After all that has been said, one thing that stood out the most was the fact that the Dalai Lama had really built up such tremendous power to sway the people, including governmental personnels. Not meeting with the Dalai Lama is considered a snub and the Scottish Minister Alex Salmond is being criticised for a decision that is his right to make, even by his own people. The spokesman of Mr. Salmond is quite correct that the Dalai Lama is visiting in his religious capacity and as such he is well met by the officer representing the faith communities in non-political basis.

With the Dalai Lama's power hold on all the politicians, why had he not been able to bring forth any improvement to the living condition of his people in exile? Where had all millions in donations gone to? His government CTA is only focus on living the good live and making the lives of Shugden practitioners suffer as much as they possibly can. So why would Mr. Salmond need to meet the Dalai Lama?

Mr Alex Salmond certainly have Scotland's interest in mind when he chose not to meet with HHDL during his Scotland visit. He have to be very cautious not to step on the toes of big power China so as not to jeopardize the good business relationship which would bring in revenue to the people Scotland. After all, it is so obvious to the whole world now, HHDL would preach peace and harmony at every country and yet there are Tibetans suffering under the CTA rule in India for worshipping Dorje Shugden.

So it seemed to me that even though His Holiness is the Ambassador of Peace, the message that he is giving to the world does not hold because his own citizens are not granted that peace and harmony.
