all our continued sufferings.
