Modern Slavery is Worse

Modern slavery and historical slavery. Same thing under different circumstances and names. Is it karma, the result of cause and effect? What can these people do under these circumstances? Well, there are some who manage to escape but for the majority trapped in it, they have to live out their karma.

So, what does that tell us? That it is time to read and understand the Wheel of Sharp Weapons. Time to do something about our lives while we can. Time to maybe help a little to educate wherever we can so as to help reduce chances of such incidences. Some people don't even know they are slaves. So, promoting films on slavery in all it's forms, especially modern form, will hopefully avert the worse karma for some people as they become aware. I always believe if everybody does a little bit, then it may amount to something significant, for this life and beyond.

Slavery and inequality had always been there ever human civilization exists.
Globalization of our modern world is another good example of how the rich exploited the third world countries for its cheap labor and resources. Children and woman in third world countries will have to continue to works in adverse condition and poverty. Mega animal farm will continue chunk out billions of animal to satisfy our pallet. Massive rain forest will be cleared to plant crops as animal feed. All these arise from our urge and desire to own material things at cheaper price. Take a good look at our surrounding you would notice that we hardly get things repair any more because we could get them cheaper than the cost of repair! In the old days company and workers take pride in producing goods that lasted for decade and repairable.
As long as the “I” had existed, modern slavery and inequality will persist.
