Zawa Rinpoche rightly believes that social media is the way to go to protest peacefully against the ban. He has put all his time, efforts and resources into getting the world to recognize how ridiculous and draconian the ban is, how much harm it has brought and nothing of good. He is vocal and eloquent. With more like Zawa Rinpoche supporting and contributing to Ds. com, together with Ds.com, all is up, ready and to go, and before you know it, the ban will be down.

I saw all the photos of Zawa Rinpoche with all the printed comic books of Dorje Shugden, hanging car tsa tsa, pendants and brochures explaining the practice. And now he even believes in sharing Dorje Shugden on social media like Twitter, Facebook and reading this Forum! Why does he do this? To help promote the spread of Dorje Shugden to benefit others. What else? To bring down the ban too. My prayers to his success.

The power of social media is powerful, viral and can have great impart on our life, especially when we use it to benefit others, for others; just like the case of Zawa Rinpoche using social media to let more around the world know the truth about the BAN.
Combining the power of social media, peaceful protests, monasteries, layman practitioners and etc, we all believe the ban will be brought down. :D

Zawa Rinpoche have inspired us. Rinpoche have shown to many Tibetan through social media, we are able to connect to the world more, that Dorje Shugden issues no longer issues of Tibetan but religion freedom. That there is a platform for Dorje Shugden's practitioner to keep in touch, to update what is happening around the world. Thanks Zawa Rinpoche for this inspiration

With the eyes and ears of the whole world on the issue on the unfair ban on the practice of the deity Dorje Shugden, the actions and lies of the CTA are being exposed to the whole wide world.
Zawa Rinpoche, thank you also for being present personally at the locations of the demonstrations, working very hard to bring the ban to an end.

Social media is definitely the way to go and its use is being expanded . FB is a great way to connect to old school friends. And for Zawa Tulku to go on social media and the websites is a reflection of Gelug Lamas in this day and age they will employ technology to bring dharma to the masses.

True. The method may change but the motivation is the same, to spread the Dharma teachings for the benefit of sentient beings. Social media is a great vehicle for spreading the wisdom teachings from the Buddha. It is the same for spreading awareness of animal killings due to eating meat, environmental pollution and so on.

I'm very happy that Zawa Tulku Rinpoche is using social media because it is an effective means to make one's views and opinions known. Rinpoche comes from a great lineage, has guru devotion, and is untiring in his effort to defend and spread Dorje Shugden's practice. He is still young and I'm sure he will become a great master just like his illustrious guru.

Zawa Rinpoche is one of those rare Lamas who are young enough, cool enough to be able to leverage on the social media to do his bidding to benefit the Protectors' practitioners. There are other Lamas popular in the social media but none has been propagating the Protector (except for DS.com itself), as much as Zawa Rinpoche. He seems to act alone and for that I salute him and rejoice.
I pray that Zawa Rinpoche has a long and healthy life for the sake of the Dharma and I am sure the Protector will look after Him.

Seeing Zawa Rinpoche photo of him doing social media and blogging at ds.com, cant help but being motivated by his action to do more.

It is good that the Monastic order of Dorje Shugden takes to the internet and social media to let the world know the discrimination that they have been suffering for so long.
It is inspiring to see how much Zawa Rinpoche has so many materials for all to understand and to utilise to show their faith in Dorje Shugden.
The car decor and pendants are beautifully designed. May all the efforts of this kind young monk contribute hugely to the lifting of the ban.

Social media is playing a very important role and became part of everyday life to most of the people as long as we have access to the internet. It has slowly but steadily playing the role of television and the younger generation today is spending most of their time on smartphones and computers, these tech savvy youngsters will search and look for information which are relevant on the topic which they are interested in rather than watching what is been fed to them. In other words these has became their lifestyle, therefore is very smart of Zawa Rinpoche riding on these platform in order to reach out and tell the truth in regards of the issue with CTA and the stories behind the ban of Dorje Shugden which is completely false, illogical and full of lies.
Luckily we have Dorje Shugden lamas who believed in the power of social media and making use of this platform in order to spread, teach and telling the truth about Dorje Shugden and all the accusations which tarnishing this fully enlighten Protector of our time.

Social media is a very powerful communication tools. It is a 2 ways communication. People received information and they can shared their thought about the information which makes this very interesting. With social media, we are also getting information at a very fast speed. Thanks to social media, we know more of DS, all the dirty job by CTA and the protest on the ban.

Social media is a very powerful tool to bring information to people. Most people use internet to exchange information, information can be disseminated all over the world in a matter of second, unlike before, it takes days or weeks to share information with people of different continents. Zawa Rinpoche clearly understands it. I hope Zawa Rinpoche will share with us more and more via social media.

With the rapid rise and tremendous success of Facebook, Twitter and other social media applications, younger people and the adult population makes use of these technologies daily. Social networking transcends geography. Therefore, this is the fastest and most efficient way to reach this demographic.
Modes of disseminating the Dharma should evolve with times and Zawa Rinpoche is setting the example. Judging from how dorjeshugden.com and Dorje Shugden Facebook fanpage has successfully educated so many with the truth, revealing the dirty plots of CTA, outpouring of support from High Lamas and and monasteries and also the followers, it is clear that social media is the way to go.
I look forward to reading more of Zawa Rinpoche's posts here as he has so much news to share due to his closeness to HH Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche and other illustrious Shugden Lamas.

Buddhism keeps up with modernity and uses modern methods to spread the dharma. With the advent of computers since the last century people are able to share information and communicate with others globally. Buddhism is spreading over the internet now benefiting many people in search of religions. Lamas like Zawa Rinpoche uses social media to benefit others sharing and teaching dharma. It is modern, cheap, and effectively reaches millions of people all over the world. time has changed since the time of Buddha Shakyamuni, and though the Buddha's teaching reminds, the method need to improve or to adapt to current time. Nowadays so many people are so engross to Facebook, Twitter and other social media for samaric activities, so there are more reasons to use social media for Buddhism so that people can benefit from it. More so for this ban, we need to skillfully use social media to bring this unjusticed discrimination which violates basic human rights to the world!

It is great to see that Zawa Rinpoche believes in social media too. In this modern world, almost everyone have facebook and twitter accounts. Information shared via social media is vast, fast and reaching out to a lot of people. Buddhism also must follow the new trend so that it can reach to more people. The skillful means and compassion of the Bodhisattva are beyond convention. A Bodhisattva will deploy any method if it helps to liberate sentient beings from delusion. If it takes a bodhisattva to appear as Brahma and Indra or even in the form of demon sake of sentient beings, he would not hesitate to do so.
In this era, where all of us can be connected through social media, a Bodhisattva will appear in the virtual world to teach the dharma and to dispel the darkness for us to see clearly about the truth. Such are the capabilities of a Bodhisattva!!

I believe so, especially with the modern days technology, social media has become a very important platform for people around the world to get together. Social media is like a trend nowadays, even my dad who's almost 70 years old is still active with his Facebook account. Haha
