Title: CTA should stop being arrogant
Post by: Rowntree on June 05, 2018, 06:09:31 PM
It looks like the Chinese have the upper hand in the bilateral ties. It is getting clearer that India is very much relying on China for their economic growth, just like any other countries in the world. The Central Tibetan Administration should face the reality and stop being arrogant. It was precisely this arrogance that had caused them lost their country in the first place.

Quote
What is leading to India’s widening trade deficit with China? Find out what this SBI report says

India’s trade deficit with China expanded to $51.11 billion in FY17, and further to $62.94 billion in FY18, from $38.72 billion in FY13, says an SBI country wrap report.

While the demand for Indian goods has been on a decline in the Chinese market, India’s increasing dependence on China for items such as electric equipment, machines, medical and surgical instruments and fertilizers, among others, is widening India’s trade deficit with the country, a report said on Monday. Huge imports of Chinese goods by India has made China the country’s largest trade partner, according to an SBI ‘Country Wrap’ report.

Other top imports from China include organic chemicals, plastic, ships and boats, iron and steel, and optical photographic. The report said that in FY17, while exports to China fell to $10.17 billion compared to $13.53 billion in FY13, India’s dependence on Chinese goods in FY17 surged to $61.28 billion from $52.25 billion in FY13. Thus, India’s trade deficit with China expanded to $51.11 billion in FY17 from $38.72 billion in FY13. In addition, data showed that the trade deficit further widened to $62.94 billion in FY18.

Interestingly, rising imports has made China the largest trade partner of India. In terms of exports, India’s top trading partner is the US to which it exported $42 billion in FY17 as compared to only $10 billion to China. “Trade between India and China has experienced a slowdown in the past few years. Structural transformation of China led to decline in demand for our exports,” said the report.

Although there has been a decline in China’s import of goods from India, certain items like ores, cotton, organic chemicals mineral fuels copper, iron and steel, nuclear reactor and mechanical appliances, electrical machinery and plastic are still there in the list of top export items from India to China, the report said.

Everything CTA does creates the opposite of what the Dalai Lama wants, which is to return to Tibet. That is his LAST wish, you think CTA would be smart enough to stop antagonizing China? If they are, they would immediately ask all Tibetan and Western supporters of the Dalai Lama to stop posting Free Tibet stuff online because that only contradicts everything they are doing.

All the Western supporters like Tibet House, International Tibet Society etc. should stop posting China's human rights issues on and on and on. Why post about their human rights issues when CTA does not even follow it and give human rights to their own Tibetans in exile, like duh, Dorje Shugden practitioners getting discriminated day in day out. That's why this website exists. Everything is here and can be clearly seen.

So what is the point then in Sangay saying that Tibetans should support His Holiness in trying to get him back to Tibet? Is it all just lip service? This CTA is really a huge hypocrite.

It is Tibetans' own arrogance that cost them their country. When China landed in Tibet in 1959, Tibetans could not defend themselves and no country wanted to help them as Tibetans were so arrogant.

What's sad is that arrogance still continues to this day. For a government-in-exile without an actual country, they should think about being humble and be friends with everyone. Pretty dumb to think that their anti-China sentiments will win them allies. Or get them anywhere.

Well said, I couldn't agree with you more. How on earth do they think that shouting negativities on China will get them their country back? If it is a good strategy, they would have gotten their country back years ago? Why didn't anyone/any country help them then? It will also be same now and even tougher now when Xi is making allies with the entire world.

US can say whatever they want but they are not going to help because they have to get their own act together and they also cannot afford to piss China off too much, since they owe China billion in deficit. The US is no longer the superpower, China is. And if they could help, they would have when they were actually the no.1 superpower with fewer issues of their own. So whatever Free Tibet people are doing, is seriously a waste of time and effort, they might as well put it to good use and to strategise better on how to take advantage and be friends with China. At least, the Dalai Lama is doing or trying to do this, but unfortunately, his own government is not and contradicts themselves in everything they do and this is due to their --- arrogance. So I doubt Dalai Lama is going to be able to return to Tibet if they continue this route.

