ATTENTION CTA
« on: January 25, 2014, 08:21:31 AM »
The various histories of Dorje Shugden are completely irrelevant to the situation at hand. Completely!

You should feel ashamed of yourselves for harming living beings, encouraging people to harm others, abusing human and religious rights, causing schism in the Holy Sangha, and bringing the BuddhaDharma into severe disrepute. Shame on you!

Even my 3 yr old son knows it is inappropriate to harm others.

Please follow in the footsteps of Buddha Shakyamuni and be gentle with living beings, your Mothers, life is hard enough without you doing everything you can to make it worse.

I know that each of you has a kind heart, and that you know your actions are wrong. You are being tormented by excessive self-interest, but I have faith that you can stop your non-virtuous actions and do everything in your power to make life better for people, uplift their heavy hearts, please, they need you.

If you don't like Dorje Shugden, stop paying attention to him. Surely you have more important things to focus your dwindling life energy on, such as meditating on Lamrim, and being good to everyone you can. You can do it! The Buddhas are cheering for you, raining their blessings into your hearts, hoping that you will finally connect with the meaning of your life - to serve others with unwavering goodness!

Come back to the light. Each of you are deeply loved.

Thank you for coming back to the virtuous path. It is wonderful to see you being so good to others and encouraging everyone to be good to each other. Thank you for your kindness.

I totally agree with @psy especially this:

If you don't like Dorje Shugden, stop paying attention to him.

There are many people who worship demons and harm others, why CTA does not stop them? Why Dorje Shugden practitioners who practice peace and helping others, CTA you want to disturb them? Dorje Shugden practitioners are your citizens too. Why do you want to harm your own people?

Many of the so-called "facts" are lies made up by CTA, with the motivation to suppress the practice for Dharma. CTA created schism among the sangha community too. Do you know how heavy is the negative karma? May be it is time CTA should really spend time to improve the quality of life of your citizens...

Psylo you are very compassionate... you can forgive, we can forgive, but we can only forgive those who want to be forgiven. Dorje Shugden himsself will forgive to I believe... if this STOP!

What pissed me off was that they spents hundreds of thousands and i wont be surprised millions on anti - Dorje Shugden campaign, for instance the recent "PRINTING" of the anti-Dorje Shugden book created by that funny Khenpo from Gaden Shartse who is all about "self-love", (that's why Gaden Shartse monks are requesting him to resign, because he has done nothing good and positive to help his own monastery). But instead spend time passionately writing anti-Shugden book and asking the Dalai Lama to launch it/give blessings at a "Lamrim" teachings??? What on earth is wrong with these people and picture? If you don't know what I'm talking about watch here http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/the-controversy/27-minute-speech/

Why not spend that good money, sponsored by donors to print more Dharma books like the Lamrim???

Has Lamrim teachings now become opportunities for political agendas?

CTA do you not realise you are literally destroying yourselves? And if you would just STOP this BAN and propoganda... you would probably have more followers supporting you... which is what you need.
Not a very cleaver strategist planner are you Lobsang Sangay. Please stop shooting yourselves in the foot.

Many will speak up and it has started... http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/news/video-response-to-dalai-lamas-speech/

CTA should stop all the harming act. CTA's act is against the Buddhism practice. Buddhism is about compassion and peace. As Dalai Lama has posted on FB mentioning that “I consider non-violence to be compassion in action. It doesn’t mean weakness, cowering in fear, or simply doing nothing. It is to act without violence, motivated by compassion, recognising the rights of others.”

Therefore, CTA should recognised the rights of those who choose Dorje Shugden(DS) practice and respect their choice. Stop the violence and concentrate on efforts to promote Buddhism to the world. Continuing of violence will only harm your own reputation and support.

Unfortunately the CTA will not stop their harmful actions, because they know perfectly that all the facebook dalie lame “compassion” and “non-violence” talk is just  lame lies to deceive gullible facebook fans. Therefore, they (the CTA) will stick to the way of violence fully knowing that the evil dalie fully supports it

It's not really the CTA's fault. The CTA only listens to the Dalai Lama and doesn't dare to contradict the Dalai Lama, after all, the Dalai Lama is a Buddha and cannot be wrong, right? So until the CTA grows some massive cahones, it is unlikely that the Dorje Shugden ban will be lifted. It is ironic though that by lifting the Dorje Shugden ban, the CTA will gain a lot of respect from the majority of the Tibetan community who do understand this strange edict.

Fully agreed with psylotripitaka.
As CTA roles are to govern the Tibet of Exile, I am sure CTA has a lot of important responsibilities to handle rather than creating hatred and disharmony between its people. You should spend more time to unite the people, take care of the economy, social, education of the country. There are a lot of works there. The people of Tibet of Exile need you to look into policies, ways to take care of them, serve them and give them a better life. They need you be in actions to work on that and please do not waste your time to pay attention to Dorje Shugden. You have better things to work on rather than spending your time on banning Dorje Shugden.
Please focus you energy on the right things and stop disturbing the Dorje Shugden practitioners!

Actually, this childish game of offering unasked advice to the “CTA” is rather useless, if not ridiculous.

To start with, it is not the “CTA“ behind this ban, but rather just the evil dalai, and the “CTA” cares only about the evil dalai or whoever gives them money and power, not about anyone here, let alone about priestly-sounding self-appointed advisors.

To continue, issuing such a pompous advisory to the “CTA” is just an indirect way of saying that the evil dalai is so “holy” and not to be blamed for the ban, which shows the highly hypocritical nature of the initiative -- not unlike the preposterous Shartse “abbot” pretending to make bridges from the evil dalai's side, just for the sake of self-promotion.

