Press Release from Ghum Dun Gon Samten Choaling Association
« on: September 01, 2014, 11:35:46 AM »
Good that the associations who hold the Domo Geshe properties are working together to share information and helping each other in times of crisis when Samten Choeling Monastery is being threatened by a take over by people who have no right of claim for that monastery at all.

They never took care of it previously and now the caretaker has passed away they want a piece of the action.

This is plain predatory behaviour by the CTA and their goons.

Correction: It's Gaden Choeling Monastery in Phedong that was threatened, not Samten Choeling.

It's really sad to see such dispute happening between the two parties. The ban has really created something so ugly, making people be very greedy of possession and power that they would wrongfully claim what is not theirs.

If there was no ban, such incident would not happen as Domo Geshe Rinpoche's monasteries would be in harmony with each other. It is a huge disappointment that Tharpa Choeling would abandon their teacher and side with the Dalai Lama...