That is because the Tibetan leadership was never about the interest of Tibetans. This is evident from all the shady and questionable decisions by CTA which is geared towards keeping Tibetans as refugees so they can continue to capitalise on the sufferings of the Tibetans who gave up everything following the Dalai Lama to exile decades ago. Why else would Tibetans in exile are still refugees and not any better than how they were when they first reach Indian soil after all these years? – and we are talking about decades which have passed! Yet everyone in CTA especially even from the top Lobsang Sangay, is problematic http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/if-lobsang-sangay-had-honor-he-would-resign/ (http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/if-lobsang-sangay-had-honor-he-would-resign/)  Why condemn those who opt for other citizenship when most CTA people enjoy dual citizenships and have properties overseas waiting for them? Above are only but a few, so, hardly surprising that CTA is only self-serving and making use of Tibetans. One can just imagine their karma.

Why are all of you pointing your fingers at the CTA as being the evil ones.

You are going against the public teachings of H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche.

He has clearly stated that the 14th Dalai Lama has "Absolute Control" over the CTA.

Here is the link my post about  Tsem Tulku's article about the Dalai Lama and HIS CTA.

http://www.dorjeshugden.com/forum/index.php?topic=6143.0 (http://www.dorjeshugden.com/forum/index.php?topic=6143.0)

Quote
His Eminence Tsem Tulku has stated that it is the Dalai Lama that RUNS the CTA.

Here is a link to an article Tsem Tulku wrote on his website on June 5, 2018.

It is titled "The 4th Zhabdrung Rinpoche of Bhutan and Dorje Shugden".

http://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/buddhas-dharma/the-4th-zhabdrung-rinpoche-of-bhutan-and-dorje-shugden.html (http://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/buddhas-dharma/the-4th-zhabdrung-rinpoche-of-bhutan-and-dorje-shugden.html)

In his article Tsem Tulku states,

Quote
The Tibetan leadership is no stranger to painting a misleading picture of what really goes on in their community. For example, they claim to be a democracy but behind the scenes, everyone knows that HIS HOLINESS THE DALAI LAMA CONTINUES TO OPERATE WITH ABSOLUTE CONTROL OVER THE GOVERNMENT, despite claiming to have given up secular power.
Unquote

If we believe what Tsem Tulku is publicly stating is true then all of you are wrong.

The other option is that all of you are right and H.E. Tsem Tulku is wrong.

Which is it?

The Dalai Lama plays the "Good Guy" to China and the CTA plays the "Bad Guy" to China.

Tsem Tulku and the Chinese Government know the truth about the Dalai Lama and his "Absolute Control" over the CTA.

They know that all the negative statements proclaimed by the CTA are actually coming from the Dalai Lama.

I go with what Tsem Tulku publicly teaches about the Dalai Lama and HIS CTA and not what you all say that the CTA is against the Dalai Lama's wishes.

The CTA's "Wishes" are the Dalai Lama's "Wishes" and the Dalai Lama's "Wishes" are the CTA's "Wishes"!

CTA is definitely EVIL. Like Desi, today we have Sangay going around getting his short sidekick to Dhardon to head a hate campaign against Shugden! Well, I hope that their karma will come back and end soon!

Sorry, I know this is not a good wish but that is the ONLY way we will ever see justice.
I know His Holiness the Dalai Lama being all compassionate will always help those who are evil. That's what a Boddhisattva do, that is the only reason why I think His Holiness keeps evil Sangay and those nasty around.

Well, they will be able to leech off the world no more once the Dalai Lama returns to Tibet. Maybe that is why he is eager to return to Tibet. To end the CTA. Maybe this is wishful thinking, but just saying.

After 60 years, the Tibetans are still so blinded? They are not aware of how CTA is making use of Tibetans to get money for their own pockets? There is no result in their Tibet Cause, no result in establishing a good relationship with China, no result in improving the lives of the Tibetan in-exile.

The Tibetans in China are having a far better life than those outside of China. They have a good education, they have better infrastructure and amenity in Tibet now, what can the CTA offer? A yellow book that can bring Tibetans to nowhere?

