On October 16, 2016 Tsem Tulku wrote an article about Methar a Dharmapala in Dorje Shugden's retinue.

Here is a link to that article.

I found something that Wang Wai Meng wrote at the very bottom of the replies on this post very interesting.

“Wan Wai Meng on Oct 16, 2016 at 4:16 pm
……..What is also interesting, was that METHAR STOLE THE LIFE ESSENCE OF THE ORGANS, which was the method HE harmed others …… PROBABLY HE CAUSED ORGAN FAILURE, which leads to the death of the TARGETED PERSON….”

Tsem Tulku died of organ failure on Sept. 04, 2019.

General Discussion / Did Tsem Tulku's Protector FAILED to heal him!!!
« Last post by Harold Musetescu on April 25, 2020, 12:34:11 PM »
On June 24, 2019 Tsem Tulku posted an article titled "How my Protector HEALED me".

A little over two months later Tsem Tulku was dead and the question must be asked.

Did Tsem Tulku's  Protector fail to HEAL him of his liver disease?

I find it interesting that there is no mention in this article what "Protector", Tsem Tulku was talking about.

Why was the "Protector's" name omitted from this article?

You would think that Tsem Tulku would have publicly proclaimed the "Protector" and his wonderful HEALING powers.

Was he speaking about Dorje Shugden or another "Protector"?

Tsem wrote in this article

"A few years ago my Chinese TCM doctor discovered something wrong in my liver and asked me to go for Western medical checkup. It appeared that I had some hardening of my liver, which if left untreated or just the way it is can turn into something more terminal. So that diagnosis came out and I was put on a diet and given special medication for that. During that time, my students contacted Choje-la’s assistants, asking that the next time he takes trance, to please ask the dharma protector if there’s any pujas, or any recourse or what should be done for me.".......

"So, Choje-la arrived in Malaysia and took a special trance just for me and during the trance session, the dharma protector was very gracious, loving and extremely kind to me. He sat me down and did healing by placing his hands over my affected area – the liver, and did some rituals on it and some motion of extracting something from it and on top of that, he took some rice and blessed it and asked me to drink it immediately, and also gave me more blessed rice to soak in water to drink for one week daily. He also recommended a series of pujas and some special mantras that I needed to recite myself. I was amazed and grateful.".......

"The incredible thing was a few months later, I went to Singapore for a check up. To the doctor’s amazement, there was tremendous healing that had happened in my liver. The healing is not forever and if I don’t take care, it could come back. But when I went back at that time, the doctor was amazed that the healing process could be so quick, so clear and so definitive. So that doctor actually asked me what did you do? What happened? So I jokingly told him that I have a Tibetan monk friend who is also a Tibetan doctor herbalist and he did things to help me get well. I had students who came with me witnessed all of these. I am grateful to Choje-la for helping me in a time of need, in a time that I was not well…"

So the question must be asked did Tsem Tulku die because his "Protector" failed him?

On June 24 2019 Tsem Tulku declared to the world "My Protector had healed me" and on September 04, 2019 he was DEAD.

Here is the link to that article.

I find it strange the lack of public information on Tsem Tulku's death.

I have be waiting since his death in September 2019 for information from this Ladrang.

I would have thought that there would have been an article on his website from his Ladrang but nothing.

They continue to republish previous articles but nothing about how he died.

I hope that they will publish an in depth article about the circumstances of his passing.

I pray for the swift return of our beloved guru Tsem Tulku Rinpoche.

I have for a very long time considered H.E. Tsem Tulku the head of the Dorje Shugden lineage.

There was no one more present in the world wide fight for Dorje Shugden.

Just my humble opinion about the great Tulku, Tsem Rinpoche.

I pray for his swift return.

General Discussion / The Nyingmas to stop appointing a head of lineage?

The Nyingmas to stop appointing a head of lineage? Reading the opinion piece by Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche celebrating the decision makes me realise what a logical reason for it and so true, how things have change and so shall certain systems which are clearly created during the time it was needed.

But, yes there is a "but", this is not to say that the Gelug school should follow suit, but rather should follow what our original lineage master/founder Lama Tsongkhapa prescribed, which for the Gelugs, I do believe it is very democratic on how one ascends to the throne as Lama Tsongkhapa on earth, which is clearly based on one's hard work, knowledge, discipline and merits. So having said that, we should all note that still, each students' responsibility is to uphold and follow their OWN Guru, who is their Vajradhara, instructions.

