It is indeed a very sad week in aviation history where 3 incidents of plane crash happened within a week. First we had MH17 being shot down by missile in Ukraine causing deaths of about 300 people, GE-222's emergency landing causes almost 50 deaths, and AH5017 in Africa where more than 100 people's fate is looking gloomy.
Please dedicate your prayers and compassion towards the deceased and their family and friends. May the deceased have a quick and good rebirth; and may the family stay strong emotionally.
May the war be stopped and no more killing.

As we fold our hands in prayer for all who perished in the 3 flights in under ten days,our hearts must surely be weighed down by such thoughts as what the Lamrim prompts me to give voice to. Nearly 500 precious human lives were lost and, for most of them, they had also lost their lives in which they had received a human body which could have been used to practice the Dharma for liberation and Buddhahood. What a waste. What a waste if we too, spend the rest of our lives pursuing the things of this life, with no thought of future lives and the ultimate attainment of liberation from suffering and cyclic existence and attainment of buddhahood.
This rare optimum human rebirth, this precious life...it's time to take the essence from it...

Indeed this is very sad, I would hesitate to travel by air with these recent air crashes. There are accidents that are man-made, in fact, man-made accidents may have caused more deaths due to our ignorance and negligence than natural causes. Not only war cause lost of life, it also displaces people from their home, causes poverty, sicknesses to young and old, no access to food, and basically it robs the human right to live. If we are so passionate about war and harming others it say reflect how much we have progress as a civilization or de-civilization. What is the difference between the actions of barbarians and modern mans beside their appearances?

Sound scary within a week with 3 incidents of plane crashed. Life is just so unpredictable and so impermanent. I believe what ever happen is always triggered by our karma and also involve the group karma as a whole for the incident to happen. We believe in past, present and future lives and we believe we have endless previous lives that we have accumulated so much negative karma that we need to purify. For some karma ripen with at right time and right condition, that’s how we always hear something bad happen to this person and that person.
With that it doesn’t mean we just leave our life just like that. We still can do something about by learn up the dharma and change our motivation of life and practice them for others. Together combine with the protector practice example Lord Shugden which is swift to help anyone. With protector practice it will support our dharma practice and hold this practice dear and we will see the result with a pure motivation.

Really sad and shocking to hear 1 crashed after another.
All 3 incidents reminded us again and again that life is impermanent, no one will know what would happen the next second. Everything that happened to us control by Karma. Once the bad karma manifested, no one can change it. Not even Buddha. Therefore while we still have the time and chance to do our practice, we must do so and do immediately. Human life is precious.
For all those that die in the place crashed, may they have swift and good rebirth.

The aviation industry has suffered one of it's worst weeks ever with the loss of three airliners on three continents. It was painful and sad for friends and relatives as they struggle to accept the reality that their loved ones will never come back again. May the deceased find peace and have a swift,good rebirth.

This is such tragic news that 3 plane incidents can happen over a short period of time. While we haven't gone over the shock of fight MH 17, the next 2 incident happen.
May all those that perished have a good and swift rebirth. May all of their souls rest in peace.

So many tragic incidents over the past few months. While we grieve for those who perished in those fateful flights, more lives were taken in Kaoshiung (Taiwan) and China gas blast.
We cannot begin to imagine the grief that the family members are going through. It is not easy to lose a loved one, and losing someone in the ill-fated flight was a shock and unexpected incident. It will take a long time before the "wound" (hurt) will heal, if it ever does.

This ”missile” story is what Western press wants people to believe, and therefore what they are screaming around for weeks without any evidence.
And why? Because if it shown that the MH17 was downed by a plane, not by a missile, it would be more difficult to cover the Western-supported Ukrainian government's terrorist action.
But the farce is being uncovered, as explained by the respected Canadian Professor Michael Chossudovsky:
”According to the report of German pilot and airlines expert Peter Haisenko, the MH17 Boeing 777 was not brought down by a missile.
What he observed from the available photos were perforations of the cockpit:
The facts speak clear and loud and are beyond the realm of speculation: The cockpit shows traces of shelling! You can see the entry and exit holes. The edge of a portion of the holes is bent inwards. These are the smaller holes, round and clean, showing the entry points most likely that of a 30 millimeter caliber projectile.
Based on detailed analysis Peter Haisenko reached the conclusion that the MH17 was not downed by a missile attack:
This aircraft was not hit by a missile in the central portion. The destruction is limited to the cockpit area. Now you have to factor in that this part is constructed of specially reinforced material.
It is worth noting that the initial statements by OSCE observers (July 31) broadly confirm the findings of Peter Haisenko:
Monitors from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe reported that shrapnel-like holes were found in two separate pieces of the fuselage of the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines aircraft that was believed to have been downed by a missile in eastern Ukraine.
Michael Bociurkiw of the OSCE group of monitors at his daily briefing described part of the plane’s fuselage dotted with “shrapnel-like, almost machine gun-like holes.” He said the damage was inspected by Malaysian aviation-security officials .(Wall Street Journal, July 31, 2014).”