For the benefit of the Tibetan in-exile, CTA should stop being arrogant and be nice to China. Don't talk about Rangzen anymore, this is not what the Dalai Lama wants. Besides, CTA has no capability to run a country, please don't destroy the future of the Tibetans.

The CTA is not interested in the well-being of the Tibetans. If not, why don't they make a shift and get friendly with China. Nobody can ever expect to get Tibet back as a country. So, why, after 60 years, is the CTA going around and asking money for a lost cause.

When is the CTA stopping to make a fool of themselves and get things going for the Tibetans. The few Tibetans in India will sooner or later become Indian, leave if they have the money or go back to China. What else is there to expect as the CTA is doing nothing for them? They don't reconcile with China and be the 'Tibetan Administration' for the Tibetans in China, fulfilled their role!

It is such a shame and there is nothing to be proud of. So many scandals are linked to the CTA. Why are they not closing down? Well, this will all end with the Dalai Lama.

Exactly! Lose their country and soon will lose the friendship of India. Then CTA won't even have any land to "rule" over. What more, "borrowed land". Weird that they don't learn from their mistake and still continue with their arrogance. And what right do they have to be arrogant when they are really just beggars, living off people's generosity in sponsorships???

Arrogant has caused the Tibetan lost their country, it has also caused to them lose their friendship with India. The Indian government has advised the officials not to attend public events organised by the CTA. The Thank You India event was a disaster, the CTA was made to move the event to Dharamsala and high officials were told by the Indian government not to attend.

Why after 60 years living in India the Tibetans have not created a closer bond with India? It must be due to their arrogance, thinking they deserve what India is giving them. When there was a protest against the Tibetans and when the Dalai Lama made negative comments on India's politics, the CTA did not apologise immediately, they just kept quiet. They don't even try to make an effort to improve their relationship with the Indians.

Apart from being arrogant to the Indians, the CTA is also very arrogant to China. Until today, they have not had a dialogue with China, they also don't have the intention to establish a better relationship with China. Everything the CTA does is to benefit themselves. Their loyalty to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetans is non-existent. If they really want India to still welcome them and the Dalai Lama's wishes to be fulfilled, they really should put down the gun.

The CTA does not have meeting China due to their lack of ability in proving their worth in the last 60 years. In addition to that, they went around the world criticizing China, their policies and their way of doing things. They do their Chinese rhetoric in order to mooch money from others.

They use India to get what they wanted: freedom to travel, taxfree, luxury lifestyle and etc. India is just a doormat for them, they never show appreciation and launch the Thank You Indian event using India's resources to look good.

Everything about the CTA is a fraud.

The CTA does not work for the Tibetans, they don't care about the welfare and the future of the Tibetans. I think they work for CIA to undermine China, to make sure the Asian big brother doesn't rise. If China becomes the superpower (which she is already), the status of Asia region will rise as well.

The CTA is acting very arrogantly because they think they someone powerful behind their back. What the CTA doesn't realise is that the west does not have loyalty, they are only using the Tibet issue as a tool to smear China, to create obstacles for China to rise. When the Tibet issue can no longer serve its purpose, the CTA will be thrown away like a piece of trash!

The CTA will not work hard to get what they want, they will continue to act like this as long as the west is still giving them the money. When there is no more fund from the west, the Tibetan leadership will just say bye bye to the Tibetans in exile and go to the west to retire comfortably. The ones who really suffer will be the Tibetans. I feel so sorry for them.

I would say the CTA does not have meeting China because they are NOT EVEN RECOGNISED BY CHINA as a LEGIT GOVERNMENT. They do not even acknowledge that sleazy egoistical Lobsay Sangay. As soon as Dalai Lama returns to Tibet, the CTA will even more insignificant.

And at the rate they're going around and how Sangay is touring Europe and still criticizing China, they will never find a solution with China. This goes to show that they a not for the people but more for their pockets.  If Tibetans would like to fulfil H.H. the Dalai Lama's wish to return to Tibet, they should really stop all Rangzen movement and stay quiet.