However, this is a good read and I do agree with Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche because he makes sense. Don't you agree?

A message from Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche regarding the decision of stopping to appoint the Lineage Holder from the Nyingma Tradition.

In the midst of the heart-breaking news about Australia’s bushfires and the Wuhan coronavirus, I finally got one piece of good news, at least for myself individually. That was hearing the Nyingmapa decision to stop appointing a rinpoche as a head lineage holder of the Nyingma tradition.

It is worth remembering that the whole phenomenon of “lineage head” or even monastery head comes from our human need for organization, hierarchy, accountability and so on. And like all human systems, such endeavors have brought some benefits but also a lot of confusion.

In the case of Tibetan Buddhist hierarchies, the matter is complicated further by the tantric concepts of “guru” and “root guru”. As a result, many people then can’t differentiate between a personal guru and a lineage head. But the head of a lineage or tradition is not necessarily one’s root guru. So it creates enormous confusion when people mix up their spiritual journey guided by their personal guru with mistakenly thinking they have to do whatever their lineage head says.

Throughout the history of Tibetan Buddhism right until modern times, the idea of a single head of the Nyingma lineage was completely unknown. Each monastery did have its own head, and some large and powerful ones like the Kathok and Mindroling monasteries had strong spiritual and temporal influence. But it is worth noting that many of the greatest masters like Longchenpa, Jigme Lingpa, and Patrul Rinpoche, who have had the most significant influence on the Nyingma lineage, traditions and teachings, never held any seats as powerful monastic, lineage or organization heads.

The custom of a single person becoming head of the whole Nyingma lineage emerged only in the 1960s. Given the situation at that time, this innovation may have served its purpose back then. But it is increasingly evident that this new custom has forced people like me to wonder whether its previous benefits may now be greatly outweighed by the harm and confusion such a position has created in recent times.

In the days of Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche, Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and the like, such masters were as immovable as mountains, as unfathomable as the ocean, and as immeasurable as the sky. And so, their reigns as lineage heads were textbook models of Sun Tzu’s general in the Art of War, who maintains unquestionable authority without ever appearing to be involved.

The chances of having such a leader in this day and age are very slim indeed. For better and for worse, as we all know, the world has changed so much in the last 25 years. While it used to take years to bring the teachings of the Buddha to eager aspirants, it now takes just a few moments to Livestream teachings to students who don’t have direct access. But likewise, things that used to take ages to degenerate and corrupt can now be corrupted in the blink of an eye.

For all these reasons, the recent decision, announced by the Nyingma Monlam Committee and inspired by the wise advice of Kyabje Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche, to discontinue the recent custom of appointing a rinpoche as lineage head is such welcome news.

For someone who is genuinely following a spiritual path for the sake of enlightenment, nothing much if anything at all is lost as a result of this decision. After all, such individual practitioners will always have their guru – who may be the simplest yogi or monk or nun – in their hearts and heads as the most supreme master.

At the same time, we have learned a lot by seeing the minimal secular benefit of having a lineage head getting greatly outweighed by the sickening jealousy, divisions, competitiveness, mistaken views, and deluded narrow-mindedness such positions can create. As a result of what we’ve witnessed, I am not the only one who now sees the need for drastic changes if we are to effectively propagate and preserve the Buddhadharma in general and Tibetan Buddhism in particular.

The changes that are needed will require tremendous courage, boldness, and open-heartedness, but I now have a little reason to be optimistic that we may actually see such changes start to happen. If we are even to embark on that huge task, then this decision by the Nyingma Monlam Committee is a very, very good beginning.

Well here is an interesting outcome and very much welcomed I believe. Well, I rejoice for them. Finally, they can reunite everyone. We are experiencing so much chaos as the world degenerates, it's time for true Dharma practice to flourish and let true leaders be leading examples beyond greed, bias, and the injustice of power-hungry leaders who only cares nothing but themselves. May the victory of the pure lineages prevails as the Buddhas intended.