If what one wants is to feel cozy with the evil dalai, one should be sincere with oneself, follow the evil dalai, and stop blaming the “CTA” for the ban.

Not only wasted time and money on fighting the unrealistic matter, harming own brothers and sisters who stayed in the same refugees camps!
Worst, bring this issues as distraction matter that practicing Dorje Shugden are equivalence to support China.
Worst, send all the idiots patrolling on web like Twitter to continue suspend accounts that talk on Dorje Shugden!
CTA! Truth is truth and always cant be hide, face it with courage!

I would totally disagree with this. The CTA is completely to blame. Every single member of the CTA has a choice whether or not to be a part of the body that persecutes its people or a part that stands against this wrong. As I understand it, the CTA portrays itself to the world as a democratic administration staffed by elected representatives of the Tibetan people. This means they entered government willingly and on a promise to safeguard the welfare of the people who elected them into power. And in any democratic government the voice of the people is heard through their elected representatives. If this is true, the Shugden worshippers should also be represented in the CTA. But instead we see a CTA staffed by people who assist the Dalai Lama in persecuting and robbing Shugden Tibetans of their right. They do this knowingly and seemingly without care because we do not hear even one CTA politician speaking out against the ban. It is not even about whether one subscribes to Dorje Shugden as a Protector or not. it is about the right of the people to practice their belief.

Lobsang Sangay is by far the worst and most obscene personification of fraud and hypocrisy. He is supposed to be a human rights expert who is trotting the world in sty;e preaching freedom and democracy whilst being a very sinister component of the ban. Recently he was heard telling Tibetans that they are not doing enough the protect the Dalai Lama from Shugden worshippers. That was mean to incite anger in the people. Is he not to blame?

If that is not the case, then the CTA

I know it is not right to be bashing the government headed by His Holiness Dalai Lama, but CTA should be guilty of causing the fall of Buddhism from within. Look at the consequences of the mindless ban on Dorje Shugden imposed by CTA. Families are split and friends are divided, the worst being the holy sangha members being fractioned into non-Shugden and Shugden practitioners. Enough damage have been done already and it's time to stop all the hostilities and really start practicing all the peace and harmony that your beloved leader is always preaching about.

You will be surprised what Asian Tribute writes about "Religious Intolerance".  Given that the country is India, and these pro-ban people who are living in India, they must abide to Indian laws, they should be prosecuted for religious intolerance regardless of who they are.  CTA if you are not careful and continue with your stance of Dorje Shugden, you can be punished by the law.

"Freedom of religion in the Indian subcontinent is exemplified by the reign of King Piyadasi (Asoka) (304 BC to 232 BC). One of King Asoka's main concerns was to reform governmental institutes and exercise moral principles in his attempt to create a just and humane society. Later he promoted the principles of Buddhism, and the creation of a just, understanding and fair society to be held as an important principle for ancient rulers.

What he probably desired was for his Kingdom to be at peace with itself and with others. In other words, a state of social equilibrium and religious harmony to exist within and without.

In sociology, a system is said to be in social equilibrium when there is a dynamic working balance among its interdependent parts. In this context one could argue that religion and religious tolerance may be considered key components in a society, and that religious intolerance could beget social inequillibrium, as much as social inequillibrium could be brought about by misuse of religious tolerance.

Religious intolerance rather is when a group (e.g., a society, religious group, non-religious group) specifically refuses to tolerate practices, persons or beliefs on religious grounds, and demonstrates intolerance of practice, which could also be through physical activism.

Within those countries that openly advocate religious tolerance there remain debates as to the limits of tolerance. Some individuals and religious groups, for example, retain beliefs or practices which involve acts contrary to established law. This cannot be tolerated whatever type of perceived intolerance is there in a country. The law of the land must prevail over any form of protest, either religion oriented, economic oriented or political oriented. If the law is perceived to be insufficient to meet particular situations that create social inequillibrum, then the law has to be changed first so that protests can be within the law.

Those violating the law must then be punished irrespective of who they are."

I hope that India will take some kind of action to STOP the Ban and discrimination of Dorje Shugden practitioners. I why they've taken no strong actions against the Tibetan exile govt. who creates nothing "extra" to help India in any way, in fact they create more problems and chaos for them. I've not heard the Tibetan Govt building more schools, of bettering the social welfare of India, has anyone?  Instead they give tension and more headaches to India with their "FREE TIBET" campaigns, putting India at a difficult place in creating ties with China.

I am sure there are some who have taken sides and allowing such nonsense i.e. the Ban to take place, though I am hoping to see the true India and a change in the so people can all live in peace and without fear of openly practising what they belief!

Tibetans have no country, they are now refugees in so many people's country, the least they can do is create harmony amongst themselves and stop shaming Buddhist.  Since when following His Holiness the Dalai Lama's advice allows one to create harm and violence upon others?

They do not have their citizens interest in mind. Instead of spending the money on uplifting the lives of the Tibetans the money is being channeled to segregating, and creating dissension among Tibetan Buddhists. This is a great disrespect and disregarding Buddhism and the teachings. Whatever they are doing is totally opposite of the teachings.

Even non-Buddhists can do better than CTA in human rights and providing harmonious environment for the well beings of their citizens. CTA in fact is taking the advantage of the ban as a means of influencing and exerting more control over the Tibetans. If the Tibetans are not going to voice their disapproval of the ban they are going to in for more hurt and lesser and lesser freedom in future. Democracy is the poison of CTA political control over the Tibetans in exile. 'Democracy' has become a label for CTA to cover I can do as I like over Tibetans.