What you said has validity. Why give credence to CTA by meeting them? It will be construed as an acknowledgment, legitimising them as a government, which they are not. You don't govern from borrow land without a country. Whereas China will meet the Dalai Lama as he is the head of religion (so to speak) and on that basis for his people. So it is up to China to accord his and the refugees to return or not. However, with the stigma of his involvement with CTA, China is not convinced of Dalai Lama's real role. Which may be why the Dalai Lama commits the many guffaws that he did to separate himself from CTA and politics. To create that chasm between him and CTA. Hmmm this is interesting.

CTA is really stupid to think they are actually somebody and they can play around with China with their silly tricks. They are a government that formed in another country and governing their people in exile. They are lucky that India is so kind to even allow such silliness to take places in the first place. India has every right to deny them from forming CTA.

It is actually surprising for them to actually think that they are very important in the world and they have a chance against China. They have no chance against China from the start of the 60 years of refugee until now. China has a firm grip on Tibet and they will never let go of Tibet. They won't do it now nor 50 years ahead of time as predicted by Mr. Lobsang Sangay.

Tibet is actually a very small problem compared to other problems that China is facing now such as the trade war. It is very insignificant and only the Tibetans are making a big deal out of it. It is common for stronger countries to take over weaker countries in history and that is just the way it is. Due to their corruption, they won't be able to protect their own country. They have no one to blame except themselves.

China is beyond your sphere now and could just totally ignore you to let you drift in your refugee scam! I just feel sorry that the Dalai Lama will dwindle in your selfishness and not have his wish to return home fulfilled. So Anti-Dalai Lama.

The Chinese government doesn't really trust the Dalai Lama or the CTA. For the past 60 years they have been making troubles for China, condemning China and suddenly they want to become friends? It is hard to believe.

Even though the CTA says they want to go for the Middle Way Approach, asking for only autonomous status from China, but what have the CTA done to gain trust from China? They have not even had one dialogue with China. It is just Dalai Lama's wishful thinking to go back to Tibet.

If the CTA really wants to fulfill the Dalai Lama's wish, they would have done thing differently. They can start by making friends with China; stop their world tour to condemn China; work with India to see how India can help them. However, until today the CTA is still busy getting donations from the west.

I think it is pretty obvious by now CTA knows they have no chance of going back to Tibet and as such tries to drag out the sponsorships for as long as they can. After all, it is for their retirement rather than for their people. If I were the Tibetans in Exile, I would demand CTA to show the accounts since sixty years ago as it is their rights and their monies. They should demand to be trained before CTA totally finished the sponsorships. At the very least they have some skills to help them in their livelihood.  Why blame on the enlightened protector Dorje Shugden to divert attention from CTA's failures? 60 years and nowhere close to going home to Tibet. Just stop the pretense already and just say you are heading to a different direction instead of bring down a Protector that everyone could benefit from. So effective and wishfulling!

CTA has been taking free money from everyone for 60 years now. Of course, they will try to drag out the sponsorships as long as they can. Mr Lobsang Sangay already announced that their struggle will be going on for another 50 years. It is 50 years of free money again. They officially told the whole world to keep donating for another 50 years.

This is how arrogant CTA is. For 60 years, they did not do what they promise the whole world which is to fight for the independence of Tibet. Until now, they did not have any dialogue with China and yet they go around the world to talk bad about China. Do they really think by doing that, they will get the chance to get back Tibet from China? How about start with getting on their good books?

The world is not taking their lies anymore and more countries started to back off from their support to Tibet. China is becoming a very strong and powerful country. Many western countries do not want to make an enemy out of her. That is why Tibet is getting fewer donations nowadays and less support. Soon, the world will stop helping Tibet and CTA will have to think of new ways to cheat money.

I think Lobsang Sangay will continue to be arrogant to China. He has no intention to reconcile with China. The reason he is not interested simply because he doesn't want to free Tibet, he also does not want to be part of China. He wants everything to remain the same so he can still use poor me Tibetan's plight to make money for himself.

If Tibetan leadership is serious about fulfilling their promise to the Tibetans, they would have worked very hard to fulfill it. Everyone knows harmony and unity are very important to make a project successful. CTA must know it too, but why are they not uniting Tibetans but instead they keep creating conflicts to split the Tibetans?