Two Karmapas to Work Together in Search for Shamar Rinpoche Reincarnation

Ogyen Trinley Dorje and Trinley Thaye Dorjee, the two widely recognized claimants of the title of Karmapa, the most important reincarnation line in the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, have announced plans to jointly identify the reincarnation of the 14th Sharmapa, Mipham Chokyi Lidro, who passed away in Germany on 11 June 2014. The announcement is aimed at helping to solidify the unity between the two leaders, who have been at the heart of a controversy concerning who is the rightful 17th Karmapa.

“It is extremely important that Shamar Rinpoche’s reincarnation be recognized without any mistake or confusion, without any “our side” or “their side.” Having a unanimous recognition is absolutely crucial for Buddhism in general and our lineage in particular, and with this in mind, Gyalwa Thaye Dorje and I intend to cooperate in the search and recognition,” Ogyen Trinley Dorjee said on Sunday at the 37th Kagyu Monlam in Bodh Gaya, India. (Phayul)

He continued: “I see the reincarnation of Shamar Rinpoche as a crucial point for bringing unity to the Kamtsang and am putting effort into it. If the reincarnation of Shamar Rinpoche is disputed, in the future all the Kamtsang high lamas will be disputed and the Kamtsang will be completely split. The attachment and hatred will be the same as in a feud that lasts for generations. If we fall under its power, all the majesty and power of over 900 years of history will be destroyed.” (Phayul)

Kamtsang refers to the lineage of the Karmapas and, by extension, their followers.

The announcement represents a further step to overcome the decades-long division within the Karma Kagyu lineage. The last move was in 2018, when the two Karmapas met for four days in rural France and issued a joint statement declaring a wish to develop a lasting personal connection to heal rifts within the community.*

Shamar Rinpoche, also known as the Shamarpa, is another influential lineage of reincarnated lamas in the Kagyu tradition, dating to Drakpa Senge (1283–1349), who was a student of the third Karmapa. Historically, the two lineages have held close ties and the Karmapas and Sharmapas have often acted as alternating teachers and disciples.

The Karmapa is the head of the Karma Kagyu subsect of the Kagyu lineage, one of the four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism. The other main schools are Gelug, Nyingma, and Sakya. The institution of the Karmapa is the oldest tulku lineage in Tibetan Buddhism, beginning with the first Gyalwa Karmapa, Düsum Khyenpa (1110–93). The lineage predates that of the the Dalai Lamas by more than two centuries. The majority of Tibetan Buddhists recognize Ogyen Trinley Dorje as the 17th Karmapa, while an influential minority recognizes Trinley Thaye Dorje.

For those of you who don't know the "Gaden Phodrang Trust" is the "Private" office of the 14th Dalai Lama.

https://savetibet.org/tibet-press-watch-winter-2012/
Quote
His September 24, 2011 statement says, “If it is decided that the reincarnation of the Dalai Lama should continue and there is a need for the Fifteenth Dalai Lama to be recognized, responsibility for doing so will primarily rest on the concerned officers of the Dalai Lama’s Gaden Phodrang Trust.” The Gaden Phodrang Trust is a reference to the formalization of the office that is currently the “Office of H.H. the Dalai Lama.”

Given that the Chinese Government uses religious institutions to serve its political ends and given the central role of the Dalai Lamas in Tibetan spiritual life, the statement categorically says, “Bear in mind that, apart from the reincarnation recognized through such legitimate methods, no recognition or acceptance should be given to a candidate chosen for political ends by anyone, including those in the People’s Republic of China.”
Unquote

So the "Concerned Officers" of the Dalai Lama's "Gaden Phodrang Trust" are HIS handpicked members of his "PRIVATE" office.

Now via the 17th Karmapa the Dalai Lama is telling the Sakya, Nyingma, Kagyu and Bon sects they must be officially part of finding his reincarnation.

This way they are publicly forced to accept the Gaden Phodrang Trusts 15th Dalai Lama that they them selfs help to find and recognized.

They will be sending a message to the Chinese Government that they will not accept a Chinese recognized 15th Dalai Lama.

They will after this recognition all bow to the new anti Dorje Shugden 15th Dalai Lama.

The 14th Dalai Lama has now screwed the Sakya, Nyingma, Kagyu and Bon Sects via the 17th Karmapa's public letter.
98
Is the Dalai Lama starting to force other Tibetan Buddhist sects to accept who will pick the next 15th Dalai Lama.