It has been a very disturbing and painful to hear consecutively tailing plane crashes , MH 17, GE-222 and AH5017 recently. Every time I hear of any of these tragic, the first thing which strike my mind is that what type of sufferings and fear will those who victims who perished encountered? These tragedy has always been a reminder to me to consistently practice the dharma and not to waste this precious human rebirth. May those who had perished in the plane crashes have a good, swift and fortunate human rebirth . May they be able to meet and practice the dharma .

Travelling by air was nothing big to yell about to most as compared to many who had not even boarded an aircraft. Those who perished in these three flight MH17, GE-222 and AH5017 might never had thought that it would be the end of their current life while they were enjoying luxury of travelling by air. While our life seem to be smooth and comfortable, how often do we contemplates on Lord of Yama could be just one corner away and what had we done in this life that would secure a fortunate rebirth of the next one while we still can draw breath?....

The poor really are more generous than the rich ones. Recently I have seen a few same kind of videos. The poor actually share what they have among themselves even though they have so little to give but they still do it. They live a more simple life, they went through a lot of hardship that they have realize something. They are not blinded by money and material goods, what they want is just shelter and food to survive. It always do touches my heart when I see all these videos and I respect for their actions. I feel guilty most of the time when I see homeless on the streets, because for such good life I am having, I don’t have to go through what they are going through.

Surely never. That's why so many Western people carelessly support their criminal Western governments, those who promote the Ukraine gangsters downing the MH17, and the mass-murdering of peaceful civilians in Eastern Ukraine.
Below follows the sad image of poor young mother murdered just one or two days ago, beside the bed of her child, in the besieged Eastern Ukrainian city Donetsk. Her residential area was bombed by heavy Ukrainian missiles paid by your Western taxpayer money (US just gave 1 billion dollars from your pocket to such Ukrainian gangsters).

Missiles shot yesterday by Western-supported Ukrainian thugs against civilian residential areas in Donetsk, killing several and wounding many more, courtesy of your Western taxpayer money.
Now do you understand why there was a need for the Western supported terrorists ruling Kiev to down the MH17 and then to blame their victims, the Eastern Ukrainians?

Planes crashes, wars, global warming, natural disasters etc, more and more happening now and causing a lot of sufferings and losing of lives. Is it the end of the world? I would think that there has been too much negative karma created and these incidents are just the manifestation of collective negative karma.
We should do more good to create positive karma and merits for our world and ourselves. Love our world, be vegetarian, 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and do more spiritual practice to have more good values such as compassion, patient, no more hatred, no more greed so that our next generation can have a better world to live in.

Although this may be based on the stars, in the beginning of 2014 the Year of the Chinese Zodiac Horse, there has been forecast or predictions of the following - The spirit of the horse is recognized to be the Chinese people's ethos - making unremitting efforts to improve themselves. It is energetic, bright, warm-hearted, intelligent and able. Ancient people liked to designate an able person as a horse that covers thousand miles a day.
When it comes to a sign of a year, Horse means "vicissitudes". Various things in the world, in your country, around you, and relative directly to you, will make enormous changes, whether they are good or bad. As for politics and economics, there will be tough difficulties, great advances, or drastic reforms. Everything both desirable and undesirous will come and go very fast. The last thing you would gain in the whole year is fixity.
These air accidents may be the result of the "negative" synergy of the stars and earth.

While surely such ”incidents” are a manifestation of negative karma, they are also fresh negative actions of karma being perpetrated, including by those Westerns who passively watch their own government using their own taxpayer money to support barbaric gangsters and mass murderers such as the current Ukrainian leaders.

The MH17 at least is surely no ”accident”, but rather a coldly planned and executed mass murder, intended at creating the conditions for a war against Russia.
Not different thus from the 9/11, coldly conceived and executed to serve as a pretext for US wars aimed at breaking apart Israeli opponents in the Middle East.
Everything, of course, with US and other Western taxpayers money and blood.

It is definitely shocking and devastating to read of so many people dying everywhere. Whether it was caused by accident, natural disasters or a deliberate act of human, we are all reminded of how fragile one's life is. As a Buddhist, I am praying that all those who died in a state of shock in those tragedies would find peace and that they are guided by the Three Jewels to a good rebirth. As for the parties involved in the deliberate act of destroying properties and human lives, I pray they too would not suffer due to the causes they have created.