Very clearly, CTA does not want to free Tibet, they also don't want to be part of China. Their culture of exploiting their own people has not changed a single bit. Whether in the old days or now, Tibetans are still the one who suffer from their own deceiving leadership.

There is nothing to be arrogant about the CTA. They achieved nothing significant. Everything they have now is given by the host country and they are overly dependent on the Dalai Lama's power and charisma. Without the Dalai Lama, they are nothing.

Lobsang Sangay is very arrogant to China. Instead of being humble to get onto the good books of China, he is going around talking about how bad China is treating Tibet. At this rate, he will never be able to bring Tibetans in Exile back to Tibet. Seems like he does not plan to fulfill his promise to his fellow Tibetans at all. How can he fight for Tibet's independence when China is not willing to even initiate a dialogue with him?

Tibetans in exile are stupid to not see what he is doing and stop supporting him. He is not going to help the Tibetans, he is helping himself to get more donations. He just extended the duration of Tibet cause for another 50 years and by that time, he would be dead and he does not need to be answerable to the world as well as Tibetans. Looks like Tibetans will have to suffer more with this kind of leadership.

The thing is Lobsang Sangay and the CTA are very delusional, they think they are very powerful and they have the support from people all around the world. They have forgotten it was because of the Dalai Lama, they get the donations from the people. When the Dalai Lama is not around anymore, they can forget about the free money and free shelter from India.

STUPIDITY + AROGANCE = SUPER STUPIDITY / IGNORANCE

It is a recipe for disaster! Hence, they are going down and the world will soon forget they even exist.
If they really cared about their culture and people, they would make friends with those in power to ensure their culture survive. Looks like the Dalai Lama is the only one who sees that but I think it is too late.

Another proof why the CTA should really stop being arrogant. The Dalai Lama was found to have said that he firmly criticized discrimination against women based on religious grounds and therefore assessed education was the only route to social transformation. Yet, the Dalai Lama didn't criticise the CTA for discriminating female Shugdenpas. The CTA, especially Lobsang Sangay is a Havard graduate major in international human rights, he should know better how important education is and how everyone should be treated equally.

The Dalai Lama is hinting at his next incarnation being a female in this piece. He also said he would reincarnate as an Indian recently. But what is important is now. What is he doing for the women and Indians now is far more important that what will happened after he has passed on.

Tibet: Dalai Lama Calls on Women to Path Way Towards Peace and Prosperity by Taking Leadership Role in Politics and Promoting Human Values

Last week, His Holiness the Dalai Lama spoke to a delegation of 75 women from the Young FICCI Ladies Organisation (YFLO) of New Delhi. He focused on the importance for women to play an active role in our society, saying it could have a positive global impact. He firmly criticized discrimination against women based on religious grounds and therefore assessed education was the only route to social transformation.

The article below was published by BuddhistDoor

His Holiness the Dalai Lama last week urged women to take a more active role in promoting and guiding social values for humanity in the 21st century, noting that more equitable gender roles in society are fundamental to advancing humanity toward peace and economic prosperity for society as a whole.

Speaking to a delegation of 75 women from the Young FICCI Ladies Organisation (YFLO) of New Delhi at his official residence in Dharamsala, northern India, on 18 February, His Holiness explained that if more women took up leadership roles in fields such as politics it could have a positive impact on a global scale. He cited as an example former Indian prime minister Indira Gandhi, the first woman in the history of modern India to hold the post.

“We are now in the 21st century. If we look back at the 20th century, it was a time of violence and fear. Therefore, we should make this century an era of non-violence and compassion,” said the Tibetan spiritual leader. “With regard to compassion, there is scientific evidence that women are more sensitive to others’ pain. Indeed, in human history most warriors, or killers, were men, whereas women consistently show more concern for others’ well-being. In this century we should make special efforts to promote loving-kindness and women should take a leading role in this. They shouldn’t just stay at home, but should support and be actively involved with education.” (His Holiness the Dalai Lama of Tibet)

Founded in 2004, the YFLO is a platform for young women from diverse professional and entrepreneurial backgrounds to interact with each other, with the primary objectives of promoting entrepreneurship and professional excellence, acting as a catalyst for the social and economic advancement of women, and making women aware of their strengths.