It may have already started with the 17th Karmapa Oygen Thinley Dorje.

On November 27, 2019 he publicly agree to accept the Dalai Lama's "Gaden Phodrang Trust" in particular the "Concerned Officers" giving them the primary responsibility for recognizing the next 15th Dalai Lama.

The tradition in the past was that the Panchen Lama was to find the next incarnation and not the "Gaden Phodrang Trust.

This would mean that the 11th Chinese Panchen Lama would have been task in locating and enthroning the 15th Dalai Lama.

But no more it seems.

In his letter the 17th Karmapa states on pages 4 and 5 the following.

Quote
As this statement makes it clear, there is no need to mention the primary responsibility for recognizing the rebirth lies with the concerned officers of the Dalai Lama's "Gaden Phodrang Trust........Thus, the support and concensus of the high lamas who head the lineages of Tibetan Buddhism, including the Yungdrung Bon.....is essential".

Now the 17th Karmapa is publicly stating that the other sects MUST officially get involved with recognizing the next 15th Dalai Lama.

This action would be a slap in the face of the Chinese Government who have declared that they will recognize the next 15th Dalai Lama.

It appears that the Dalai Lama has now declared WAR with the Chinese Government.

Is the 17th Karmapa saying all this freely or is he the puppet to the Dalai Lama and the CTA?

Why did he chose to make this public statement at this time?

It should be the Dalai Lama publicly stating the other sects MUST also publicly recognize the "Gaden Phodrang Trust's" 15th Dalai Lama and NOT the Chinese Governments pick.

It is not the Dalai Lama telling the other sects what they must do but the 17th Karmapa acting as the Dalai Lama's mouth piece.

The Dalai Lama is seeking to stop a Chinese 15th Dalai Lama who like the Chinese 11th Panchen Lama pro Dorje Shugden.

Here is a link to an article written by the 17th Ogyen Thinley Dorje Dalai Lama were he makes the public statement.

General Discussion / Re: Lobsang Sangay, See You in Court!

Is this good news or is it GREAT NEWS for exile Tibetans hu?

Very interesting article here... according to this news, it is confirmed that the dear Sangay will definitely not be in the next election in 2021. Totally no chance to continue creating havoc!?!?! it is as if he is not allowed to run for President ever again. I wonder where this instructions came from... His Holiness the Dalai Lama? Most probably as we all know His Holiness still has the final say.

Well, I'll cheers to that, because honestly LS is such a huge disappointment! In the beginning we thought there is a real genuine thinker, someone who came from Harvard, surely he can be rational and not discriminate his own people and mix religion and politics, but he did you that all for the sake of probably some extra big pocket money. Sad to say, another corrupt snake that did nothing for the exile Tibetans nor the Tibetans in TAR oh except encourage their deaths! Disgusting, I hope he is proud of his legacy.

Former North America Representative and Former Speaker of TPiE Penpa Tsering and former Minister for Security of CTA, Dongchung Ngodup are also said to be in contention for the top office of the Tibetan polity although such claims could not be independently verified at the moment.

The incumbent President Dr. Lobsang Sangay who is serving his second term will not feature in the next elections meaning the top office of the Tibetan polity will have a new face come 2021.

What a huge slap on LS's face... no more chance to con poor Tibetans in exile. I guess His Holiness has had enough of him. However, we need to watch to see if Penpa will run, it would just a bad and LS if he is going to attack Dorje Shugden Lamas and people. He is another one to be careful. He spoke really badly about Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche our lineage father.

Here is a link to a letter that the 17th Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje wrote on November 27, 2019.

The letter speaks about his official position about the process of finding the next 15th Dalai Lama.

What I find interesting is that he is publicly speaking out about the future death of the 14th Dalai Lama.

Why is the 17th Karmapa officially discussing this very serious matter at this time?

Could he be hinting that the present Dalai Lama he is very ill and could die soon?

Did the Dalai Lama ask the 17th Karmapa to support his position on the process of finding his next reincarnation and not the Chinese Governement's?

It appears that the 17th Dalai Lama is in full support of the Dalai Lama's position on how to find his next reincarnation.
