1 meter Shugden image is beautiful!

Yesterday my 1 meter Dorje Shugden statue arrived finally. I was so pleased and so was my husband and elder son. We have been practicing Dorje Shugden under the auspices of our root guru Geshe Kelsang for a few years now. We have experienced nothing but benefits. We have been looking for a peaceful Dorje Shugden image for a while now as the fierce form concerns my mother in law. We found this form on your online site. Thank you.
We have heard there is a tradition of peaceful looking Dorje Shugdens but images of this type are rare as many prefer the wrathful form.

The beautiful image arrived safely and without any damage. We are going to make a special cabinet after the holidays for him.

If the 10th Panchen Lama who is 2nd to HH Dalai Lama... who is officially the rightful leader and successor if HHDL is not around... can write a prayer on Dorje Shugden... surely we can trust with further logical conviction that Dorje Shugden is not a demon. So what is HHDL gonna say? HH Panchen Lama is WRONG also?

So basically the whole entire pantheon of high Lamas and attained masters are all wrong except HH the Dalai Lama? I definitely do not buy in to this excuse and reason for this prayer is one of the many truths that presents the truth. How much more twisted reasons can Dalai Lama come up with. You can't say that someone so highly attained like the Panchen Lama is wrong and has no clairvoyant to see who is Dorje Shugden really, let alone compose a prayer to Dorje Shugden.

Or we could also take the same approach and say well His Holiness you could be wrong too... like you said you were wrong about the DS practice in the beginning, you could also be wrong again now.... nothing seems logical anymore when we go that route.

I am sure they have artists who can provide such services at a reasonable suggested sum. After all it is a nice offering the funds to the eshop goes towards the upkeep, maintenance and support to those who work hard on this site.

If you are interested in the "peaceful" looking one, I suppose you can make a special request, do write to them and ask?

Beautiful statue! I have one too but mine is just a small little statue that I bought from this online store. I am really glad that the people behind this website has made such wonderful job of making these objects of worship to be available to people from all over the world. I really love my statue and I make incense, serkyem and tealight offerings almost daily to my statue. I rejoice and I hope to save up for a bigger one soon, real soon.

I truly agree with you!! This website is fantastic. I was really happy when I came across the site as the information are really great coz they are updated very often. So much to read. Everyday, I would come home from work and hoping to see new posts.
And I agree with you again, information in this website is very crucial and important to bring down the ban (yes, unfair and cruel) and to educate people who do not understand and they get to learn so much, like me.   
When more people understand, then more people will start to question why the ban, why the cruelty, why they ostracize and many more.

You and your family are so fortunate Gloria. I have only a photo of Dorje Shugden. Every year when I receive my year end bonus, I put some aside so that one day soon, I will be able to invite a 1meter statue home too.

This is the first time I am seeing a big statue of Dorje Shugden in such a peaceful face. In the past, it has always been a wrathful face. This will make it easier for me to invite home as I live with my 84 year old grandma and she is not accustomed to a wrathful Buddha.

I rejoice for Gloria J. I have an 18" statue of our protector Dorje Shugden and it is beautiful. All the Buddha statues are beautiful.  Mine is a peaceful version of the Protector too and it was a gift from a group of special friends. Also, I have a poster of the peaceful form, many tsatsas, big and small. I can open a shop soon LOL. Just kidding. I will give away some of the tsatsas and even my present statue when I get a bigger one. It is meritorious to offer statues and tsatsas to others for these are enlightened Buddhas.

You are so fortunate Gloria to invite this beautiful statue of our Protector to your home.  I do not have the merits to be in the presence of a 1-Meter high statue. I too should plan to keep aside some money so that my wallet gets thicker and nearer to the day when I will be able to invite such a nice statue to my home to dedicate to my family members.

The artist has done a wonderful job.  So much care and love put into "beautifying" the statue and making it look so alive.