The Dalai Lama also criticized discrimination against women on religious grounds and as a result of social customs, observing that education was the only route to social transformation and that women should play a key role in this evolution of gender relations.

“The Buddha gave men and women equal opportunities in that he offered ordination as a bhikshu to men and as a bhikshuni to women,” the 83-year-old Nobel laureate noted. “Although the introduction of the bhikshuni lineage in the Tibetan tradition is something I can’t achieve by myself, I have been able to encourage nuns and women to study. The result is that there are now nuns who have attained the highest level of education [the geshema degree].” (His Holiness the Dalai Lama of Tibet)

On a far more fundamental level, the Dalai Lama continued, women have the ability to mould the society through the compassion of motherhood and their love for their children. Reminding the audience that mothers gave birth to every person alive in the world today, he related how the kindness of his mother had influenced his own life.

The Dalai Lama also reiterated his assertion concerning his own reincarnation, that the next Dalai Lama could well be a woman if circumstances required. He referenced as an example the lineage and spiritual leadership of the Samding Dorje Phagmo, dating to the 15th century, the highest female incarnation in Tibetan Buddhism and the third highest-ranking leader after the Dalai Lama and the Panchen Lama.

“She was particularly kind to me, at the time her youngest child. There was no school in our village and she was illiterate, but she was naturally kind,” His Holiness said. “I had no toys to play with, but instead rode on her shoulders as she went about her work in the fields or with our animals. We, her children, never saw an angry expression on her face. She was kind to us, kind to our neighbours. When victims of famine came to the door, she always found them something to eat. It’s because of her that I am the happy, smiling person I am today.” (His Holiness the Dalai Lama of Tibet)

There is nothing for the CTA to be arrogant about. They lost their country and soon they will lose their people. It has been 60 years now and there is no progress on the Tibetan cause. Why would anyone want to trust them ever again? They have disappointed their own people again and again for 60 years.

Tibetans have stopped coming to India from Tibet. It means that the situation in Tibet now is actually better than the situation in India. It tells us a lot when the number of Tibetans from Tibet that went to Indian dropped from thousands to merely 100. China is doing a good job of gaining their trust.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama wanted to go back to Tibet and he will certainly bring all Tibetan in exile back to Tibet as well. That is the place where all Tibetans should be and not as a refugee in foreign countries. Soon, CTA will have to close down because there will be no Tibetans in exile for them to rule over.

The CTA is arrogant, this is for sure. Most of the western countries have softened their tone and make friends with China. The one-belt-one road project is a huge economic project initiated by China to bring economic benefit to everyone who is involved. The motto of China is very simple, "if you win, I will win too". However, until now the CTA has not shown any effort in making peace with China.

The Chinese government does not believe in using violence to conquer the world economy. They want to accumulate wealth but at the same time they know they can't have it all, it has to be shared. This is a perfect ideology because peace and harmony can be maintained and at the same time, everyone gets the benefit.  Just like the Middle Way approach, do not go for the extreme, maintaining the balance is important.

The CTA should know it is not hard to negotiate with the Chinese government. What the Chinese government wants is peace and harmony. The CTA has to accept that Tibet can never be an independent state, an autonomous status is the best they can get. The CTA should just admit they don't have the capability to run a country with millions of people. Since China has done a good job in giving a better life to the Tibetans in Tibet, let the Tibetans in exile have the same possibility too. The CTA should stop being arrogant and put the welfare of the Tibetans as their priority.

China is the main player in the global economy. Many countries would want to work with China in order to build a better and stabilize the economy in their country. There is no surprise to see even India is moving their head to China. So by looking at this what will be CTA faith in India? We already know India has stopped attending CTA events and India is very careful of their every move with the CTA, this is to prevent any unnecessary triggering the Chinese. Every country now is looking at how to befriend the Chines and no one will go against him for CTA. The past is the past and now if CTA still doesn’t realize their situation is not good at all, then nothing much can be done. All leaders of their country will set priority to take care of their people’s interests. But unfortunately we don’t see CTA doing the same, instead, they separate their people with religious discrimination which doesn’t bring any benefit to anyone but just suffering and disaster for their own countrymen.

