Tibetan Buddhism is gaining much popularity in the west quickly.  Even Sherlock Holmes TV series spiced up their story based on Tibetan Buddhist monks to give it a lift and punch.  It could likely be due to the power and mystic surrounding Tibetan Buddhism in the general perception of the west.

If you’re going to make a 7-minute teaser for a TV show, best to craft it as cleverly as this “mini-episode” that serves as a prequel to Season 3 of Sherlock, the BBC show poised to make a bigger splash than ever given the growing fame of its star, Benedict Cumberbatch.

Season 3 begins New Year’s Day in England, and hits PBS three weeks later.