No one can understand how CTA operates in terms of to benefit the Tibetan but very obvious that we can see is that CTA is all the time chasing their own personal interest. This is the real issue that needs to look into. Much suffering for the Tibetans that have been waiting for 60 years.

If we look at whoever that works with CTA, all they can achieve are troubles and failures. There is no good ending with CTA. Look at Karmapa Ogyen Trinley who ran away to the west and suffers from depression. Look at all the Tibetan in exile who desperately burn themselves to death to raise awareness against China which is totally a waste of precious human life.

Wherever CTA goes, there will be destruction and disappointment. Just look at the Tibetan settlements. There is not much of improvement since 1959 despite millions of donation were received by the CTA for their people. The number of Tibetans are decreasing and no new Tibetans are coming to India to seek refuge because it is quite obvious that there is no hope in the Tibetan settlements.

China, on the other hand, is totally opposite proven from her development of Tibet. They are very near in eliminating poverty from Tibet and fellow Tibetans are having a decent life in Tibet. That is why there are no new Tibetans who want to flee to India because the living condition is better now. There is no need for them to risky whatever they have for India.

CTA should play their card wisely now. Sympathy card no longer works. At this moment many countries are trying very hard to work with China. Tibetan cause may be sentimental but it can't drag for 60 years that long. Every country will work for something that benefits them. Now, what are the benefits they will get from supporting the Tibetan cause? Look at the Tibetan in China, are they starving? poverty? treated badly? instead, if anyone checks the rate of Tibetan runaway to India from China is nill. Look at the monks in India, the majority are 2nd generation from the Tibetan that lives in India that escapes from Tibet. There are no new monks from Tibet.

This shows that the situation and condition in Tibet are as bad as what people thought. Tibet now becoming popular for tourism which China had invested to refurbish many building and monasteries. This indirectly also gives more opportunity for Tibetan. So how bad can Tibetan in Tibet be?

CTA should work their way to befriend with China and keep their promise to bring the Tibetan in India bac =k home. Stop irking China and start find ways to be close or at least do please them.

CTA really have nothing on their plate to negotiate with China, and yet they can still be so arrogant and act like China owe them everything. While China is dominating the world with her vast economy, CTA is again running around complaining like a kid who got bullied by China. No one will be on their side, especially when almost everyone would like to get on China's good books. It will be stupid to go against China because there is no benefit on that.

CTA still thinks that they can get people on their side just like how they did 60 years ago, but little did they know the situation has progressed and it does not work that way anymore. CTA has to wake up from their dream and smell the coffee already.

There is no way they can get their country back while whining to the whole world of how China bullied them. The chance for them to get back a free Tibet has passed since they waited for so long to take action. But then again, CTA did not show any real intention of getting back Tibet in the first place because if they do, they would have done much more than just whining.

There is not much reason to be arrogant for the Central Tibetan Administration!
What have they achieved?
Why are the Tibetans still refugees?

They should be very quiet and show results for the many donations that they have received for so many years now? But, they have no results to show for their people and the Tibetans are fed up and go back to Tibet in China as the living conditions are so much better now.

So, yes, the CTA should stop being arrogant!

Indeed China is very powerful now and very influential. No other country would go against him. Lok at India which very supportive of China needed their help very much. If the host has made China their priority, CTA should be very worried now. India already took a number of action which towards CTA and this is just the beginning.

CTA better quickly do something about it before it's too late. The Tibetan is definitely not in a good position resulted from the incapable of CTA management.

The Tibetan government is still very arrogant and thinks that the whole world owes them and they are entitled to assistance for their failed Tibetan cause. No one is entitled to help them since they are the one that could not defend their own country which resulted in the invasion by the Chinese force in 1959.

Now after 60 years have passed, they are still fundraising for the broken cause which no one cares about. The only reason anyone is giving them money is that they hate China and they want to support China's enemy. That is the only reason why CTA is still being entertained.

Now China became a super powerful country and most people would like to collaborate with them to gain some benefit for their own country. That is why the support for CTA had gone down drastically and their influence had gone down. They are no longer relevant in the eyes of the world that is progressing.
